I actually didn't say it is an illusion. It is actually greatest not enemy but deceiver. When ownership ends, you are not even a witness, therefore no suffering takes place. Where is the one who is conscious, if you have already no sense of self? Try to give up one of your strongest attachment. Like smoking cigarettes, maybe you spend only 30 minutes in entire day with smoking. And compare that with your entire life, loved ones, experiences, properties, and most importantly try to survive and stay alive. Do you think these attachments will go easy? 😊

Life is an exam between knowing Truth or your true nature and lollipop (body and mind etc...). If you do not give up lollipop, sweetness takes it place with endless fire till surrender. Top of that you waste the life with anger, suffer, achievements, goals, expectations, meanwhile being free and untouched.
