It is GGs for this society man, in so many different ways. Regardless of the scenario, I don't really like any outcome

I don't like most people as well, which kinda closely ties to the previous statement. If you're reading this, chances are I don't like you lol

Indeed, there is something to be said about our efforts to optimize everything and remove as much negativity from life as possible. The book sounds worth a read or two as well.

Perhaps in our efforts to eliminate as much material misery as possible, we have swung (and will continue swinging) too far in the other direction. Thing is, it's actually hard to estimate what an ideal kind of life is, in terms of balance between misery and pleasure, even in the confines of an individual life; so collectively, the pendulum will always keep swinging too far in one direction

Kinda wild to think about, but it makes sense; plants really, actually do want to survive. I guess the confusion arrives from the fact that they are such slow, stationary, passive life forms that it's easy to assume they just don't care, but they actually do

I mean, in no way do I think this response of theirs is comparable to animals, but still, even if exaggerated, the fact that they have a response to such a subtle cues is still pretty wild

It's crazy work that even a wagie cagie such as myself has managed to amass such a lucrative amount of liquid net worth for my age bracket. I rank probably like 60-75 percentile and I don't even count poor places of this planet, literaly just Global North. Lmao even with my puny second world cash flow, throught the sheer power of absolutely zero life and indestructable frugality, I am still better off than most American wagies who are making incomparably larger salaries

I will try to make retirement money as fast as possible, it is one of my main goals. In addition to maxxing out my education/knowledge, and others. But in the hierarchy of importance, money is the most important; everything else can go to hell, if I make that money everyone can suck me off

Bro what's up with these white people on college campuses just legit giving away money to blacks, literaly on command like a dog lmfao. I've seen multiple different clips like this so it must not be so accidental. But they are still studying, probably paying off student loans and shit, and somehow they still manage to contribute their measly pocket money. Someone's ought to turn this into a business if these wokes keep being this crazy lmao or design an app to syphon their money. For simps it's Onlyfans, for these folks the app would probably called Onlyguilt lol shit's crazy bro. These people are not right in heads

The whole appeal behind Bitcoin, Ethereum and all the other cryptocurrencies is a hope that they'll replace the traditional financial system and currencies. Their increase 10-20x (in case of Bitcoin) in value is literaly dependent on a dollar completely collapsing. And I'm just not buying that shit. Aint no way elites, goverments etc. want the dollar to collapse and get replaced by an untraceable, decentralized currency. Regular people also do not posses any crypto, they aren't investing into it. There may be a lot of news about goverments and influental people adopting crypto, but I'm just not buying that shit

I think the main reasons why I just can't be bothered to put in any effort to make money is the following:

1. I'm just naturally laid back and don't want shit, my wants are very elementary and simple; thus I fundamentally lack the motivation to develop grit, discipline, focus, whatever the case may be, to get shit done.

2. Let's say I was working really hard to acquire skills, attempting whatever way I've chosen to make money, and then, hypothethically, someone gave me a million dollars, or however much money I'd need to retire. If that happened, I would just instantly stop all these efforts

3. Relates to points number 2 and 1; my lifestyle after making those money would be roughly the same as before making that money, I'd just have much more free time to do the shit I want, but that's about it. It'd only be a marginal difference considering the amount of work I'd have to put in, and the luck I'd need to have.

4. On a big picture, this whole shit is a joke, money, financial system, human nature and the way humans operate, everything. Doesn't make me subscribe to socialism, communism or any shit like that and I can rationally understand why capitalism exists and that it is logical that it exists the way it does. But like I said, zooming out even further all that shit is a joke

Like, I don't care very much about providing "value" to others, or looking for and fixing problems, etc. I don't know why that is, it's actually kind of a bad mindset in a way, not gonna pretend it isn't, but it's just something about society man. I just look at all these b1tch3s and ninjas sometimes and observe them, and for some reason I be like "nah, I'm good".
