  1. @BipolarGrowth Respect! I have the same thoughts about this. Leos work has absolutely put my life on an entire different trajectory and the degree of how his work has shaped my mind is profound. @Daniel347 He is from what I have researched and seen from my own experience been one of the first or at least few to make the information more relatable to modern times. Definitely the leading in "Advanced Personal Development" in comparison to "personal development" regular personal development does not normally reach Tier 2 thinking where as majority of Leos content is Tier 2. When you reach Tier 2 thinking your whole mind recontextualizes the way you see the world and Leos content can directly facilitate this type of growth with work.
  2. @Gesundheit2 Yeah the easiest way is to observe the quality of your experience. Are you more peaceful, pleasant, calm, are you less anxious, neurotic, tense.
  3. @VeganAwake I agree, it feels like any resistance that was there relaxed up or dissolved. As if this character needs upheld and in doing so creates an inner tension. There was no more thinking. Which it seems I have preconceived notions of needing thought to interact or have simply been so "reliant" on thought to interact, specifically the verbal stream of language in order to communicate. That when that ceased there was only a soft confusion, yet a peaceful feeling.
  4. @nistake Yes I do,thank you for the advice I will continue my practices. Are you in state like I described most of the time as a result of your own practices?
  5. @Matthew85 Thank You, I understand this is the surface level of it but going any further beyond that will just confuse people. Giving people the deep stuff before you introduce the shallow stuff just leaves a massive opening for confusion and systematic uncertainty. Then we get all these reactions and aversions and that doesnt help anyone lol.
  6. @electroBeam Your welcome brother, Thank you for positively acknowledging it. I appreciate that as well. Im very glad you understood it! Its tricky to communicate this stuff. I noticed we here on the forum would create a much better environment to learn and grow when we try to work at a persons level if we choose to offer advice. Yes of course it is deeper than that, and becomes increasing more challenging to understand, Its easy to just say it how it is from the experienced state of consciousness, and think your all wise, but what is wisdom if your not executing proper use of it. What sense will that make to talk about it to others unless you help bring them up to some form of relating to it to get them going, the process will then take care of itself if you remain consistent on contemplating it . The reconextualizing is the most important part. As you grow even all that will again recontextualize, Its challenging enough to understand these things let alone communicate it to others who are trying to understand it. It also helps clarify for my own experience when i can communicate my understanding of it which helps me grow as well. This is my perspective of it and everyone will have a unique version based on where they are at but generally it can be understand in simple terms and again letting it go to work itself out. Its just like teaching martial arts you cant teach Black belt stuff to a White belt. You can but its just too much. You have to break it down some so the mind can start to see the pieces and you start to understand how the structures unfold and turn into new forms. Allowing growth of ways of interpreting. You can show the same move 3 times and 3 different times you see something different, then you begin to interconnect ways of thinking about it that unlock new aspects.
  7. @electroBeam @electroBeam Yeah I think I see where your getting stuck at. Okay so you wanna try an learn to go "meta". Ill do my best to articulate this. Its like you observe within your mind from a place right before an "identification" process would happen. Like in your mind you take a step back before labeling, before an act to identify with anything at all and you observe from a higher perspective. Your mistaking how you interpret "creating your own reality" Its not the same as for example like your creating a stick figure on a piece of paper using a pencil. Its closer to the way your creating vision by opening your eyes, Its rather an automatic function that works with you as you. Its just that the "external" world functions like that as well, because there are actually no boundaries but it takes a state change in consciousness for you to see it that way. Certain aspects of reality are only perceivable depending on your state. Different states offer different perceptions. At the level we are discussing its possible to become conscious of (or be able to perceive) that creation process. I cant answer your question as to why certain elements manifest in your own reality and their randomness, but there are techniques you can begin doing to raise your own awareness and begin your own inquiry into that. Leo mentions them. As for your last point, Your question is better phrased "How do I structure my life to satisfy my "desires/goals" You basically just need to learn how to strategize your life in a manner that facilitates a path to reach your goals. You backwards engineer the step you need to take to arrive at your goal. As you engage in your day to day steps, which would consist of mainly learning and training or saving, is the manner in which your creating the potential to reach your goal. This varies greatly based on what you want. From skill development, to material possessions to relationships. The idea of manifestation and control I assume you have to influence things spontaneously at will at the moment you conceive them in your mind with no action just isn't something for your current state of consciousness. How-ever! The way you learn to manifest things is the degree you learn to discover what is required to manifest your desire. As well as the degree to which your able to let go. Manifestation works on the level of thought then you have to learn how to translate those thoughts into your direct experience via action