Artificial intelligence and its impact on spiritual enlightenment

Artificial intelligence fascinates and scares me at the same time. I am recently asking myself how much influence technology might have on men's ability to experience Truth. Thinking about the integration of smart systems in the human body and their impacts on practices like self-inquiry and meditation (negative or positive ones). Considering the fact that thoughts can already be measured and influenced and implemented body scanning microchips are already a reality. 

Also, might AI be able to experience oneness at some point?
