Every State Is Absolute Truth

I’ve spent years contemplating and exploring to come to these insights, so I appreciate all feedback and reflections.

Please note that I used GPT to help structure a small part of this post, don’t mistake that for sourcing the insights. All insights expressed here are entirely my own, writing 80% mine.

There was a time I believed “no self” was the final truth, that once you saw through the ego, you were free, later I had my love awakening which appears to have contributed to my most recent realisation where something deeper clicked. I have heard Leo say this so many times and thought I got it but it didn’t register until yesterday, after reading Leo’s comments;

Notice; reading his comments will not do it’s justice, I had watched “State Of Consciousness Is Everything” video probably 10 times without getting it.

Ego is a state, No-self is a state, my father, witness, unity…all states of consciousness.

And each one feels completely real while you’re in it.

Here’s the key insight;

Each state is absolutely true within itself.  Not relatively true. But fully, existentially true.

And the whole idea of “absolute vs. relative truth” is illusion because it implies there’s something outside what is (Truth) to compare it to. But there isn’t.

There’s only ever what is and what is, is absolute truth.

Absolute Truth; “That which is true under all circumstances”… but there are no “all circumstances” it’s just this, everything else is a fantasy. Truth doesn’t override states, it IS state.

When you’re in ego, the character is real.

When you’re in no-self, the character is a dream.

Neither is more valid…they’re real from within the state you’re in. Not only that, they are the only thing that exists in that moment.

And because there’s nothing outside the state to compare it to, it’s not just real, it’s absolutely true.

This is where confusion starts to creep in. When you say “the self is just a concept,” that’s only true from a state where the self has already dissolved. If you’re not in that state it isn’t.

And the same goes the other way; If you’re in ego, saying “I am this person” is absolutely true. Try to carry that belief into no-self, and it disintegrates.

Truth does not translate. It belongs to the reality that gave birth to it, Truth. What’s true in one doesn’t carry into the next, not because it’s wrong but because it no longer exists there….unless that state itself arises again. And thatis a different state.

This is also why “being between states “ Not quite ego, not quite dissolved can feel schizophrenic. But that too is a state. Not a glitch or malfunction, but truth itself. What would be so powerful to override absolute truth? Only Absolute Truth.

In this state people might gaslight you by saying “That’s not real” “You’re confused,” “You’ve lost your way.” but yet again, they’re just speaking from their state and assuming it’s the only valid one.

Absolute truth is the one you’re directly experiencing now. Even the most profound teaching becomes hollow if it’s not alive in your current state of being. Trying to adopt someone else’s truth when you’re not there often causes conflict, which is its own state of course.

This in a way challenges most of modern spirituality. Not because it’s wrong, but because it’s state-bound. There’s no final awakening.

Even the most “enlightened” teacher is speaking from their state…..and if you’re not in that state, it’s not Truth. Not because you’re missing something, but because you’re in a “different part of the dream”.

Disclaimer;

I’m not denying that spirituality can expand your consciousness or lead to altered states. I’m only saying that those states don’t hold exclusive ownership of truth.

I’m not claiming you can skip the work.

If you don’t inquire, confront, and explore deeply, you may never realize truth. Reading these words does not replace the depth of direct realization.

A state of consciousness before realizing truth, and the one after, may appear similar but they are not the same.

And lastly….truth does not have to equal functional in human terms. Example; schizophrenic state doesn’t mean you’ll live a good human life just because it’s truth.
