Depends on what you mean by "them" If you mean neurotypicals i'd answer: We don't control/manipulate them because we hate them. Does a peasant put fences around their chickens bc they hate them? No, he does this so they don't get eaten by foxes. In fact, the peasant thinks the chickens are cute as hell runnin around all unaware of shit. Neurotypicals discriminate against us not because they are evil, but because they don't know any better. Also neurotypicals don't hate the people who manipulate them because they need and want to be manipulated, it is a win-win situation. If you mean "bourgeoisie" I'd say ABSOLUTELY. The problem with the class struggle isn't that the working-class hates the bourgeoisie too much, it's that the workingclass doesn't hate the bourgeousie ENOUGH. The bourgeoisie class will always hate communism and the working class as long as the bourgeoisie exists (this is why the canadian prime minister had to bash communism and the communist working class for no reason in his speech). In order to really create a world without hate, we need to stop meditating so much and move towards a classless society It is important for me to add that I don't expect you to hate the rich. If you are a truth loving person (on the spectrum between autism and HSP) which you are, then you understand that the bourgeoisie and the working class act in their own egoic interests and are not inherently evil. The best way you can support the revolution anyway is by level-headedly educating the working class about the class struggle and make them super-duper angry.

I am planning to do posts on Marxism-Leninism (ML) on this forum. In order to engage with this topic and not dismiss it as dogmatic Marxist ramblings, I need you to enter the state of not knowing and be open to radical claims that will shatter your current worldview if you accept them. Forget everything you think you know about communism. (most of it is likely wrong anyway) I currently identify more with Actualized.org teachings than with Marxist teachings. I would say that I spent about 20-30 times more time on Actualized.org and adjacent teachings than on Marxist teachings. Therefore, don't have much of an egoic motive to propagate Marxism. But this also means I'm not an expert. I encourage you to seek resources from Marxists who are more educated on the topic. ## What is Marxism-Leninism? In Very short, ML are people who (not uncritically) defend, want to tie on and draw inspiration from earlier historic and current implementations of ML to lead revolutions in Their respective countries. Before going into any more detail, I want to address those concerns I predict to be put forward in this community and construct a very brief defense for each of them here. Ideally, I will go into more detail in future posts/replies. ## "ML neither promotes spirituality nor life purpose" Wrong. ML provides a practical and actionable approach for enabling the conditions for large scale development with historical data to learn from and a methodology for historical analysis. ## "ML is dogmatic, ML is stage blue" Wrong. Real ML intellectuals are high-level, low-bias thinkers. Marxism is inherently self-critical. Nationalism, conformity and pseudo-religious iconography are deliberately used to enhance mass scale effectiveness in order to replace existing oppressive structures. ## "ML has never worked in practice! Socialism is a skunk! Also, dictators and authoritarianism and totalitarianism!" Wrong. The reason you think this is because of western propaganda. Extreme actions and poverty in communist led states are and were pretty much always a direct reaction/result of the struggle against the bourgeoisie and the century old American war against communism, and not a result of inherent flaws in communist thought or practice. ## "ML does not take human nature and survival into account!" Wrong. Human survival and the material conditions are the main focus of all Marxist thought and the starting point of all its implementations. ## "But free speech and democracy and protesting!" Wrong. The reason you think you need those (rather than free housing, free healthcare, job security, etc.) is because in a free market democracy, the state acts primarily in the interest of the capital and the profits, not in that of the people, no matter who is voted to rule. If the will of the people is raised above the will of the capital, the only people who complain are the rich and their allies. This results in communist led countries actually often being more democratic than capitalist democracies. Did you know that China is holding votes on representatives? Why not? Has someone perhaps withheld this information from you? ## "ML is materialism and scientism and atheism and stage orange" Correct. However, Marxism does not claim it or its implementations are free of contradictions. The claim is that a state of societal development which is free of class struggle has to be entered first, in order to sustainably move humanity to stages with even less contradictions (like stage green societies). In my opinion, ideally, ML is implemented by tier 2 thinkers, which is why it is so important to me to talk about this on this forum. The idea that conscious politics can effectively be implemented (through reform) without forcefully ending the class struggle first might be the biggest delusion regarding politics present in this community and in the western world. All progress is always eventually reversed by the bourgeoisie. This is historical fact and is exemplified by the rise of the right all over the world. Capitalism will soon hit a brick wall. When that time comes, will you side with the revolution, or will you be too paralyzed by fear of your skewed fabricated view of communism? Will you allow the current corrupt system to be perpetuated, or in the worst case allow fascism to rise again?

