Enlightenment happens with dropping the “I”. After enlightenment, freedom is inevitable, which is priceless. If you mean happiness by that, yes totally agreed. ? -

Including, As Peter Raltson says, what we perceive now is everything, thats the world. Because that’s everything that perceive. Thats a function of being organism, function of surviving in the world, which we create perception, so we can do that. But it is not absolutely true. And if you recall, you dont know how it is you began. Vs. but somehow we were ignorant in the beginning and we are still ignorant. We dont know anymore about what we are, what life and what existence is than we did in the beginning. All we done is, just learn about stuff. But we haven’t got a direct consciousness that what this is, what consciousness is, what existence is, what self is. So if we open up a possibly to that we could do that, that’s enlightenment. It is merely and only, it is not something fantastic, huge, mundane. It is of and has nothing to with the charts. Thats one of the problem, question and wondering trying to find answer about enlightenment, all is done in the same relative world. But enlightenment is absolute not relative. But when you say absolute, you say waowww, oh it is really big, it’s absolute ?? NO, it mean is just true, absolutely true, just the truth. So enlightenment is you is becoming directly conscious of whats true, what you are and what existence is. No more than that. Enlightenment is simply being where you already are! Peace!? -

The main problem is, when you say word of “nothingness “ is still something or form, because you name and label the words and thoughts as saying “nothing”. But there is no such a thing as thought, form, formlessness nor words. There is just “nothing” no such a thing as something. And these are not words. How do you know that these are sentences? Now, is before birth and after death. You are already what you are just so called thought processes make “you” so called separated. But “you” have never began or start. The say that “you are already awaken” comes from this perspective. Do you think there is a body and you are inside of it? Even if if you think that way, when body so called dies, there is a still body, but where are you? There is no “life” nor “death”. But unfortunately “mind” can never comprehend this, because mind still within the thought process. Additionally, you can say why are you writing these sentences if nothing is happening, it is meaningless ? Because, there is no such a thing as meaning or meaningless, still a “thought “. But for you, meaning is still “real” or “exist”. Thats why questioning is inevitable. Nothing has ever existed and happened, thats nirvana. Papaji Just watch these 2 videos, might be helpful. Peace! -

@Someone here there is just nothing brother. Anything that you have learned is a thought including word of the “thought “. There is no infinite, mind, universe vs. Anything learned is comes from so called “self”, even “you” learned “your” “self”. There is just nothing. There is no such a thing as something. Therefore, it is genuinely not knowing, which is just being as before birth. If you dont learn you never born. Now is death, before birth. “The ultimate truth is not even to think.” Buddha Saying that “become vegetable “, it is clear to see that still mind is operating. Operating mind still consider thoughts as “thoughts” (still naming and labeling). When your so called mind transforms thoughts are no longer thoughts. There is no individual to think the thoughts, thoughts are you, therefore no thoughts, no mind, and no thinking. Because when “you” think the thoughts (you is another thought), thoughts are thinking the thoughts. Because all is nothing, which is you. Additionally, if everything is nothing, therefore, there is no such a thing as something. “All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain” Buddha How do you know there is an intellect? Who teach you that? Is that them direct experience or something that they have learned? Intellect is still a thought that “you” have learned as “vegetable”. If you take the thoughts away, you will take away entire universe including “you”, “infinity “ and “vegetable “. Because infinite and vegetable is learned by “you” and “your” so “called mind”. @Claymoree @Someone here Kaivalya (कैवल्य), is the ultimate goal of Raja yogaand means "solitude", "detachment" or "isolation", a vrddhi-derivation from kevala "alone, isolated". It is the isolation of purusha from prakṛti, and liberation from rebirth, i.e., Moksha (although this is controversial due to the predominant view that it is impossible to separate/isolate purusha from prakrati, and vice versa). Kaivalya-Mukti is described in some Upanishads, such as Muktika and Kaivalya as the most superior form of Moksha which can grant liberation both within this life, as Jivanmukti, and after death, as Videhamukti, and is the essence of all Upanishads.[1] Wikipedia -

James123 replied to Adodd's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Adodd silent and darkness meditation peactices and living in silence and darkness can be very helpful. At the final level of samadhi is realization of your “birth” is just a process of thoughts, which mean is realization of “you” or “i” have never born. Birth was just naming, labeling and putting meaning on the thoughts, including as saying “thought” to thoughts. -
James123 replied to TheSelf's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is no “body” neither “you”. Your thought process creates so called your identity, including “leaving the body”. God head is not knowing, which is just being. -

everyone asks the same question. And stuck with trips of pychedelics. That’s why sober awakening is must. You can never get awaken with psychedelics ? When you realize your birth is just a thought, “you” get it. Because, do you think you have a body now? Or in universe? There is no one here. “You have long way to go brother. Peace !

Cool brother ?
-
@Seraphim just read the link. Thats the last stage of Samādhi.
-
Not assumptions, direct realization. When “you” remove thought process, will remove entire so called self universe including “you” .
-
Infinite is something that you have learned. limitless or endless in space, extent, or size; impossible to measure or calculate. This is the vocabulary explanation of infinite. It is very identical with what you say. But truth never comes from learning. Not knowing is nothingness. If “you” can name and label the experience thats an illusion. Do you remember anything before your birth? Was there any infinite before your birth? No it wasn’t, because before birth was genuinely not knowing. Thats why your so called birth happened with learning and knowing. Awakening is genuinely not knowing, which is before birth. Read the page before Samādhi stages, when universe and space conceptualization collapses before the last stage. Cant be more clear than this. You should listen the men of intelligence.
-
I clearly explained brother, differences between nothingness and infinite. What is not clear about?
-
@SpiritualAwakening Because when you say “infinity” you identify or form it with “something “, and naming or labeling the so called “experience “. Nothingness has no identification nor form. As an example, deep sleep, what was before so called birth. If you dont think during the day, there will be no “during the day”. When you “think” as even saying infinite, you are right in duality. (Even nothing is a word, which is something , but cant explain without that word). If you never learn what infinity is how can you know the experience that you having is “infinity”? You can realize at that moment, “not thinking” gives you sleeping quality and realize that only thinking create so called universe. Therefore if you dont think, you are before birth. Thats why it is called “awakening “. You are already nothing, if you forget everything you have learned you are already yourself. You dont need to name and label to become yourself. You are already. Just empty your cup. Peace!

Welcome to Fantasyland. “Experienced” with an “I”. Read the Samādhi stages above.

@gettoefl i know brother. This is what osho talk about in that video. There is no such a thing as infinity, time or space. They are Just thought. You can read the below. Nirvichara Samadhi For the first time, true one-pointed concentration becomes possible. Even subtle thoughts do not occur. The perceptual limitations of time and space are transcended; this state is called Nirvichara Samadhi. Kaivalya Samadhi The final stage is to reach Kaivalya Samadhi: complete, final, and eternal union with the real, eternal form. Which is nothingness. Osho is talking about final stage as this. Thats why he is saying that he has been nothing for 30 years. https://vedicfeed.com/stages-of-samadhi/
