Ramana Maharshi’s Eka jiva Vada

1 post in this topic

Eka Jīva Vāda is a specific approach (prakriya) used to explain the ultimate non-dual (Advaita) reality. It asserts that only one individual soul (Jīva) is truly veiled by ignorance (avidyā), and all other jīvas, the entire perceived universe, and even the appearance of Iśvara (God/Creator) are merely projections or appearances within the mind of that single, fundamental Jīva. This is a form of metaphysical solipsism, Key difference is you also do not exist you are just as much as an illusion as everything and everyone.

The final teaching is:

Ajāti Vāda

Ajāti Vāda (अजातिवाद) literally means the Doctrine of No Birth or No Creation.

Core Tenet: It asserts that absolutely nothing—not the world, not the individual soul (Jīva), and not even the appearance of Iśvara (God as Creator)—has ever been truly created or born. Only Brahman, the non-dual Reality, eternally exists.

Also I am curious there’s no explanation of why the dream or experience is happening to begin with. And one last thing I see sometimes people quote Ramana as non solipsistic yeah right… He was lol only difference is you basically don’t exist either. Happy dreaming :D
