  1. Anyone think these drugs were actually criminalized because they wanted people to be assimilated into the hamster wheel of wage slavery? Taking drugs that make you outcome independent probably doesn't fit well with that.... to see the futility of working 60 hours a week to barely be able to afford rent with the price of housing these days. It's illegal in my state but everyone who wants it uses it anyways. Nobody cares. It's like speed limit laws... they are more suggestions than laws.
  2. The open focus technique from the book Open Focus Brain helped me most here. We tend to use narrow objective focus to bury and distract ourselves from negative emotions. Adjusting attention style to cultivate an alpha brainwave state helps purge those emotions and make me aware of when my emotions are fueled from thought stories since thoughts and emotions feed off each other.
  3. What is the purpose of life? Who's to say who's thinking is "right" or not... it's all open to interpretation and there are many levels of truths. The behavior of human beings is in my opinion mostly genetic programming/destiny. Our egos are computer programs shaped by DNA and culture. It's all quite impersonal in the end, but we are all programmed to make it personal.
  4. Start with hard boiled eggs sliced up into a salad. Eggs contain basically everything deficient in a vegan diet besides zinc and perhaps iron. In Germany's Weimar republic I read they had a system where the political parties got power based on the percentage of the total vote, rather than getting all of the win just by getting a majority vote. That seems like a system that could work in theory. It would give smaller parties more of a say rather than the two sided oligarchy we have now. It's not happening any time soon though. Play by the rules of the game you are given. Life isn't terrible in the West. It could be better, it could be worse. No perfect system to manage human nature. The rise of modern monetary theory, quantitative easing, and "crony capitalism" with "too big to fail" and "bail out everything" mentality in my opinion is a negative. It encourages reckless speculation and then bails out the speculators.

Modern monetary theory and perpetual low interest rates pushing consumption and speculative behavior naturally drives wealth up to the top 10% because they take more risks and the loose monetary policy drives asset bubbles giving them greater rewards. They then use this wealth to buy up assets pricing them out of affordability for those in the middle. Thus the phrase, "the top and bottom suck from the middle." Our capitalist system doesn't have enough checks and balances to prevent speculators and scammers from using loopholes built into the system for their own benefit, namely bankruptcy laws, using multiple LLC's, tax writeoffs, bankruptcy laws, charities being run by their donors, private equity doing leveraged buyouts, running companies into the ground while running taking the money and running, etc. If we could get more laws into place keeping people honest, the system would work better. I believe individuals shouldn't be able to use corporate entities to shield their assets, that a person's bad behavior should directly affect their own net worth. Run a company into the ground, your entire net worth gets confiscated. Private equity has become a parasite within the system.

  8. I don't believe in absolutes. Longevity research has led me to the conclusion that total exclusion of meat and dairy is detrimental. A person could probably be totally vegan and only eat eggs (and their yolks) and be perfectly fine. I hard boil them using an egg cooker and then slice them up with an egg slicer. The choline and B Vitamins are basically taken care of by eating eggs and their yolks. You can eat 3 eggs per day, everything else being vegan, and it will solve almost all the problems with being vegan. My favorite thing to do is make egg salads out of them with frozen peas, pickle relish, cream of mushroom soup, mayo, italian seasoning, mustard, and potassium salt or 50/50 salt.   9. All vegans really need to do is add eggs to their diet and it would solve most of their deficiencies, namely B Vitamins and Choline. Get "certified humane" eggs if you can, because the animals are treated better. That and Greek Yogurt for high quality complete protein go a long ways, and I have to tell you, milled flaxseed tastes so damn good in greek yogurt. I also mix my glycine in it. I only eat steaks and burgers when I'm out with friends or family. For protein powder, I pretty much use Orgain exclusively, because I like the taste and consistency when mixed in water and can pour it in cereal without having to use any type of milk, rather just use water. I also consume pork rinds (for collagen) with oysters (for protein, zinc, and because I like the taste) Anti-aging diet combined with zone 2/5 cardio and some lifting. I honestly don't even crave western processed foods anymore.

  11. All of them, except Sanguine. Ideally a healthy, balanced person should have a mixture of different traits. Sanguine is important, probably the most important trait. Of course, someone who lacks a trait they want will tend to inflate it's level of importance.
  12. Women have dozens of mens trying to get their attention at any given time. Don't get so caught up on trying to get the attention of a single woman, obsessing over her, getting a "crush" on her, and just cast your fishing pole over and over until something bites. Young women are attracted to confidence and playfulness. A lot of men are too serious or never developed the ability to playfully tease in a way that turns women on. That is their biggest handicap. Being serious and responsible are not really traits that get a woman into the bedroom, at least not without nailing the ability to cultivate "chemistry" through playfulness and storytelling. This handicap will limit you, but you can still find women who are into more serious, boring guys... it's just harder. I do find the advice to "be yourself" obvious doesn't work for everyone. It's rather bad advice. Better advice would be to "remake yourself" over time into the type of person people want to be around.

