  1. im struggeling latly to construct a daily practice. i see so much information that i dont know what to do. so i though about making this thread so people like me could find the practice that fits for them
  2. i think that ego is not a mistake. from an evolution point of view, you need an ego to survive, but when you got high enough intelligent, you dont need it.
  3. patanjali talks about three type of breathing Techniques to stop thoughts. stopping alittle bit the breath suddenly,stopping alittle bit the breath after inhealing, stopping alittle bit the breath after exhaling. i have experimented with it for 24 hours, it is pretty good, it is happening almost automaticly , when you stop your breathing you get alert and conscious, you have almost no thoughts . for now the practice is pretty good, i dont get dizzy as i thought , my body dont opposed for the sudden stops. after 10 minutes your body starts to do this automaticly and get the oxygen it needs. his forth type is the type that the buddha used, follow your breath, which is pretty difficult to mantain, dont come automatic for me. someone use this techniques? what your thoughs about it?
  4. leo talks about changing your psycology which it works (for me for some extened), but can you make a radical change in your sexuality? i can make myself like different parts in a woman, different types, and so on if i really want to, but i cant make myself like a man, it is impossible. do you think it possible? does a preference have like core unchangable properties?
  5. from my experience, dont get to conclution too fast, take your time, read and listen alot about those substensese and read about yoga . it took me like 3 month to understand what happend to me. it is very tricky
  6. i had experienced suicide thoughts on my trip, it happends because your awarness get bigger and you understand how unimportant you are in the world , you always think that you are the best and important but the reality is that u are nothing. if you are nothing you think that you are worthless and it is better to kill yourself because of social norms. at least it happened for me because of that reason... you are just dealing with reality, nothing bad happened. it is actualy you key to develop yourself
  7. what is better? i am really struggeling to do sitting meditation, my back is uncomfurtable , always reposition myself so i cant go deep. but in laying meditation, it is easy to go deep. should i try to work on my sitting meditation or keep the laying one?
  8. umm i cant agree with you, when i first saw it , it looked stupied , i just gave it a chance and followed the instructions.
  9. i have tried today osho kundalini meditation, i feel so good right now , i did it before 4 hours and it still effects me !!! what your favorite meditation of his? should i continue to do this type of meditation? should i try another one ?
  10. ummmmm kundalini took all of my energies so i think this is better for now. should i do it 21 days and move to another one?
  11. im pretty much struggle with this posture, not because i am not flexible , but because i dont know how to make this whithout hurting my knees. i dont know if i dont do it right or something this my legs strainge.
  12. im live in israel so it is pretty easy to learn judaism here. but does it worth it ? it is better than learning about eastern religion and practices? i will get some gain in my progress or just some more material?

  15. ummmm i dont say that it doesnt have any truth, i asking if it will get me faster spiritually than eastern religions... depends from where you are, what school you go to, family , in secular schools we learn but in like dumb way of teaching religion not in the way it should be. i know little bit of bible because we need to learn it but you dont have any context so you dont get the juice of it. i have jewish blood.
  16. why no one talk about it. mostly my spine is hurting... i usualy maditating lying down on my bed, i cant fall asleep while my back on the bed so i dont fall asleep.

  18. but i get awakened from a technique or information the road is just come across of random stuff and then get enlighenment? what kind of hatha yoga you do? can you give me your practice?
  19. i have had alot of awakaning experiences daily and anxiety, now i dont have any anxiety anymore because i see life like a movie but in a good way. i know to deal with my thoughts i think i am ready

  22. how to not get those mental illnesses? i tried to open it , i think i opened it like for couple of minutes, everything was the same but different, like the same but in a way i never been see it before, magical and intresting.

Not wanting to explore issues deeply or solve problems at their root." right , but still, there are quick fixes, you just cant predict them . listening to your ego. to be afraid from the truth to be afraid from the loneliness in this journy letting any life event to make you quit or stop the prosses, you can find your way to anywhere

  25. for some extend because i follow his for 2 or 3 month , but i can get really big changes with this short time because i use all of my time for personal development. i have kissed a man before two years, i felt nothing. i had no shame with it and it was a time when i was hanging out with some lgbt friends
