What country are you suggesting lacks the infrastructure? I live in a vastly diverse city, entire neighborhoods of African immigrants, entire Mexican neighborhoods,.... I love it, we have authentic ethnic restaurants, Ethiopian, Somalian, Indonesian, Peruvian, lebanese, afghan,.... And I freaking love the diverse attire and language. I was at an asian grocery yesterday, no one speaking english and i didn'thave to travel to Asia. We have muslim mosques, Buddhist centers, vedanta societies,.... one city. Europe has a population crisis, too few births. This may seem like a small issue but it could collapse the entire economic pyramid scheme based on debt, based on keeping the music playing so the house of cards doesn't collapse. I don't support open borders, and actually don't think economic collapse is as bad as most people do, but, another huge benefit to immigration is the connection to the rest of the world. With the ending of imperialism, we're entering a stage of diplomacy, and diversity will help greatly with that, not only on paper but through personal connections to other countries. I support only limited immigration, but it's a moving target. Your comment about not being good people, some groups are genocided, you're not good if you don't help them.

"Difficulty", trying to force yourself to meditate can cause problems, feeling guilty or anxious about needing to meditate has the opposite of the desired result. Perhaps you're not in a good way to meditate much. Thoughts disappear more quickly if you regularly meditate, you'll notice how long your thoughts regularly stick around and it's often surprisingly long, you likely operate for years or your entire life with 'subconscious' thoughts replaying. As long as people aren't faking resolve, and anxiety and depression is actually alleviated, given anxiety and depression are from 'negative' thoughts. I don't think it's really to "extinguish all suffering" that would just be aversion. Meditation helps me be more focused and clear minded, calm and peaceful but in a productive way, not a lazy way. I enjoy meditation, it's like a walk through a park or watching a sunset. You will absolutely probably have life difficulties getting into this stuff. You're talking about something that will deprogram you, that's painful, confusing, emotional, and hectic.

Damn. Why do you say " go to my room to isolate myself from humanity"? Do you think you may be depressed? Some people don't need friends. Even just one friend makes a big difference, and then having others if something happens there or they are busy.