taking. Manifesting a skill takes training and consistency. Obtaining material possessions requires money. How-ever, the experiences vary greatly; but based on your level of consciousness, sometimes your in the right place at the right time and what you need is provided. Sometimes by another person or you find it, and you may think to yourself how it seems to be a coincidence you obtained the thing but its a rare form of manifestation. Sometimes manifestation can be spontaneous at certain levels such as finding an item left in a random location you walk past minutes after it was on your mind, but you still had to go do the walking to find it. These example are vary rare but possible, the more you let go of wanting them the more likely they are to manifest for you, its about intention the letting go. Its not exactly known how this happens but its more common the higher your level of consciousness, but for a more grounded way to manifest material possessions you need be financially able to. How you manifest money is an entire skill in itself which you can research how to do. Manifestation is better stated as " the act of appearing in your reality" which your familiar with going to work and getting a paycheck and if you have direct deposit money manifests or appears into your bank account. Its easier understood when looking at it in that manner. Manifesting circumstances takes exploring and doing things that can lead up to it. Like if you wanted to manifest a trip to a car show you gotta look up car show locations and go attend one. Control is an illusion but I can tell you how to manage the illusion of it. The degree you learn to control is the degree you can control yourself and manage your emotions. Then to the degree you understand how persuasion works, the degree you learn how anticipation works, the degree you can think steps ahead, and many other factors. It depends on which area you desire control in and what situation. For example if you desire to control people you need to learn the psychology of persuasion and how that whole process works. Understanding a persons habits, tendencies and aversions and attractions and how to influence those element in your favor. I do not encourage manipulating others to get what you want or to do things for you but that is an available option of control if you learn to do it properly. Another example is in Martial Arts I can control my opponent by learning how to anticipate his attacks based on his body movements or lead him into making a specific attack based on my own actions that will create an opening or a weak spot in his defenses that I will then take advantage of and launch a counter move such as an arm lock of some kind successfully controlling my opponent. It all depends on what kind of control your looking for, what your agenda is. Then finding methods to do that. A funny example is you can control the flow of traffic if you drive in the fast lane the same speed and parallel to a vehicle in the slow lane successfully controlling the speed of all the other cars behind you. Control is how your able to dictate circumstances successfully and input your own adjustments to facilitate an outcome.
  8. @electroBeam The notion of "wanting" is all ego, that is why it just doesn't work like that. Desire comes from the ego. Its pretty much that a notion of preference is unnecessary for creation. Its kind of like reading a book. As your reading your manifesting the story in your mind but you dont get to choose what is manifested/imagined before you read the words, It is just "painting" the picture automatically as you read. Your still creating it all though, Same thing for reality. Except your personal self or ego is the story you experience in first person pov. Then everything from there is also the story called your life.
  9. @Matthew85 Yes I do know this already. The way we each perceive and interpret things varies greatly. It can be useful to ask questions but as you mentioned all the answers can be derived by ourselves and must be self verified in our own direct experience.
  10. When 2 people are standing next to one another, person A and person B. What is experiencing A's senses and thoughts and what is experiencing Bs? If the answer is the same thing, Both A and B are identical such as (Awareness or God or Consciousness) What is that "same thing"? So primary question: Could that mean person A knows persons B's senses and thoughts and vice versa? If not how come? ( Leo says because there is no need to) but that doesn't really answer the question. If they can not does this imply they are separate? Maybe some of you have experienced moments where you and a friend were thinking the same things or you thought something and someone else said it when there was no direct conversation going on, or you said something and someone else said they were just thinking that. Situations such as this have been puzzling and tricky to understand, to what extend do these phenomena go? Leo touched the answer to this question in "What is Consciousness?" with the lego house analogy. The question is more about the content inside Person A or Bs mind compared to just understanding how A and B are the same because I get that part. But he didnt actually answer the question there.
  11. @Dodo Thank you for your input, i havent thought about the fact that your right, in a dream there doesnt appear to be shared thoughts by the dream characters and what not so i see how that translates to being in the waking state. I understand how all is dreamed by reality and that makes sense. Its definitely something you just kinda gotta silently keep to yourself because I do see the potential dangers of going down that rabbit hole and falling off the rails in the waking state when those ideas are pushed because I dont think the ego can handle that. It actually does end up deconstructing, but i dont know if thats the best method to do so lol. When you start questioning if others can read your mind and stuff it certainly brings on some emotional challenges and further attachment to thoughts to the point where you start trying to control the thoughts and resist them which creates problems.