Do you have anything else to contribute to this discussion? -

Bro you can't defeat imperialism with imperialism that's not how that works You need to learn about history. Capitalist countries only fight fascist countrys when it's already to late because they profit from fascism -
Cred replied to Apparition of Jack's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
All of the west is allergic to the word "nationalization" bc it smells like communism. You can't get the rest of the west to do shit bc they profit from the american system. A revolution would lead to all of your goals becomming true and is actually achievable. And there are very actionable steps you can do right now to make the revolution more likely to succeed -

The Problem is that none of that is ever going to happen because the entire western world is run by oligarchs not just the US. The only chance to topple a western democracy is to radicalize the working class -

I wrote this before reading your solution. I'm reading it now -

Omg this is so funny. This thread is really interesting for me to observe. Nothing of what you just said is new or unique to the usa or even the current time period. It is a universal phenomenon that happens in late forms of capitalism and is very well studied. It is called "gaining class consciousness". It's also funny to observe that you scramble for solutions and wonder what actions one could take. You also realize that nobody seems to really take real actions against this (like for example the democrats or the UN) In reality, the answer is very simple, actually. If you are a theory nerd (which you are), what you can do is learn about Marxism-Leninism and dialectical/historical materialism, join and support your nearest Marxist-Leninist org and help them systematically radicalize the oppressed working class. You can also help them apply Marxism-Leninism from a high consciousness tier 2 perspective. This is it. This is the one solution. The one thing you can do to make this happen. And it can happen. This is historical fact. I've already done two posts about this, where I go into more detail. Check em out: -
@Carl-Richard I 10000% agree with everything you said. But it is better to use negative language in a positive way, than be afraid of these labels and reject them because they are negative/pathological. I made up (lol) the phrase "passion oriented person" exactly for this reason. I put executive dysfunction in parentheses so people can find the right ressources.

I hate that I don't have a good answer (for someone who doesn't like dr. k). Again, most of my knowledge stems from observing ND people, also specifically seeking them out, which I would suggest all of you to do. A lot of my knowledge comes from scrolling and just different sources. I would suggest you to train the algorithm (through liking posts etc) of the platform(s) of your choice to recommend you good content about the topic and then find your own favorite sources.

@Wilhelm44Glad you asked. One healthy way I found to deal with the term Neurodivergence (ND) is by imagining each of the types of ND (ADHD, autism, HSP, gifted, etc) is to imagine each neurodivergency as a basket full of different symptoms (there are overlaps). I see the binary diagnosis framework as "if you have a significant amount of symptoms from one type of ND, you are diagnosed with that ND". In my opinion, the danger of this framework is, let's say you only have a single one symptom of a single one kind of ND let's say you have executive dysfunction (ED) which is a symptom of ADHD. You will not be diagnosed with that ADHD. Now if you don't have ADHD does this now mean that you don't actually have ED???? No. If you see the symptoms of ED in your life, you have it, regardless whether you qualify for an ADHD diagnosis. The important thing to understand is that even if you only have ED, this will have a significant impact on your life, and you will identify with the ND community to some extend. And my claim again, is that a significant amount of people here have a significant amount of symptoms even if they might not have (though many do qualify actually imo) enough from one basket to qualify for the diagnosis. So if you don't like labels, I encourage you to not use them on yourself, but instead learn about each basket and see which of the symptoms apply to you. Even if you don't qualify for any one diagnosis

I acknowledge that my understanding of neurodivergence is incomplete, does not have a rock solid scientific foundation and is more based on my own pattern recognition, applying these concept s to myself and others. However, I am more confident than ever that ND points to some very deep truth about how people arrive at this community and what our common struggles are (like pickup, life purpose, narcissism, spiritual bypassing, escapism for example) and how to solve them more sustainably. It is kinda funny to me that there seems to be two camps of skeptics: I want more precise definitions Definitions are bullshit My thinking is also often torn between those two modes, since I am at the same time a very open person but I also like clarity and rigorousness. I also think that this tendency is not unique to me in this community. I think that a vanilla 100% autistic person would never discover actualized bc Leo is too erratic for them. They choose their special interests around predictability and order. Also someone who is 100% open (only HSP only Psychotic, only schizophrenic?) would not bother to follow the thought train in a 3 hour video. My claim is that we are all autistic, HSP (or whatever) hybrid (both) passion oriented people (executive dysfunction), and we are also all gifted. The way I try to synthesize these opposing forces is with ambivalence, alternating consistency and inconsistency, fragmentation (see Schlegel), humor, contradiction, etc. Reality is paradox, reality is a-rational, reality is a stange-loop, reality does not care about the law of contradiction, reality allows for superpositions remember?

