  1. @Inliytened1 hey join in the suffering or get lost buddy ?? ”it’s okay to suffer as long as we do it consciously, gosh!” “Your mind is playing tricks on you, there’s nobody here to suffer” “can we all just take a step back and observe, the sufferer is the suffering!” @Truth Addict he has a good thread called something like “no way as way to headlessness” and it’s very tricky to comprehend but worth diving into
  2. Phenomenological psychology I think is what @Truth Addictis referring to here is one way shared with me, to go about “enlightenment”: 1# Understanding the nature of experience-phenomenon in movement in our daily life. referred to as phenomenological psychology. 2# to understand the nature of thought and it’s relationship to the self, which also correlates with #1 3# to understand the nature of psychological time, in which also is interconnected with both #1 & #2. @Faceless considered this the most direct without all the bs method of exploration to end psychological conflict, or be liberated from the false division between the experiencer and the experience
  3. Yup getting to be old AF. Blaming you doggo @Shin
  4. @NivschWhy limit observation to a short time frame? Perhaps it is beneficial to simply be aware throughout the day, but be adamant in letting go, no control, of activities. Maybe start with fear and pleasure. Observe these emotions and see how they manipulate your activity. If this is too tough do meditation focusing on the breath until you are ready for “do nothing” technique
  5. Follow the technique, the breathing lessens your reaction to the cold
  6. @phllip103understand what it means to have an urge. What is an urge? what makes it uncontrollable? Is it a distraction, thought, or sensation? Is it resistance to being present? The best way to end an urge is to sit with it, breathe and wait until it ends, but it has to be understood why you have the urge in the first place
  7. Thoughts are what make free will seem possible. But are you really in control of your thoughts ????
  8. this video encapsulates the living strategy we take up in life unknowingly even in our spiritual practices, to stay limited in the rat race mentality
  9. Thanks haha appears to work
  10. @Flatworld Crusades cool. Hope to see you stir the pot every once. Just pretend you’re only conversing with yourself ❤️ @ivankiss haha yes! Often I find myself using words I later have to look up ? it’s refreshing sometimes to just pull words out of my ass
  11. @ivankiss hahaha you have an uncanny way with words ?? for the deep share
  12. @Flatworld Crusades this is a strange topic and at first I was curious if it was related to posts you found to be offensive in the forum. (I may be way off) There seems to be a morality about you. An increased sensitivity toward perceived conflict that is of your shadow side; there’s potential growth in reflection
  13. if we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane. ? Edit: if we weren’t crazy we’d all go insane
  14. Yes all creating self knowledge (memory) I got you ? completely unteachable
  15. @Flatworld Crusades my bad. Well resistance is fear continuously perpetuated by diverting thought or energy edit: like a broken watch maybe, but this was from a shroom trip and I was not willing to die to the substance @Serotoninluv oh so a more permanent state, okay
  16. @Truth Addictwell in relation to the observation of thought-self, the seeing through the veil of belief as in presupposing we know the fact (of what lies beyond the experience)
  17. @Serotoninluvbut I’m describing a shrooms trip lol I did have some psychosis afterwards for a little while and it was like going through the motions of life with complete uncertainty and disbelief (confusion) sort of like a lost soul hahaha
  18. Resistance = conflict = violence surrender = dying = losing oneself All psychologically or within the mind surrendering to the shroom trip .
  19. In the experience there was only mind trapped in perpetuating resistance. Looking back I add surrender as being the option out of insanity (which wasn’t really an option then)
  20. No it was based on resistance (trapped)..ime I didn’t know such option as surrender ? edit: should have clarified this sorry
  21. Well like I said ime surrender/death wasn’t an option period the death of the mind was inconceivable edit: but that’s all I’m saying/supporting, there isn’t a clear definition of sane vs insane but giving power over to an idea or belief will make it so
  22. @Serotoninluvinteresting. I was simply trying to put the simplest definition together based off experience from my understanding. To go deeper well it was fighting for my life barely clinging on for what seemed like forever Would you agree it’s all subjective? Can’t someone who doesn’t see themselves as “insane” be judged to be exactly that?
  23. Similar to mine but psychosis created more confusion than anything
  24. Experience is dependent on the experiencer. Some do not have similar belief in relation. See my definition
