  1. Before I get too deep, can you relate to the notion of "awakening" to a realization of "simultaneity" on a grand scale? So grand that it becomes non-dual?
  2. Realizing simultaneity reveals both the underlying correspondences and the over arching principles which contribute past, present, and possible-future events. In other words, it cultivates a sharp intellect, like a whip.
  3. My contribution: 1) Intentional breathing: Observing the breath on its circuit. The breath follows the mind; the heart follows the breath. 2) Intentional perception: For the past 20+ years I practice intentionally "watching the world through a wide lens", for lack of better words. It's intentionally including the full extent of periphery eye-sight while walking and doing daily activities. 3) Rapid trance state: in the heat of the moment, if needed, a rapid trance state can be achieved within 2 or 3 breaths by closing the eyes and observing and probing deeper and deeper into the red, yellow, orange, and green little dots that naturally appear. ( the colors vary depending on circumstance ).
  4. The best way? The best way is if it's her idea. ... kiss the girl, then draw back. Look in her eyes. Soften yours. Then kiss her again. Repeat. The idea is, if the kissing is good then she'll wonder what else you're good at. Find one. Take her places that have opportunities to steal a little kiss. Then another. Nah. Creepy. You'll figure this out without asking directly. There are websites for that... Happy trails
  5. O Me! O Life! By Walt Whitman - "Leaves of Grass" (1892) Oh me! Oh life! of the questions of these recurring, Of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities fill’d with the foolish, Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?) Of eyes that vainly crave the light, of the objects mean, of the struggle ever renew’d, Of the poor results of all, of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me, Of the empty and useless years of the rest, with the rest me intertwined, The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here—that life exists and identity, That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.
  6. In general, if the interest is deferred the debt can be ignored for now. If not, the interest rate determines if and when to start chipping away at the debt. The last item on your list was a conscious-job. You currently have a job. Any glimmers there?
  7. The edge of infinity possesses all of infinity and more.
  8. Sure. Transcending spirit is physical manifestion.
  9. Are there glimmers of financial freedom, conscious job, and helping family in your life right now?
  10. What does happy-healthy-successful look like for you in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
  11. Try this? To complete any statement append either of these to the end of the statement: "or not" "and more" Examples: Consciousness is everything ... and more. All rivers flow back to the same source ... or not.
  12. "Completion" is counter intuitive when the scope is literally infinite. A permanent state of completion in this case would be consistently including forever and ever and always.
  13. "... like I'm really confronted by it ... " in contrast: " ... just being in the moment with zero or so low distractions ... " What you're describing sounds like a "psychological ambush". It's not something to transcend. First, the settled state needs to be superimposed on the agitated state. Like layers of tissue paper. It softens the metaphorical "ambush". Then I advise walking meditations which are fine tuned specifically to deconstruct the triggers which produce the agitation.
  14. What I meant is, there's one and only one [ correct intellectual conception ] which includes them all. Hopefully I haven't misunderstood? The "peak experience" or stable realization you referred to can be described, maybe, as a non-dual inclusion of these states within one's awareness? If so, there can be one and only one complete non-dual realization which includes them all. It makes sense that only a rare few would possess an intellect capable of apprehending such a realization, even for an single moment.
  15. Hello Davino, it's nice to meet you. Thank you for the thought provoking topic. Yes, because there's only one correct intellectual conception of the "highest states of consciousness", reaching these states requires significant intellectual resources and effort and/or just dumb luck. It's a good reminder.
