Net neutrality to be gone in the US, what are your opinions?

1 post in this topic

On 22nd november it was the declared by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that all regulations regarding net neutrality would be lifted on 7th december , thus allowing the internet providers in USA to give internetusers different access to different content on the internet. This will mean that these companies could in theory "thruttle" certain sites, such as Actualized.org, this will mean slowing down internet speed on the site. Or in worst case block it all together.

What are your thoughts about this?

What do you think the remifications would be for people, in USA and other places?

If you want to tell: What are you going to do about it before and after it happens?

Stay calm and don't panic.
