Creating your own circle seems limiting. You can just go be social and dive in and out of already existing small social circles. Go do new things and to new places and just be sociable and you'll meet 1,000 people in a month.

Materialistic women are not in high demand, that's why rich guys wind up marrying 3 times. Nor are they smart. You want smart and hot, try volunteer work and explore those social groups. And, no need to be a millionaire there either.

There's probably literally no one that escapes the parental toxicity cycle without reducing contact. You feeling bad about reducing contact is from their probably lifelong psychological manipulation they've done to you. Even people in non toxic families reduce contact for certain periods in life, it's healthy, probably necessary: they're just not made to feel guilty about it, because it's normal.
