@traveler I’ve experienced this problem and it’s a sort of bypassing where you create conflicting beliefs in which you are operating with, you’re resisting yourself, judging yourself and attempting to embody an idea As purerogue says, drop all your knowledge and ideas of ego and enlightenment and simply learn about the mechanics of the mind without interfering with criticism. True change (surrender) will happen on its own

Yes the mind looks out for itself. Glad to see you’re bringing awareness to this...appreciate this share ? hope is fear and it’s all you. None of it is right or wrong, good or bad, but it is self perpetuating when identified, labeled, and judged the shift in focus can be very powerful in creating new outlooks however it’s all still part of that massive story of you a complete illusion within your control as the infinite

Talking to you in person would be such a trip man ?? Awesome here’s my thoughts. I feel the issue of anti beliefs comes from either overlooking the inward dynamic of beliefs or not considering their relation with the self. I used to overlook the importance of the relative and had some really dumb interactions with friends and family. New beliefs especially about beliefs can be very alluring to adopt and then quite sticky haha

I don't like to think of it as "being conquered" but the backlash is great for growth when seen as an opportunity to learn from guilt, shame and desire. Simply bringing awareness to the activities may bring many insights of the inner workings of the mind

@Serotoninluv It is completely natural for the mind to seek out more and more complex understandings and solutions to solve a perceived "high level" issue here but the thing with inner work is the specifics are always unique to the individual. Your example was hilarious but sort of confusing as i have never actually been trying to give advice, only pointing out the OP appears to hold beliefs she isn't aware of...as her new belief system is almost anti beliefs, getting caught in judgement

totally agree, leo seems to know when playing the devil is productive. maybe i misspoke in saying it's "often" necessary

@Serotoninluv How could you not see inner work as beneficial and needed for the OP? She seems to have plenty of knowledge but lacks the wisdom to integrate her complex systems thinking in relation to others. Inner work is going to create peace and happiness, allowing for deeper connections and new approaches for dealing with any perceived stage

@Serotoninluv I’m strictly speaking about Leo and not about this thread, sorry if it came off as otherwise. I would agree this thread was out of hand proposing many projections the unknown judgment/predictions are often unwarranted but sometimes quite spot on...Leo doesn’t do them for no particular reason and I would hint Aj is operating out of the same ball park with his advice. I expect the yellow gal will be back but she has a lot of inner work to be done Leo is often ruthless and inconsiderate in his posts but these are lessons for a wider audience imo

I kind of like seeing Leo give people shit because he has a different affect based off his videos. They may be more willing to contemplate the harsh judgements he conjures

@Angelo John Gage Applaud you in sharing your thoughts/beliefs but encourage you to lead by example, focusing on inward/self understanding rather than the outward battle. Spiral dynamics, epistemology (street on YT), and shadow work are where it's all at. Thanks again for the motivational video, love the ego!

@Jed Vassallo you know nothing. drop your idea of enlightenment for it serves no value. Enlightenment is the one Truth present in each and every one of us but also not present in every one of us...how much we realize this truth in different aspects of our life dictates the level of liberation experienced or rather liberation perceived

While I see enlightenment to be unique to the individual with differing degrees of delusion/expression, either everyone or no one is enlightened. Are you enlightened enough? If not, will you ever be?

Your inability to meet people where they are at is what seems the be the issue. Nothing wrong with sharing your deeper perspective but don’t expect others to accept them. The only acceptance needed here is your own. There is no changing others so you might as well love them. If you understand where they are coming from then you too have been there. If others feel you completely accept them then they may actually be willing to ask themselves the right questions for their own growth but this isn’t a goal for you. You teach by example and support