My father has this cognitive dissonance where he will tell me I need to stop being so cheap and open up my wallet more when it comes to entertainment (eating out, vacations) such as spending $130 during a single night to eat at a restaurant multiple times per month, but then he'll shower at the gym so he can save $5-10/month on water and electricity, always saying that it's "free" to shower somewhere else. He's always had this complex about keeping the thermostat too high in the winter, lol, which enough men have that family guy made a meme out of it. I suppose we all have these personality quarks and it's easier to see them in others than ourselves. I'd rather take nice long showers at home and cook my own meals. I save more money in the end. Cheap is an ego program, just like blowing money to live in the moment because you can't take it with you is an ego program. Relationships are about two egos learning to grow together, and hopefully each ego can be somewhat flexible to the needs of the other, to come to a healthy balance. If not, maybe the relationship needs to be ended. The trick is self awareness and willingness to change. Inflexibility is a relationship killer in my opinion, unless a woman is willing to submit to the man's frame and have no mind of her own (or vice versa) , which I suppose can work. That said, a sticking point of mine is when women expect men to be mind readers. If something's on your mind that bothers you with your man, tell him point blank. Don't expect him to "just know" and then resent him when he doesn't. Men's brains are wired to see a problem and then fix it, but they often don't have the intuitive awareness to just "know" there is a problem. He asked you if you needed help. You said no, and then resent him for not helping. Sigh. My biggest growth comes from when other men call me out on my bullshit so I can change. If I'm not called out on it, I'm not going to be able to change that easily because it's hard to see one's own flaws sometimes. As a man, I NEED that honest feedback. Sometimes I'll stomp around for a while when I'm called out, but when I realize I'm in the wrong I'll adjust accordingly, and am better off in the end for the candid feedback. Of course not all men are able to take their egos getting bruised and grow from the experience. Those are the ones you break up with.

Frankly I was hoping they'd have unveiled their classified antigravity technology by now and we'd be routinely flying around the solar system not worrying about using primitive rockets and jet fuel to get around. If we really had this technology it would be too financially lucrative to have it hidden in classified installations. It makes me question my previous beliefs that aliens have visited and we have all this classified technology hidden away. Humans love to tell stories. Humans will blatantly make up stories, totally fabricated, and pass them as truth, often to just make money selling content. Some of the most successful people in society are some of the biggest storytellers. Doesn't matter if they are true.. they just need to stimulate the imagination and emotions of the masses. X-Files was my favorite TV series in my youth. Aliens have intervened to stop nuclear wars? Says who? Probably some person who just decided to make it up. I may sound negative, and perhaps being a realist is just an excuse to be negative, lol. Better to be positive and playful and enjoy a good story.

David Hawkins bring up your question in his books, talking about how he cancelled various diseases by changing his mind about them, and enjoying foods he loved again by cancelling belief systems about those foods being "bad" and the like. His books "healing and recovery" and "letting go" mention this. You really have to believe it though... fake it until you make it. Internalize it. To me the biggest "toxin" in people's lives in my opinion is too much ego. That's not to say you should roll over and accept authoritarian rule, but getting distracted with things like being an anti-vaccer, or obsessing over "toxins" in the diet, especially chemicals approved as safe by reputable government agencies in multiple countries.. you end up chaining yourself down with all these "beliefs" ... even fighting for "causes" like wanting to force a vegan diet on everyone... these "should" statements about how reality "should be" and then it upsets you because you see the world as "evil" ... this is all a mental construct... it's giving away one's internal authority to external circumstances. It's robs one of their peace of mind... this idea that "if only X was true, then the world would be good, and I would be happy" .... no you wouldn't. Your ego would find a new cause to latch onto and repeat the cycle. So break the cycle...
  16. You look really good. Congrats on the improvements! Tretinoin bought overseas in pharmacies is the gold standard for those as they get older than you looking to reduce wrinkles. However, you're doing it better. Diet and lifestyle trump chemical band-aids for sure. The number one anti-aging supplement I would add aside from having ample choline intake is glycine (most important component of collagen)
  17. You don't need to use expensive sunscreens. Zinc Oxide sunscreens are fine if you don't mind leaving white residue everywhere. I find they last longer and take water better than chemical sunscreens. They can also be used to deodorize shoes and as underarm deodorant in a pinch. I pick them up end of season when stores clearance them often for under a buck a bottle. If you want to buy a chemical based sunscreen in the US, just pick up a large tub of generic Wal-mart brand. Spending more on fancy products is not required.   18. The water needs to roll into a ball but not break into pieces... if it breaks into pieces the pan is too hot. That said, I use good quality Teflon most of the time. I've come to learn that there's lots of conspiracies revolving around GMOs, synthetics, chemicals, or anything manmade, that people think they are all bad. Teflon as it's manufactured today (without PFOAs) is relatively harmless. If you think the right are silly for believing vaccines are clotting up the body, well to my perception it's equally silly to avoid chemicals approved by major governments around the world proven safe because of internet conspiracy theories. Generally our government agencies are not trying to kill us, though some would believe otherwise. What you shouldn't do with Teflon is allow it to preheat bare on a stove getting above 500 degrees F, because it will ruin it.

