Google Drive + Notion Hybrid-Tracking System

1 post in this topic

This is my second entry of the actualized.org journal. I've come to the conclusion that keepin a regular entry through this medium is a great way to practice writing and develop it through writing over time. My  english teacher also gave me very positive feedback on my writing ability after writing an english article for class. This really boosted my overall writing self-confidence and encouraged me to pursue my writing development more, and here i am.

So to begin, this day was interesting. I started by going to school and realized that we actually were supposed to be studying remote today, however i made the best of the situation and spent my time doing something that was naturally inspired through me you could say. I didn't use my reason faucalty and strategize my way in to my activity, but rather it just came out of me organically.

Now you might wonder what this activity was. So to break it down it was designing a tracking-system which consists of a map in google drive where i store all things i want to track combined with an SOP called 'accounting' which i loosely define as the activity of tracking my things to track. Let me spill some sauce aswell and tell you that i have all my SOPs organized in database in Notion and the database called Standard Operating Procedures for further organizational purposes and more structure to the system. Maybe this is a newbie system but i feel great about it, and it fits perfectly into my life and my autistically inclined brain.

Drawing upon the spirit and content of Leo's infrastructure for success video, i consider this a very practical and leveraging infrastructure i recognize will have great utility for me and my future. My tracking-system is also a iterative system, meaning that i aim to develop and 'perfect' it over time aswell without being overly perfectionistic and expectant of it from the get go.

I feel myself naturally motivated and inclined to use this system already right now in my life due to the appealing and simple nature of the system, kind of like Apple's technology. The same 'spirit' penetrates both examples.

I also noticed a shift in my self-confidence from feeling myself as a lonely loser accidentally attending school when i wasn't supposed to be there, to when i 'transmuted' the situation into a positive or win i felt better about myself. If i am to include some psychological significance to my day.
