Ahh that explains a lot. I noticed a few women I share deep love with all journal and seem to express themselves well and balanced online. I feel men miss out on this a lot because most of what they do is in their minds or mental chatter online, which doesn't land or register the same as expressed physically by hand or movement. The energy sort of stagnates in the body and nervous system, rather than being released. Which is why i feel women are naturally so good at releasing and letting go, being very in tune with their ability to effectively feel and express emotions. I wrote a whole post on it but deleted it because it was probably in the very section of the forums everyone is doing the opposite. Journaling was never my thing, and I feel its the same for many men, but I found the last few years or so using or expressing energy via forms of dance, music, art ect.. seems to help a lot, and its kinda like journalling in a way, maybe even more profound in ways. I have a cat but he's a zen cat, doesn't like laps or pets, just a headbutt every now and then, and a belly full of his food, and his back at the door to venture the neighbourhood. Not bad, but problematic maybe, because its running at extreme speeds, very overstimulated by our modern lifestyles, it 'misses' all the subtle cues and notions that are vital to catching the deeper message being presented by life and deeper teachers / teachings. You will find, if you spend a week in a forest without any gadgets or stimulation devices, funks foods, music ect... that you will notice how the activity of the mind dramatically slows down, you pick up on things you could never pick up on before, because you were running too fast, there was too much "noise", drama, disturbance in the field, like a swarm of buzzing insects, so to speak. Boiling water is a great zen analogy, when the mind is busy its like boiling water, challenging to see through and clearly, when its calm, its like still water, easy to see through, clear, clarity, ah-ha ! peace... space, serenity, understanding.

Don't confuse non-dual speakers here, have the ear and patience of mind to listen deeply and read / feel between the lines. There is more to this that you seem to be missing because your minds are too active and reactive and already fixated on these ideas about these teachers / teachings. Not all teachers are the same, and not all people who speak about non-duality, are proper teachers, they are just as confused as everyone else. Meanwhile everyone else here, is an expert, but in reality, most are deeply flawed. Lets not bring Sadguru into this topic please. You don't have a single comment about your own life experience or wisdom, just pass on groundless knowledge from him. This is the very danger Osho spoke about with followers who blindly follow and don't know themselves deeply enough. I don't wanna get started with that nonsense. It depends on the person you are speaking to and the situation at hand. You don't tell a mother who recently lost her child that the child is an illusion and there is no-self. That is why there is intuition, timing, awareness, compassion, understanding. All these things come into play. These speakers aren't new, they've been refining themselves far longer than most, if not all of us who use these forums.

So much commotion, and whats with always posting the guru videos in comments and responses, and not knowing the truth or speaking from yourself, that only reveals your confusions further. @Charlie Jensen It seems something has prematurely triggered your 3rd eye wide open. Do you recall how you lived the few days prior to this experience to help pinpoint what may have triggered it? This often happens to people at festivals who do a lot of substances and we often have to help sober them up and help bring them back down to reality because they are energetically too scattered and need grounding more than opening. Sometimes we do hear voices and energies or entities that can appear helpful, and ultimately are expressions of our higher mind, so to speak. Here are some ways and patterns we observe differences between higher guidance and malevolent thoughts, forces, and distortions. Higher guidance will often have these traits. Respect your integrity and facilitate your own decision making. Humbly acknowledge a force greater than them. Say that many paths may lead to truth and expanded consciousness. Provide information specific to your situation. Offer you council that challenges you and causes you to overcome personal limitations. Serve those they can serve in a humble yet strong and dedicated way. Have good manners, treat you respectfully, and contact you in times and places that are comfortable to you. What higher guides don't do. Claim they know what is best for you. Arrogantly claim that they are the ultimate source of wisdom. Leave you feeling powerless and dependent. Say that there is only one path and that is their path. Speak in vague spiritual cliches that have little specific content. Flatter you and support you in negative emotional, mental and physical patterns. Try to create a following of themselves through you. Have bad manners, intrude you at awkward times, or abuse you in any way. Tell you that you are the only pure soul that can save the earth... Ect... These are some teachings passed onto me by an elder shaman who has helped me a lot. They understand this stuff well. There is also a book i once read that made a lot of sense to me as I too was said to me by Odette Nightsky called Bridge Between Worlds. It will help demystify a lot of the modern "disorders" modern medicine poorly understands and how native people and shamans have always usually had one term for them: visionaries, oracles, shamans ect... Those who are hyper-aware, empathetic and sensitive. They simply need more grounding and guidance, more time keeping feet on the earth and hands on the soil and less time online, doing substances or in the sky. Yeah I built my computer around 10 years ago for about $2000 and now these Macbook Pro (M series) are roughly 4x faster. Its only started to lagg a lot now and struggling in the RAM and CPU department. If i open many tabs on firefox it laggs a lot too lately.

These teachers are teaching and following the traditional and grounded advaita vedanta teachings, while most people online are rumoring around new-age neo-advaita like chinese whispers only confusing themselves further. This is why in ancient times or spiritual lineages there was always a guru or teacher for this reason, people online have no gurus or teachers, they have no respect first and foremost for them. So they are scattered all over the place. By eventually the rude awakening will catch up with them and life smacks us all in the face.
