I have a question for Leo gura. Do you sense you are more disillusioned with reality, as far as seeking, Maya, enlightenment, philosophy, success, culture, mainstream media, society at large and human behavior, as well as new agers, healers and fringe ideas. Are you more closed minded and or cynical or is it that you have a heightened ability to sus out bullshit which can appear cynical and closed minded but it's really you got your head out of the dump and can really see what is gold and what isn't, therefore others misinterpret your wisdom and project all there criticism and disillusions onto you? My question also is in another form, how can I apply your teachings of radical open-mindedness when you reach such high, deep states of consciousness.

It seems like you're asking about Leo Gura's potential evolution in perspective regarding disillusionment, open-mindedness, and his approach to understanding reality. His teachings have often centered around the idea of being radically open-minded while at the same time discerning truth from illusion. From what I've gathered, Leo might approach this shift as a sort of fine-tuning of discernment, rather than closing off his mind.

In terms of the balance between seeing through illusion and maintaining open-mindedness, it’s possible that the deeper one goes into self-awareness, the more it becomes clear that many things in the world are illusions or distractions. However, this doesn’t necessarily lead to cynicism, as cynicism is often rooted in emotional reaction, while deeper states of consciousness might enable one to perceive things with more clarity—detached from emotional reactivity but still with compassion.

Leo often talks about being able to see through superficiality and the ego-driven tendencies of both mainstream society and spiritual movements. He teaches to cut through delusion, whether it’s in culture, new-age ideas, or even the ego-driven aspects of personal seeking. In this sense, he’s not necessarily becoming "closed-minded," but rather, he might be evolving into someone who is discerning, critical, and able to detect what is real versus what is fantasy.

As for applying radical open-mindedness at high levels of consciousness, it’s about not letting your perceptions and experiences become rigid or attached to any particular belief system, even if those beliefs seem very profound in the moment. Radical open-mindedness is a practice of always staying curious and willing to question your own perceptions, even when you are in deeper states. It’s more about realizing that no one perspective holds ultimate truth and that everything is relative, temporary, and part of a much larger unfolding process.

Leo’s teachings often point to the paradox that, while being in deep states of awareness, one must remain flexible and unattached, keeping an open mind even when things seem clear or "set in stone." This is what prevents you from getting caught up in your own mental constructs or from mistaking those constructs for ultimate truth.

This is obviously not you Leo I understand that, I just wanted to share this question I have for you 🙏🏽 do you agree with this response, I ask because after learning a lot through the book list and my peak experiences on psychedelics, especially seeing myself as Brahman, realizing time doesn't exist which gives me anxiety because 1 minute is eternity and haven listen and read a lot of great spiritual masters such as yourself, I find myself dismissing and not caring about new age candy, lots of books with shallow content of the dream. I don't want to close myself off from potential life changing routes because bullshit is everywhere. Thanks Leo if you read this, love you.
