  1. You guys gotta quit belieiving the internet. In the u.s. for poor people we have free medical care, food, and housing(currently not enough for everyone). There are working class people here that have ferarris, a lot of working class people have two homes. And NO ONE works hard. "Medicaid Copays ; Dental services, $3 per visit ; Eye examinations, $2 per examination ; Eyeglasses, $1 per fitting ; Most brand name (non-generic) medications, copay for a non-emergency ER visit is $3., Federal law caps copayments for preferred drugs at $4, while non-preferred drugs can have copayments up to $8 in some cases." The people you hear complaining are usually baristas that grew up in cushy suburbs and moved to some big name city.
  2. The 'altruistic' millionaire Bernie Sanders has three homes. Buddha wouldn't own a casino? Lol
  3. It's not just road infrastructure either, roads and parking lots require a lot more storm drainage, which exacerbates water pollution. More traffic police, car accidents, auto insurance, ....... They're anti-social too.
  4. Socialism is a stateless form of politics, a core tenet of socialism. I am a leftist, just not a pseudo leftist like these socialists.
  5. @Hardkill where do the poor people in third world countries fit into your "economic populism" policy. Where does Sanders, AOC, or Mamdani address them? They don't, they're stage orange materialists. This obvious contradiction in the sale of this "socialism" is seen clear as day by conservatives.
  6. @Carl-Richard congrats on your thesis!
  7. What do you mean my muscle soreness and heaviness? High performance athletes sleep 12 hours a day. 8 hours of sleep won't restore you physically if you're doing a lot. Oftentimes it takes me several days recovery, from doing some prolonged strenuous activity. Do you ever have rest days? It could be prolonged fatigue, maybe you need a break.
  8. That's what we're telling you.
  9. If a new england catholic grandpa kissing his grandkids makes you think about sex, you might be a pedophile. Grown men even kiss in that culture, heterosexual.
  10. You ever hear of biphasic sleep? It's more restorative.
  11. Change your environment. The people you're around, the food in your house. Sell your TV, build bookshelves, sell your couch get a punching bag or weight bench, move to a better neighborhood or town, sell your game system and bookmark the SEC filings page on your browser, buy a bicycle, hangout at the library, grow a garden, volunteer(you meet great people), try to do things that would benefit you even if they seem very hard or impossible,.......
  12. Hard at 30, but not 60. Average American workers can easily be millionaires.
  13. "The September 11 attacks were the deadliest terrorist attacks in human history, causing the deaths of 2,996 people, including 19 hijackers who committed ."
  14. Goals -Working on getting married -Planting 20 fruit trees and bushes in the spring, several other trees in the fall -try to get to a complete forward-fold yoga pose -build a greenhouse -Read a book a week -invest in my friendships, been busy the last forever Nice thread
  15. Car infrastructure in cities wastes so much real estate and money. E bikes are even more efficient than trams.
  16. Not for me, personality is 80% of her "hotness".
  17. Get's easier and better with age. You get better at filtering, and so do women, less bs.
  18. Just questioning your thoughts and feelings? More efficient than writing it out?
  19. I've found it to be from an underlying subconscious 'disturbance'. Something wrong, like cognitive dissonance, living the wrong way, operating off detrimental indoctrination. It's often not even related to what I ruminate on. It seems to be a subconscious alarm for something being wrong with the way I'm thinking or living. Anxiety.
  20. Read the title of this thread "Why do some people reject the existence of God?" do you have any issue with this title? Do you believe in "the existence of God"? There's no reason to use the term God, Shiva, Brahman, except to qualify the religions they're attached to. "God" is Anglo-Christian, Moses nor Abraham even used the term, it's specific to a sect and their beliefs. The only point in you saying "Shiva is nothingness/unlimitedness" , is to qualify hinduism. Otherwise you would just say unlimitedness or nothingness, not "God".
  21. Mamdani need to call his hoe https://bsky.app/profile/taliajane.bsky.social/post/3m6ru5eryyc2z Video "ICE garage blockaded in lower Manhattan with dozens of agents stuck inside as more and more New Yorkers gather. 23. You find the terms "God, Shiva, Brahman", to be unambiguous to most people? "Nov 14, 2025 — Shiva, one of the main deities of Hinduism, whom Shaivites worship as the supreme god. Among his common epithets are Shambhu (“Benign”),"
