It's an interesting point right, if you consider employment as someone pressured to do something to get rewarded with sustenance then you would expect employment to be even more widespread and totalitarian in an apocalyptic world with fewer resources! Reminds me of the walking dead where Negan took control of society and held all the attractive women in a literal vault. His lieutenants and other men that served him well were given occasional access to the women, one of the guys had his wife taken from him and was only able to see her on rare occasions after he submitted to Negan's wishes. Yeah, I think the apocalypse would be the death of any freedoms we've gained recently lol. -
Agreed, most video games are garbage these days. I'm sure these AIs will sooner than later be able to generate UE5 level models and assets in minutes, this should bear result to a renaissance video games and media in general is dying for. Corporate bureaucracy is really the death of art and is why movies have also gotten horrible over the last 10 years.
-
I'm gonna actually argue that A.I. generated graphics and models will lead to the biggest leap in human creativity and artistic talent in history. If your art is fueled by genuine creativity and visions that you wish to bring forth in the world then this will let you create exponentially more art and be in more control of it(if you combine that technology with the blockchain/NFt movement.) This is most obvious in the fields of filmmaking and animation where completing projects requires huge teams, years of work, and millions of dollars invested. When programs like Dalle 2 are able to create images but soon enough video renderings(and AI voice acting) and 3D models(for video games) of anything an artist can imagine, human creativity will be ever close to having no limits. I would only be worried if you truly believe that the only value you bring to the table is the mechanical skills that you've cultivated to create the art thus far. I think that's an overblown fear though and ultimately this will be a good shift for both you and the artistic spirit of the human race in general.

I think it's because Destiny is a very unique character, truly a gem of originality. Really intelligent and well-spoken, mildly open-minded but also really inexperienced and dogmatic in a lot of topics. I'm a fan of his from my esports days but some takes he has and biases are a bit unfortunate to see. -
I don't think you've studied the content on this platform as your understanding of it and even the basic concept that you use seem half-baked. The concept of leeching relates to taking from something without adding value to it. Not only did Leo add value to it in terms of value(I guess that point is subjective if you believe that his interpretation of it did or did not add depth to it) but he also gave them massive exposure which is pretty undeniable. Also, your critique that people now use the SD model for their ego gratification is strangely put. First of all, if you can't stop that negative side-effect but it also adds value then it's a clear positive. It is also wrong though because people already by default use things like status, money, or intelligence to compare themselves against others. If because of Leo now they use levels of conscious development then that's a clear win. I would recommend watching some of the Actualized.org videos from around 2016 so that you can start the journey of understanding these ideas properly.

That's a ridiculous take on both what happened and how these things should work. Leo prefaced each of his videos by crediting their work and did literally say he would put his subjective opinion on it. That like if someone drew a map and you said thank you for drawing the map, I found it quite useful but I noticed that actually this part of the map was inaccurate and if you guys are looking to go in that direction I would suggest you take X and Y path instead. In what world would it make sense to not do that? And also, as @_Archangel_ said, that's how any model or any innovation in science has ever been achieved. Humans building on other human's work. Also, wasn't Clare Graves the one that really built the model and Beck just studied with him? Seems like Beck never managed to get very far up the stages and has a lot of ego attachment towards it. His understanding of the stages below Yellow seems quite sound but anything beyond that he not only hasn't reached but also rejects. Keep in mind people that it's not because you make a car(or have some part in making a car) that you're gonna be the one that's great at driving it.

I'm curious if anybody here can relate to this sentiment. I'm mixed race and therefore don't particularly have a racial identity. I grew up speaking French then moved to an English province and have lived as an anglophone since then so language-based identity doesn't mean much to me. I have lived in different major cities and small towns and have found great friends and relationships in them all so I kind of feel at home anywhere and nowhere specific. I used to be a big gamer and then a stoner and then a pickup guy and now don't really identify with these groups so I don't feel like I have any type of group label that applies to me. I'm an introvert(INTP) but also developed my social skills so feel quite at ease in most social situations so neither existence really defines me. I feel quite comfortable in this existence but yet I have not found any particular thing, group, activity, or anything else really that really defines me or holds my interest for particularly long. It's a strange paradox that I haven't really seen anyone talk about. I don't feel lost but I also don't feel found. Almost like nihilism but I find a lot of meaning in most things so I don't really relate with people of that ideology. I hope that made sense, curious if most or some people here can relate to this feeling.

