Life in Iran is more predictable. In the West the materialistic culture paired with drastic disparities between individuals causes a lot of mental suffering. Some people don't know how to thrive in the West, it's new in ways, not understood very well by most people, so it's confusing and there's a lot of misdirection and bad direction given to people, for example; from religions.
