I'm very glad for this video, at the time he released that NFT I really wanted to buy it. I do think he works hard and is a smart guy but after watching leo's video on integrity the whole business scene is so disgusting to me. These guys could never be in the position they are without cutting corners, embellishing stuff and yeah literally scamming people. This statement is wild after people paid $5k for about nothing. Basically a dark-stage orange response. A couple years ago my dream would've been to end up being basically this guy. Glad I didn't end up going that path.

Can you elaborate on the point of this? Like what is the full fleshed-out vision you see with this? Companions in a video game? Talking to as a friend/therapist? It would be kind of cool like a superior version of the sims where you can play God to your own civilization in VR with AI characters that aren't conscious(so there is no moral grey area ) but they behave exactly as if they would be.

There is a project called Earth Species Project who aims to map all animal language and make it translatable using AI. Can't wait to talk philosophy with my cat.

@Rafael Thundercat I feel similarly. Spirituality both made suicide less taboo for me than before but also more pointless. Might as well enjoy the experience and learn to integrate the suffering. Been suicidal lately as life got hard and I'd say spirituality has helped more me than not. I would say specifically stuff like the power of now and the meditation habit that I got from you Leo have been very helpful.

@Shodburrito I see your point but you're conflating awakening and models of consciousness. Spiral dynamics for example just means you can see the world from an increasingly large perspective and the more people do that the less stuff like violence, racism, intolerance, etc will take place. Most things are relative to a point but the more we as a species increase in empathy the less we collectively suffer which I'd say is objectively better.

People like him and David Sinclair at Harvard combined with AI/AGI is how we will probably develop biological immortality this century. God bless him but don't listen to him everything he says; I agree with that part of your guy's skepticism.

That doesn't make much sense to me, he would be suicidal as an introvert going out 7 days a week. All extroverts have an introverted function in the 2nd spot of their function stack so it's not like they explode from spending time by themselves necessarily. Extroverts get energized after a bunch of socialization though. I've never really felt like I gained momentum after sets like most PUAs talk about, if anything it drains me even if the successful ones less so. @VictorB02 It's a cool idea. Our entertainment, in general, is too focused on killing, growing up I thought I would get a gun at 18 and just go assassin mode on people that pissed me off.

Do you guys know the backstory of Owen? He was miserable and depressed living in Kingston Canada then took a Boot Camp with Mystery, took his business model, and did it himself after moving to LA. It's a cool story, but it's hard to replicate. He threw himself into this and went out 7 days a week for years according to him and I believe it. He's speculated to have an ENFP personality type so he gets energized by going out and talking to people; perfect business for him. As an INTP I've studied game for years and been around pickup coaches. Most of the people who find great success in that career are ENTJs or ENFJs like Owen. I met Mystery himself; cool guy. Engaging speaker but seemed lost in nostalgia and deeply hurt. The story of pickup will be an interesting one for humanity.

Find friends outside of work to go out with that will accept you is what I'd say. It'll always be hard to make people accept you especially if they have an emotional bias about it.

Would your wife be open to joining the swinging scene/be into an open relationship? Just probably do a lot of self-improvement before then as she'll be way more attractive to random men then you will be to random women otherwise.

I like lust, it saves me from the dreadfulness of regular life. At least something exciting to look forward to.

@QVx I feel like I'm getting to that stage and it feels like being lost in relativism. Hard to make plans as the intellect I was so sure of before now doesn't seem that useful to me. Very confusing stage of life and I'm learning to just let go and surrender to the moment which feels really good tbh but also incredibly confusing. Do you relate to that or have any advice for it?

I think you're unto something. Intellectual compatibility is huge in relationships and I have a lot of trouble finding that as an INTP. I used to have kind of a superiority complex when it came to the average extraverted normie girl as a sour grapes I imagine but I just don't think we're particularly compatible. I usually tend to be attracted to mostly rebel women with piercings, tattoos, colored hair that also don't seem to fit in narrowly in mainstream culture.

I like her point on seduction as a game. I've done pickup on and off for like 10 years now and it's never really felt fun to me. Mostly a lot of anxiety and then craving. I'm curious if for some of you going out is actually consistently a fun adventure with thrill and wonder or if it's mostly a negative experience like I experience it.

I feel what you feel. Props on going on that date that takes a lot of courage. All I'll say is that if you believe in non-duality then it makes sense that fundamentally most of us are going to be on the bisexual spectrum as we're all the same energy. The concept of spiral dynamics does make sense as to why that's so frowned upon. I think in a few dozen years the large-scale societal shame around it will be pretty much dissolved and we'll all live much closer to one another.

Leo has many videos in which he does make the point that you should focus on the lower levels of Maslow's hierarchy before focusing on stuff like self-actualization, transcendence and truth. I have fallen into this trap myself where I feel I'm almost at stage turquoise and can barely feed myself and I don't recommend it. He started his journey in this topic being a successful business owner with multiple tens of thousands/hundreds of thousands to his name and not a college student/struggling entrepreneur. I do wish he would keep mentioning it over and over as it is a very diabolical trap to fall into I'd say.