Thank you for the recommendations, I was looking at getting them, you get both for $10 that's crazy!

Ideally never go for numbers, that's what Instagram is for. Especially for times like this where you don't have to build rapport. As a young guy building a creative purpose, social media should be your best friend both for business/creative purposes but also dating ones.

Depends on who you are and what you value in life. If you want pure wealth then obviously crypto is the only answer here. Because it's an emerging market that's so speculative, if you put in the research and fundamentally understand it, I'd say the chance for pretty crazy returns is here. The other alternative to that is to fund your own business as Leo emphasized. Using that 30k as a cushion while you take time outside your job to develop a side hustle is a solid plan. If you're not too heavily invested in your current place of residence then using that money to move abroad to a sunny low cost of living place and make an income online is a pretty solid move. https://www.youtube.com/c/nomadcapitalist This channel has some great videos on this. I'm gonna go against your uncle's advice and say take it out of the fund. You live in a wild west era of civilization, might as well play it a bit risky, especially if you're under 35. TFSA stocks are great to get a good return of maybe 7-20% and slowly become upper-middle-class over the next 5-15 years but unless you're a really safe person that hates risk that sounds like an underwhelming way to live one's life but I am a life advisor, not a financial one. Also, keep in mind what social circle you want to be a part of. In general, stocks appeal to an older crowd and crypto is more hip. In big cities there are plenty of crypto events and meetups around so investing in that industry will lead to you being able to make friends with a lot of the men and women involved in that space; that's a good way to help both your financial and social life.

Yeah, definitely. Don't have much to lose if it's a night game environment as you probably won't see her again. How realistic this is depends on the type of club, some of them just have big public washrooms, some of them have isolated washrooms and some have a valet guy in them that you can probably tip so he lets you do your thing. Going to the friends' place is a massive hail mary but it's a cool adventure to have regardless. You have to maintain her mood the whole time and also game the friend into not being against this? I've never done it, sounds super bothersome.

@Preety_India Thank you for sharing, cool perspective. I agree that our gender relations are damaged beyond belief and it's super sad. Especially as a man that loves women, women are great and are basically super heroes for us. It's everything you want in a human companion.

Pretty girls are usually well socialized and generally have the charisma to make you feel good even when they want you to leave them alone. I don't know if it has anything to do with being a nice/good person but in general they have way better social skills.

If that's what you believe then that's the cause of your being drained after watching porn by yourself. If you authentically don't want to be doing that and you really want to find a girl to cum into but you're too lazy/scared to do it then that is the shame/guilt, nothing to do with the act of masturbating itself. I feel pretty good and inspired after I watch porn because I know that my main goal is to figure out my purpose/cash flow right now and running after girls doesn't do too much for me in the immediate future. If anything I feel inspired because I know that I'm on track to getting my version of the wild sex I'm seeing on screen.

Why? Depends how you mean it but to me the term female is very sacred and an ultimate compliment. As a man the term girl implies a human connection, which is great but I mean that's the same connection we all share so cool but not particularly special. But the male to female connection is very different. As a human male females are basically your other half, best friend, future and potential carriers of your genes. They're elevated in importance beyond what any male could offer you. I mean the incels probably don't mean it like that but to me the term female just means ? You're looking at it the wrong way. It's like sales, if someone tries to sell you something you want you appreciate it and if it's a useless thing you're annoyed. Flirting is basically just the act of letting a girl know you're interested in her. Physical looks help but there's many ways to be valuable as a man that will make her appreciate that flirting attempt. IMO it helps if you make it very down to the basics what value do you offer women in general. Look at it like caveman days(the world is just as brutal today mate) if she sticks with you is she better or worse off? If she's clearly better off than flirting is just the act of letting her know that. If she won't then your flirting is you trying to SCAM and ENDANGER her and she should be creeped out/concerned.

Which precise hobbies do you have? Work -> Use free time to develop skills(this part should be fun and integrate with your hobbies) -> socialize i.e. build a lifestyle with the people you want to. This is the current optimal life plan. Please don't go on a MGTOW forum for solidarity, these people are beyond lost. It's like being broke and socializing with the homeless people under the bridge because they kind of relate to you; it's GAME OVER bro.

