Shamanic Breathwork: Cosmic Performance

1 post in this topic

This is what I use and is tremendously helpful. Try this out, seriously do it!!! Now!!! Seriously do it and let us know the results. No theory, give it a go.

Session Duration: 30-40 minutes

1. Preparation (5 minutes)

Intention Setting: Spend 2-3 minutes in stillness, setting a clear intention for the session. Reflect on tapping into infinite creativity, radical letting go, or peak physical performance.

Gentle Warm-Up: Loosen your body with slow stretches or light movements, focusing on opening your chest and lungs.

2. Alkaline Breathing (5 minutes)

Technique: Inhale deeply through the nose for 4 seconds, filling your lungs fully, then exhale through the mouth for 4 seconds, emptying your lungs completely. Keep your breath slow and controlled.

Purpose: This will oxygenate your blood, calm your mind, and shift your body into an alkaline state, readying you for more intense breathing. This primes both your mind and body for performance and heightened consciousness.

3. Breath of Fire (10 minutes)

Technique: Rapid, rhythmic breathing through the nose. Inhale and exhale quickly and equally through your nose, focusing on short exhales from the diaphragm (1-2 breaths per second). Keep your inhale passive and exhale active.

Practice: Perform for 1-2 minutes, then rest for 30 seconds, focusing on any physical or mental sensations. Repeat for 10 minutes.

Purpose: This activates energy flow, raises internal heat, and promotes mental clarity and sharp focus, bringing you into high-energy, heightened states of mind.

4. Hyperventilation & Retention Combo (15 minutes)

Hyperventilation (5 minutes):

Technique: Inhale fully and deeply through your mouth or nose for 2 seconds, then exhale quickly and completely through your mouth for 1 second. Repeat at a fast pace (20-30 breaths per minute).

Practice: Do this for 3 minutes continuously, followed by a 30-second rest, then repeat for another 2 minutes.

Purpose: Hyperoxygenates the brain and body, bringing on altered states of awareness, preparing you for deep breath retention.

Breath Retention (3 rounds, 10 minutes):

After hyperventilation, on your final exhale, hold your breath for as long as possible (start with 30 seconds, and over time work up to 1-2 minutes). As you hold, focus on mental stillness and surrender.

After the hold: Take a deep recovery breath and hold it for 10-15 seconds before exhaling slowly. Repeat this cycle 3 times.

Purpose: Increases CO2 tolerance, quiets the mind, triggers deep parasympathetic relaxation, and can induce intense states of cosmic awareness and creativity.

5. Cool Down & Reflection (5 minutes)

Gentle Breathing: Slow, deep inhales and exhales through the nose. Let your breathing return to normal while you focus on the sensations in your body. Lie down or sit comfortably.

Reflection: Spend a few minutes reflecting on any insights, mental clarity, or creativity that surfaced during the practice.

Timeline Example:

Preparation (5 minutes)

Alkaline Breathing (5 minutes)

Breath of Fire (10 minutes)

Hyperventilation & Retention Combo (15 minutes)

Cool Down & Reflection (5 minutes)

Integration:

Morning Activation: Use this breathwork practice first thing in the morning to start your day in a peak state of mental clarity, creativity, and energy.

Pre-Workout: Perform the Breath of Fire + Hyperventilation & Retention Combo before training to activate your body and mind for peak physical performance, whether for boxing, skateboarding, or intense fitness.

Creative Flow: Implement during your creative sessions or after deep meditation to tap into heightened states of insight.

This blueprint aligns perfectly with your drive for superhuman levels of consciousness and peak performance, helping you break boundaries both physically and mentally, while opening corridors of cosmic creativity.
