A nice primer on the history of Sufism:

And this takes you straight into the highest truth that I teach:

"The world is illusory: it has no real existence. This is what is meant by 'imagination' (khayal). You have been made to imagine that the world is something separate and independently real, outside of the Absolute. But in reality it is not so."

A very good primer on depression:

Life is journey from selfishness to selflessness.

You are dragged kicking and screaming.

The more you resist, the more it hurts.

So... I was watching some porn when I look at the tattoo on the chick's shoulder and it says: God is Love.

And I just smile.

This video perfectly encapsulates the hollowness of a Spiral Dynamics Stage Orange materialistic life:

You can just see this poor billionaire is desperately seeking happiness but has no clue that everything he's trying can't possibly work.

In my episode What Is Integrity I promised to release a follow-up episode the next week about How To Develop Integrity.

Why was that 2nd episode not released, you may wonder.

Because as I started developing it I realized that to stay in integrity, I need to spend more time gathering my thoughts about such an important topic. I wasn't ready to talk about it yet without doing some more inner work on myself. I released that I would be out of integrity if I published a half-baked episode. So I decided that it is better to delay than to publish something I was not satisfied with.

Now, you might say, "But Leo, you promised to release it last week, so doesn't that mean you broke your promise and violated your integrity? Aren't you a hypocrite?"

To which the answer is: Integrity is a tricky thing. Integrity is of course relativistic. What I consider to be integrity for me is not what you might consider to be integrity for me. You might think that for Leo integrity is releasing videos on a consistent weekly schedule. And earlier in my life I also bought into that version of integrity. But later I realized that I genuinely don't care about that. I care about quality. So for me, the higher integrity is not compromising on quality and only releasing videos that I am satisfied with, even if that means releasing them less consistently. So as you can see, integrity is not so simple as adhering to social expectations or even own words. And that will be an important lesson that I will teach you in the How To Develop Integrity episode once it is released. A key lesson for developing integrity is that you first have to figure out what integrity means for you, because you can optimize your life and your work towards various values, many of them inauthentic. If you are not clear what your values are then you will struggle to develop integrity. Integrity is not about adhering to social norms and expectations, it is about adhering to your own highest values. This requires getting crystal clear about your values and priorities, otherwise you will act like you are being integrous when in fact you are not living up to your highest self. Paradoxically, sometimes breaking your own word can be more integrous than sticking to it. Of course, the ego can also use this excuse to rationalize away its own hypocrisy, so you gotta be careful not to fool yourself.

But what I'm pretty confident about is that for me integrity means higher quality teachings rather than a timely publishing schedule. Whenever I rush to publish a video, I feel dirty inside because I know the video would have been better if I didn't have to rush it. Which is why it's a bad idea for me to promise any kind of specific publishing times or schedules. It will release when I feel it is ready.
