  1. @jbram2002 Your quarrels about Leo sort of remind me of why republicans and democrats can never come to an understanding. I like to hear your POV too because it definitely is important. When Leo preaches about Psychs it's because of his experience/history with them. Sort of like if I started asking your opinion on gaming or something along those lines. Or even you asking me specifics about working out and fitness i might start making all sorts of assumptions because of all my accumulated experiences. That personal bias we have based off our own experience is really hard to let go when there's a desire to share something we find valuable. This is why one of my favorite quotes i heard the past few years is "seek first to understand before being understood". The amazing thing about this work is it shines light on our blind spots and this can help us take a step back from out past self and no longer be so heavily influenced and reliant on it to a neurotic ignorant sense By the way i do think the definition about addiction Bill gave is pretty good. Watched this video the other day its awesome i believe it talks about neurotic behavior as well as anxieties and why we have them Maybe it was actually just relating to this video i watched today
  2. seeing all perspectives/views related to any/every-thing. I simply don't understand how this could change other than there being longer periods of being in the NOW Still watching your video in blog, excellent! @Aakash Don't worry, if you get it, i get it. There's nothing to imagine, it's all here, NOW. We can retrospect all we want...you will see more and more ways to express it as you do this.
  3. @Aakash it doesnt matter how much we embody it fam. we are IT. Why make it more complex when it can be simple? There is actually no un-embodied state, only infinite expressions/perspectives/realities.
  4. not only is it reduced but when it's not focused on, it doesn't exist. Thanks for sharing! I can't stand reading unless im able to become absorbed in the writing itself. I don't read unless it's leisure these days but i respect your proficiency in note taking, as i always half ass'd that shit. Still uncertain whether it's actually necessary. Cannot stand all the testing sort of learning we got to endure these days
  5. I question what you mean by "understood". Do you mean rationalized? I mean cmon it's complete love for everything perceived or not perceived. Sounds like acceptance to me. There is no 100% understanding for the infinite because that too is an illusion. To me you're simply using steroids and that's cool but don't imagine there's actually an end result...for completion Basically the end is "no end" Definitely checking out your blog
  6. @Shin 2nd this boyfriend ?
  7. @Leo Gura when you’re stuck chasing 5-Meo Dmt it’s hard to know what is possible in your regular form ? what are you searching for if states are infinite? Just saying...def listen to your body ? the side effect of psychs is possibly limiting beliefs...
  8. @Leo Gura ahh Leo...but Martin wouldn’t have sleep problems if he didn’t fully enlighten.... Taking psychs to “enlightenment” is an elitist mentality, like body builders taking steroids. I mean it’s your own path so good luck, but there’s gotta be integration in the NOW eventually with every passing moment as the test
  9. @Bill W cool. From what I’ve heard they aren’t physically addictive and by your definition almost every activity could become an addiction. I grew up learning to fear addiction especially alcohol as it was a big contributor to my parents divorce. I’ve since learned addiction and neuroticism is something worth completely understanding, not just on the intellectual level, but more importantly on the physical level (exploring resistance and thought too)
  10. I love the illusion of fear. “There’s nothing to fear but fear it(self)”
  11. @Bill W you think psychedelics are addictive? Yikes! I’ve had all sorts of addictions and they are the last thing I would ever get addicted to. They aren’t even recognized as an addictive drug to my knowledge if it does bother you seeing so many posts about psychs then why not learn more perspectives about them so you get a better understanding of where some forum members are coming from. In all honesty I’m simply pro-choice for psychs as long as people understand what they are and do. Id like them to be tested more for treating people. I’m curious if you know exactly what psychedelics do to the brain, what studies have said about people’s experiences and the risks
  12. @ValiantSalvatore I feel like the subconscious is a huge obstacle to one’s reading ability. when I was young and I was forced to read after school, I was always concerned with how much I was able to complete even though I didn’t want to be reading at all. I had a speed reading course in college and it did not help a bit. I couldn’t comprehend the complex text book material going at a fast pace and my sheer effort alone seemed to hinder the fluidity of the process. what I’ve found is I cannot “try to not” say words aloud in my head, but if I relax my mind and concentration I’ll possibly flow

  14. @jbram2002 All beliefs and perspectives are valid, because if they weren't then they wouldnt be possible. This is why i like to take into consideration as many perspectives as possible if it's related to a topic of high value to myself. Awesome points about beliefs we learn from others, there are so many and that's why it's such a strategic move to stay as open as possible and not get too attached to some beliefs as it only prevents growth. Yes to see what's real and what's illusion. Enlightenment points to "us" (ego) being an illusion but why believe that? After an awakening i noticed my ego wanted to take on that belief to feel more secure, and grounded. It wasn't okay being less important, let alone non-existent Well to me this would be the right person to get an opinion from if i desired to try some whiskey as they are probably quite experienced But i get what you mean. For psychedelics, there are many perspectives as to why they are good, bad, and banned. There are a couple cities now in the US who just recently decriminalized them
  15. Who says we don't see what we want to see right now (either consciously or subconsciously)? Are the beliefs you hold even your own? Who influenced them and why take up beliefs or opinions about things you haven't directly experienced? What's so great about the information age is we are all beginning to learn to think for ourselves, doing our own research, and deciding what's best for us instead of simply having to always trust others to know what's best for us and be looking out for our best interest instead of their own
  16. @jbram2002 haha yeah see my edit. Psychedelics will be the best way to experience non-duality in visuals and see energies. It also pushes you toward egoless state...I predict it will be more widely used eventually to help people with addiction and other mental illnesses @Bill Wawesome and thanks. Yeah you know what path you will take, trust in your desire and curiosity edit: but they are definitely not for everyone, sort of like being vegan ?
  17. @Bill W @jbram2002 you’re perfect whether you feel the need to do work or not ? some people come here to play politics while others seek to gather tools and techniques and verify their experiences. What’s funny is when we try to figure out others without figuring out ourselves...I’m SO guilty of this. ? It’s not our job to figure them out but hey maybe they can help reveal something to us about ourselves we hadn’t realized. Instead of worrying about others we might as well turn our attention back around edit: I took magic mushrooms once and it was the scariest experience of my entire life, of course it was a bad trip in a bad setting and state of mind, but it didn’t lead to any sort of enlightenment experience, only a perception/experience of the world I’d never before believed was possible
  18. maybe you guys missed the memo: either no one or everyone is enilghtened.
  19. Sorry dude, procrastination isn’t a problem to be “fixed” just like every other psychological issue, but simply to be understood. Figuring out what is happening there and then it will no longer be something to struggle with
  20. Are you saying a quiet mind is that of an animal? You are your imagination...if there is confusion then there is separation within
  21. Doesn’t even really seem necessary huh? I mean unless we are always spinning thought stories and getting attached in these confused states
  22. What is motivation? Yes I like to have a big vision
  23. Wait what? Procrastination *happens* during multi step activities? Makes sense Maybe completing small steps pulls your attention back to analyzing and choosing. Is it necessary for you to hold onto the idea of an end result? Your “just do it” attitude may be helpful in not giving much value to the pointless thoughts
  24. The mind wants to know right? It likes order...What place does the mind serve once you’ve committed to a task you feel aligned with? Stop feeling good, possibly it’s necessary to complete it or maybe not, and you change your desire sorry to jump in Truth
