Parents Deaths: Should They Influence My Life Porpouse Decisions Or Not?

The request for this video is to clarify if the death of a parent in adolescence should or not influence my porpouse of life. 

The continous thoughts of him/her are a good discriminant in making a bold life changing? How do I cope with a loss of a parent? How could it influence my future family? Get over a loss of a parents what implies? Should the son remeber his parent every day in his carrere? Does someone change drastically after the death of a parent? If so, how can I feel that I am changed? Is it possible to turn back to my "old" life? How should I deal with others on my grief: totally open with my emotions or more introspective and shy?
