I want to create a stockpile of examples of all the ways social media has been exploited, polluted and warped by cultural and societal programming . Examples of how people get duped and exploited by social media influencers and content creators and bullshit in general 

Whatever examples you think are stark and also tie into how humans are conformist sheep that don't think for themselves, Share them.

One example is YouTube comments specifically. Notice what gets the most clicks, replies, the YouTube comments section is a giant cesspool of epistemic garbage that everyone swims in. There are literally eco worlds and eco chambers you can go through just on comments there.

Share specific examples, ones that put out bullshit on display to observe and deconstruct. What are all the ways we abuse and corrupt social media in the ways we use it?