Make sure you get enough sleep and your diet includes enough magnesium, B12, zinc, and choline (great to see someone else mention it) ... the number one problem of a vegan diet is choline deficiency. Taking up eating hard boiled eggs would make a massive difference to most vegans (certified humane of course)... I use an egg slicer to make them into egg salads. Sometimes feelings of irritation, annoyance, and discomfort are simply programmed into the brain. I try not to let these feelings control me, but simply observe them mindfully as I control my thoughts and gradually, over time, reprogram my responses to simuli. It is working... though maybe you are just getting older.

  21. Perfectionism breeds a control freak style micromanagement mentality that conflicts with what personal development is truly about... peace of mind and radical acceptance of the present moment. It's okay to strive for things for yourself as part of your growth process to climb Maslow's Hierarchy of needs, as long as you don't equate that with thinking everyone else should have to or forced to be like you, like vegans tend to do when they turn their diet into a religion. My father is guilty of this with his obsession over diet and order in general. He finds some new truth he then latches onto and thinks is right and then wants to spread it around to everyone else. I mean, I get it, but after a point you have to let people find their own truth. Plus, how does he even know his truth is the right one? I'm constantly self checking my own BS but that's a hard skill to learn. Nevermind there's no reason whatsoever to wash your hands when touching something someone else touched. I would call this obsessive compulsive disorder. You should unlearn these habits by being a slob on purpose and find a balance for yourself. There's a certain wisdom to this... right now we have lots of genetically inferior members of the general population you might dub "useless eaters" that end up being a parasitic burden to the system. It can be argued it's compassionate to try to "save everyone" but the fact is the laws of nature and evolution itself are savage and don't include these human inspired values. That said, nazi ideology didn't arise from any ideology of racial superiority, it mostly arose as a result of how Germany was treated after world war one. Read Hitler's book Mein Kampf, then read the book 1984. Understand the autocratic mindset. In the end it's about control for the sake of control. Maintaining repressive regimes requires it. Hitler's Nazi Germany was just another variation on a general theme... use of propaganda as a tool to manipulate and mold history to the way the regime wants people to perceive it. People like to call autocratic regimes "far right" but the truth is these terms "right" and "left" really have little meaning in historical context. Both extremes are capable of autocratic belief systems. All it takes is a big enough victim complex and a desire for revenge along with charismatic leadership. Those elements combined with enough supporters of your ideology, brute force, and some luck, is all it takes.
  24. Personal development 101. Many of the normies around me lead happy lives just through being raised with a positive attitude. If you have that, it's all you really need. With that anything can be achieved. Mindset is everything. Too many stage greens are stuck in this "world is evil, capitalists are awful, so many injustices" victim mindset that sabotages their true potential. Nature is amoral. Evolution is amoral. True power comes from embracing the hardship and pushing forward in spite of it. Even if the world, life, evolution, are objectively not "fair" (which they clearly aren't) it doesn't do any good to dwell on it and get into a negative thought/emotion loop over it.
  25. Generally healthy, as long as one can maintain a caloric deficit or neutral state without gaining weight eating the said food. Oats are fine, oatmeal cookies could make you fat. Legumes are great, but too many burritos could pack on the pounds. Dr Greger has a "divide by 5" rule in which the carb you consume should be at least 20% dietary fiber as a percentage of total carbohydrates. Generally a good rule to follow. Oats have the highest glycemic index of the aforementioned items. Good for mixing milled flaxseed, frozen blueberries, ceylon cinnamon, potassium salt, and protein powder into for a nice, healthy breakfast especially after lifting. Throw in 7.5 grams of glycine and 1-2 grams of Taurine as well.
