  1. @Jack River What's the last thing you were doing before being? Assuming time has the order you believe it has, or time exists? Also, why answer a question?
  2. @Nadosa While it's happening, I would suggest as soon as you can to stay in the "i" not the sensations (sorry Nahm b/c I think your practical advice is wicked and I appreciate you). If you lose that during the attack, don't worry because there's nothing spiritual, existential or infinite about it and really act as though you believe that (you should tell/think yourself that habitually to prepare yourself for the panic attack). Just enter that iSpace again whenever the monkey mind returns to you that banana bundle.
  3. @winterknight What is of everything that should use no thinking?
  4. @Outer I didn't read a whole lot of that site (part of the front page) but in my experience, this occurs often in the mind: Thinker and Experiencer vs. Doer
  5. Who teaches that impermanence is so bad? What if everything is impermanent? No nirvana, no eternal suffering, no grounds for permanence.. So what? We're still here now, and you still have existence. You wouldn't be able to think it is bad or stressful, otherwise.
  6. Not only this but you may be able to use it for a perspective/choice to simplify your life? Maybe at times. Your habits? Maybe. Your present? Maybe. You?
  7. @winterknight So pick whatever one believes seems preferable, et al.? Sorry but that's what I got from your symbols, lol.
  8. @graded24 Not to mention, if the enlightened is witnessing self/consciousness/ourselves, then what are we but all the same one? So who is teaching? Intriguing. The no self deal has so far been too complicated, and it would be cool if someone could simplify it to a more "democratic level". I don't think I'm qualified to do that.
  9. @Hellspeed The link is the other category. An example is how scientists are trying to reconcile/link physical and quantum processes.
  10. That's not pacifism....that's everything. To you it is symbols on a website, or not everything. Unless you're myself. So how can anyone teach anything? I think theys are talking to themselves! And yeah, I would've had a hard time really believing that if it were on a less similar venue. But I would like to add, in spite of all the above par.'s: Is that important to You? Is that the missing infos? Or do you need something more? ...(And by more I mean less, for the lessone.)
  11. But if you came from conflict, how can you now be free of it? Or those that came from no conflict, what is becoming of them, according to self? There must be another category or more, besides these two.
  12. You never met at all? If she stopped contacting you, it could be for so many reasons. I feel you are overcomplicating her by making her into a believable/desirable story. People are constantly overcomplicating things I have noticed, but if they could stop (not start) focusing on these complicated, often negative events, real or exagerrated, I believe it would help the situation tremendously. Sure, those things will continue to happen, but why contribute and make it worse? I ask this man-to-man, not man-to-universe.
  13. Maybe one should do the simple things. Instead of trying to achieve any perfection: which by definition is inconceivable.
  14. @Mikael89 Does seem like a smooth move, considering that when the enlightenment "option" (or ?) is revealed, nobody is conscious of wtf that is.
  15. @Mikael89 A true nature can't, by its definition, be impermanent. Maybe to be your true nature means to remove the you that is other than the unchanging.
  16. The water and the jug were not mutually inclusive. They changed the general state. You could not have, at first, changed one without the dependence of another, however, in this story.
  17. @SageModeAustinI personally never moved on by an ignoring or actively refusing to totally process to any extent a part of myself that felt painful and like was suffering. What I'm saying is, how did you fk up exactly?
  18. Thanks again! That is ok, I was not referring to enlightenment, but instead, the general state.
  19. You mean because there's nothing 'cept consciousness?
  20. Then how would you tell if illusion is not still in you (thereby manipulating the perception/you to think it has had an enlightenment) A paradox?
  21. Is it possible there is triality present in an enlightened? The duality interacting with a some "One"? (Regardless of whether one or more of these is illusion). What is illusion, and what relation does it/them have with nothingness? Thank you
  22. @KelliCooper Ironically, the appearance to the unenlightened is there are things that cannot change. But they try to modify it, or later on, themselves(because of course they can change themselves), by some external tool under the theory of a relative or net benefit in doing so. Like Psyche_92 seems to be suggesting, those things are all being mistaken for something playing the role as themself. (That makes sense, lol)
  23. @KelliCooper What about dropping attachment to emotional baggage via meditation, breathwork, etc.?