  12. @Syia I feel like your 3 points explain it well, and from a persons perspective in my opinion it helps to get support in our questions even if its also imaginary, we do need to verify it ourselves. Like this is alot to take in an accept once you truly see it, so I dont think its pointless because for me anyway it feels like it does help to read additional perspectives, to at least chill with the illusion that we are getting support rather than none at all. If anything then its a unique way to look at "self talk" which is kinda like doing shadow work which is like self therapy.
  13. @Leo Gura Ok thank you Leo, this is very clear to me now. So Imagination IS reality. Just as you explained in your video "What is Reality" I had to go meta on my own perspective to be able to understand that. Dude I got sick to my stomach when i realized this, followed by a calm or acceptance. Is that just an egoic reaction?
  14. @Matthew85 Yeah that would be valuable as I value direct experience claims from others to help incorporate into my world view to facilitate understanding, I would note your opinion, because you dont know the information I have read or been taught and if I rely on that for my own understanding or if I rely on my direct experience. Not to sound defensive because there is nothing for me to defend here, only pointing out your claim of myself. Because based on what you said its been the complete opposite. As my awareness greatly expands if there were any concepts i happened to learn from an external source they become known and understood or realized during my direct experience and contemplating. Some of which are prior realized then referred to or mentioned about after words, some years later in an external source. So I now understand why you stated your" direct experience is somewhat different than what they articulated." which again is to be expected as we all have unique levels of understanding and interpretation of our own experience based on our background that resonates with deeper things that other perspectives understand in a similar manner. I stay open minded but I am also fully aware of incommensurability, as you must also be aware of, So I feel this will provide a pleasant opportunity to learn another's perspective. Thank you.
  15. @Inliytened1 Yes, definitely been going meta, all its workings become very clear when that is engaged, theres some resistance for sure, i can see how its a functioning of its own processing or perpetualization. Do you have any recommendations to facilitate less resistance? I would assume to just continue observation. Its really the only option. Any linguistic addition of ideas it will try to co-opt?
  16. @Matthew85 Remember we all will interpret things a little differently based on all the prior experiences and current stage of understanding we are at, and get lucky when we interpret things similarly, so to communicate the understanding the best we can articulate it can be incommensurable at this level of inquiry, So its to be expected yours would be somewhat different. However i am curious what is your experience if you'd like to share?
  17. @Inliytened1 Yeah I feel you there, the ego certainly like wants to have an existence of its own, and even tell its friends about this, but there's an understanding that this isnt really to be shared, it will just be an egoic claim. Truth is for "you/I" and only "you/I" to understand. Its almost a bit sad feeling but its humbling. Theres a deep wisdom here it feels like? Did you feel similar upon your realization?
  18. @Inliytened1 That makes sense. Thank you for your response. It cleared up my assumptions. Its been awhile since i had a deeper realization experientially rather than just cognitively understanding it.
  19. @Matthew85 Reference Inliytened1 answer to this question, I experientially understood my question after communicating with his response.
  20. @KaRzual You create the notion of a reason. Its really up to you if you want. A reason isnt really necessary unless you imagine the need for one.
  21. @Inliytened1 Yeah I actually deeply realized this and felt sick to my stomach just now and remembered to just let go and layed down on my bed, the mind certainly had some trouble accepting that an emotional reacting occurred and eyes watered slightly and just remembered to just let it go. I then realized its okay because "Im" imaginary too and I felt a much better. Then I heard my neighbor upstairs begin playing guitar and it was a relaxing to listen and just be like its okay that it is this way. Acceptance..Theres actually a feeling of accomplishment present now. Id ask if this is a good thing or just egoic pride, but the answers going to be imaginary lol.
  22. @Inliytened1 I understand that. So in other words it cant really be answered because its a hypothetical situation which i am imagining in order to give an example of a situation that if I found myself in currently I would desire to understand the question i am asking. This is the only method I have to communicate a question like this, So in other words the questions answer would be one-sided and what ever is imagined to be so is the answer?
  23. @Leo Gura If we have person A and Person B standing next to each other, Can person A come to understand this in front of person B? Like A realizes its creating B? Will person B understand its being created by A, Or is it the same from their perspective that B is creating A ? and would realization of this become noticed in only 1 or by both of them?
  24. @Gesundheit2 The observer as you put it is not the ego. Because the ego is a process of identification with anything that is "observable" thoughts, images, feelings, perceptions. The viewer/observer is the pure awareness which is not capable of anything but "Being" there. There's no actual viewer, only what is viewed in the form of perceptions/appearances. The idea of "my" perceptions is the ego. as you can see that idea itself is another perception. There is only perception made out of awareness.
