  1. this is with anything, desire bends the lense of perception. For some its money, others attraction etc. Look into the allegory of plato's cave. There is a theory that plato actually practiced SR, and used attraction to beauty as a way to percieve true reality. It sounds crazy but tbh if you read in between the lines in the Phaedrus, it seems plausible.
  2. Hey guys, I'm thinking about taking a 1 day bootcamp w/ Owen Cook. Does anyone have any experience? I went to a free tour last June, and honestly at first I thought it was a scam, he was talking about alpha males and beta males, and the audience was kind of incely. However, as he kept talking, it felt like I took 0.5 grams of shrooms. I felt like his "frame control" was insanely strong, like my unconscious mind was attuning to his. I really can't tell if this is an over-optimized autist who's doing a grift or if he genuinely believes this is his purpose. I believe he worked with Ken Wilber before. I didn't do the bootcamp that night; however, the next 2 days, people were definitely treating me differently. I was unconsciously projecting my voice, and my vibe was a bit better. I'm almost 24, but I don't think I need help with pulling girls. I am more interested in the leadership, frame control, etc. Over the past couple of months I've been going to networking events, and it's starting to click why he does his weird stuff, like how loud he is, his vocal projection, and the amount of aggression he speaks with. I think his 1 day ones are 1k but honestly I can't really see an ROI with just a day. I feel like you'd probably need a week immersed in the environment. From 19 to 23, I went from slightly autistic, negative, and missing social cues to now being called charismatic regularly. Most through my own effort, however, I started watching his content like a year ago, and it's definitely sped up my process/paradigms.
  3. @Jodistrict I think dream analysis is so subjective. I've had a analysis using ChatGPT that sounded correct, then later realizing it meant something else. LLMs are optimized for making the user feel good, and sound as correct as possible. Which causes issues. There are personal symbols that are relevant to you, that isn't in the collective consiousness. (Cross = Christianity, collectivly understoond.... A cow could mean diff things in india vs germany... and then there a symbols that are personal to you) I'd still use the LLM for collective symbols but might ask the user what does "cows" mean to you. Also the effort of thinking about the dream and interperting it, creates a deeper relationship with the unconsious.
  4. @TheBG I've been awake in dreams, realized im dreaming. That level of thinking did not seem any more powerful than my day to day. I just let the plot of the dream go through. I guess I've never tried active animation while dreaming tho.
  5. Hey everyone, this is my first post. I’m a 23-year-old software engineer, and over the past couple of years I’ve gotten deeply interested in Jungian integration. Dream analysis seems like the best way to become aware of what your unconsious of. I'm thinking of building an Obsidian-style web app designed specifically for deep dream work. Instead of the AI just giving you a generic interpretation. I'm thinking of developing a system that maps the relationships between your dreams, recurring motifs, symbols, figures, and emotional tones. Features I am thinking about developing: A graph view connecting dreams to symbol clusters Tags for archetypes (shadow, anima, wise old man, trickster, etc.) Cross-links showing how certain themes appear across weeks or months A personal symbolic dictionary that evolves organically A visual web of your unconscious patterns over time Everything encrypted so that you can put senstive data Before I go deeper into development, I want to get feedback from people who actually care about this stuff. My Questions for the forum: Would you actually use something like this? What features would you want? Do you think the trade off of digitalizing dream work weaken the “connection” compared to handwritten journaling? If there’s interest, I’ll keep building it. If not, I’ll scale the scope accordingly.