Oh shit thank you for this, this is really relevant for me since my mom suffers from schizophrenia😅

I don't want to slap any label on you. But I would suggest you look into "Highly sensitive person" (HSP). In my mind, a HSP is a "variation" of autism that might include insensitivity to social norms but in contrast to autistic people HSPs are extremely sensitive to their own emotions and those of others. In my mind an "empath" is also just a variation or subset or another word for HSP. An example for a symptom is that it is unbearable if someone is openly angry towards you for any reason. I think there is a very good chance that if you were to read a book about hsp, it would feel to you like reading your own biography, bc this was what it was like to me. HSPs aren't that rare actually I think it's like 15% of the population (also the population of other mammals interestingly)

This is honestly hilarious. It's really helpful that you cleared that up. It did absolutely take that literally. This is so ironic. I always believed the not understanding sarcasm thing does not apply to me lol. I'm being gaslit into believing I'm autistic from the people I try to gaslight into believing they're autistic Thanks for specifying. I will try to post more rarely, such that my posts about one specific subject don't dominate any one of the sub-forums. Is that okay?

I feel like I'm getting mixed signals about my posting behavior from this forum. Naturally, I don't want to change my plan. It seems, @Carl-Richard believes I'm just some new guy who is overly enthusiastic about the topic and neither has enough arguments to support the claims, nor has enough of a philosophical basis to understand the nature of concepts, categories etc. It might be true that I'm overly enthusiastic, but I do know what I'm talking about and I want to hold my basis. Also I want to have freedom over my approach, my brain works very impulsively (I think this might be noticeable).
-
Believe it or not I agree 100% with these statements. I am just as much of a detail loving person as the next person here. But I also understand that it's not possible to catch anyone's attention with long technical pamphlets. My plan was to post more level-headedly, precisely about how I think about neurodiversity and how I apply it into my life after this post.
-
Yes. If you accept that you are part of ND and are willing to learn about it and make it influence your life choices, then this post is not targeted at you. I encourage you to completely study the breadth and depth of all the genetic variations far far beyond NT vs ND and then totally deconstruct everything and come up with a new perspective. Constructing and deconstructing act like yin and yang. Opposites are at the same time interdependent and in conflict with another in Hegelian terms. (Did I learn this yesterday? Yes. Do I know what I'm saying? Perhaps) I don't think we disagree as much as you might think
-
Thanks for the encouragement! I was actually wondering if what I do falls under excessive posting lol. As you can see by my posts count, I'm only active since quite recently
-
I agree with everything you said, except this one. I don't think this happens like at all in practice. This is like claiming that trans women have transitioned to crush girls in sports or harass women in woman's bathrooms. People don't just claim these kinds of labels on a whim. Quite the opposite, they are afraid of them and reject them (initially). You seem to be pretty deep in your journey. You might be deeper in than me and also have more severe ND than me. I don't have much to teach you. But I want to defend my use of rhetoric by offering a thought experiment. Imagine you would wake up tomorrow and have forgotten everything you ever learned about ND. How would that impact your life? You must be aware that a lot of people here are at that exact point. These are the people I'm speaking to.
-
Correct. Also sorry that it is not written in inclusive language. Of course this also applies to dickless dickless people
-
@Raze You're not going far enough. American oligarchs rule the world. The only countries that defy American imperialism are Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, Cuba ect. Well, what a coincidence that you hate all these countries! Surely they must be inherently evil. But it is a strange coincidence, is it not?
-
I think this is totally fair. Chill, my guy. I think all of their reactions are completely justified. Have you never been offended at people diagnosing you with ND before you knew you were autistic? I remember always being very offended when somebody asked whether I have ADHD. I also remember arguing with people who thought I was autistic. I myself also got hit with the "I've never seen a non-autistic person say this" in the past lol (context: I said "if I'm annoying, you can throw me out any time". The guy is autistic himself and has an autistic friend group) The fact that they were right and we are right now does not change the fact that the language we are using is intrusive. You need to keep that in mind. The best we can do is put it on their radar and then it's on them to start connecting the dots. This takes a very long time necessarily. Healthy awakening takes time.

This deserves a seperate thread