100%. Don't obsess over it but do everything reasonable to maximize all that you can, especially all of those. You will be shocked and offended by the effects that looking better achieve for you, it does not solve the issue of game but makes it a lot more of a pleasant experience. Gym is a simple point and will help tremendously, teeth whitening is a HUGE one and simple. You can get a professional whitening done at your dentist for a few hundred dollars or get the whitening strips for around $30, both work great. I've done the strips and people notice immediately. No brainer investment.

No idea about the enlightenment part tbh but keep in mind Sadhguru comes from a different era and culture than most of us here. Also keep in mind that he doesn't have a partner. If you want to prioritize your union to the world itself than I guess go down that path but if you want a high quality sexual/romantic/intimate relationship with another human partner than I have a hard time seeing how you'd do it without first a lot of experience. The guy I know with the healthiest and most grounded mindset when it comes with women has a lay count of 500+, not that it's necessary to get that high but it does follow the principle.
-
It literally does though. Once you give up on life then your subconscious starts to wish death upon yourself and you will find it soon enough thereafter. It's common for old people to die of natural causes once they have no more purpose on this Earth, it happens to lifelong couples where one partner does of a disease and the other one follows suit mysteriously after. Also of old men that have nothing to live for. There is more to life than the parasympathetic system, it is not the source of life force.

This happens all the time. It's a good sign because when you're an inoffensive nice guy then girls have no reason to react negatively to you. When you try to charm and mate them, then you expose yourself to the true harsh nature of the real world Welcome to the fun cowboy.

Have you put effort into your looks? Think of them as a skill(of course there's a limit that each person has and some can achieve more than others but that's like any skill) rather than something you're born with. Are you working out? Have you researched and actively worked on your fashion? Have you researched guys that look like you that are more attractive and broken down how they look different? Is your hairstyle/facial hair trendy? You know how they say makeup drastically changes women and can bring them up a few points, the exact same thing(if not more) can be done for a man but it perhaps takes more effort. I used to have girls say eww in reference to me and after a few years of working on it, when I dress well at the club I get asked if I'm a model all the time.b Don't get offended, get to work. You will get laid off of looks alone if you put effort into it, it's a part of game for a reason. Just don't get obsessed with it, that's a sad rabbit hole to fall down.

Sounds like a good plan.

I would really be fascinated if a male could actually get addicted to a fleshlight. I had one and one of the Tenga Fliphole that @Leo Gura talked about and he's not lying, it felt literally just like a real pussy if not better. It was almost an offensive experience to me and a lot of effort to clean up your own cum out of a rubber tube after. The physical sensation of sex is nothing IMO, to me really showed that it's all about you and the girl experiencing each other. I don't think I'd ever get one again but it's worth experiencing to really understand the experience of sex. If you're a virgin/incel type reading this and you're stuck in the porn boat and peaking down the fleshlight/VR porn road then please do yourself a favor and seriously try getting laid or just get an escort. Literally infinitely better, not even comparable.

You guys are are overthinking it. You can't make all of life woohoo and spiritual, you're a mammal mate. Do you want to fuck "hot" girls? If yes, go out and do it. You say that doesn't particularly appeal to you, then amazing the only question is really are you able to attract, date and sleep with girls that are attractive to you? Be careful of falling into the trap of subjectivity, there is such a thing as objective beauty. All of life is beautiful but if you want to look at an empty fridge instead of mountain landscape then you're either enlightened beyond anything I've seen or delusional. You can choose to ignore the social hierarchy but don't try to fool yourself into thinking it doesn't exist. Probably you don't have the value/game to attract girls that are on the higher scale of society, whether that's in looks or status. There are advantages that come from playing that game that regular men will never enjoy. You can fool yourself into thinking that you've reached a higher level of connection and are below shallow constructs of the lower consciousness people but that's all it is. My personal goal is to find a few girls I like, make a passive income and travel the world with them. That seems simple in theory but I've met hundreds of guys that live nowhere close to that lifestyle so it's clearly a 0.01% royalty goal. That's what I will do and I will put the effort in to make that crazy goal happen. Whatever your crazy goal is, do yourself the favor of doing the same.

I've had similar experiences with taking psychedelics and getting lost in my own self/ego. It seems like a cool concept, I'm confused why it was removed. Most of the topics here are too deep for the average joe, why is this one any different? Perhaps have it on the blog/somewhere else where only people that are truly engaged have access to it, I'm sure I would've found value in it.
