What does it mean for a woman  to have strong personal boundaries when it comes to dating men?

Hi, 

In a psychological sense having strong personal boundaries means being clear on what your preferences and values are, what behaviours you will and won't accept from yourself and others, and being able to effectively communicate all of this without crossing another's personal boundary (hurting them) if they happen to cross a line.

Personal boundaries can only really be communicated through assertiveness.  If we try to use passive aggressiveness we, by default, violate our own and other people's boundaries.
