All the cards have lined up for China to take Taiwan; the u.s. is on the brink of collapse, russia has europe and the u.s. tied up and wore down, the trade war has cut off incentives for cooperation. China doesn't even lead itself let alone the world, their success is completely reliant on the global trade created by western liberalism. And there's a vacuum in trade forming. The only thing keeping down worldwide armed conflicts is trade which is based on the idea of equity with the poor countries providing everything.
