Protests are psycho-social. People and society are not rational, they're emotional, that's what protests target. This is your "cHaRiSmAtIc lEaDEr" equivalent, but much stronger.

He's never had 50% support.

We need a king for our no kings protest!!! /s Stay away from cults, you're very susceptible..... Democracy is the next step before anarchy, the opposite direction of a charismatic leader. WE all are the leaders.

Start giving homeless people christian monk robes so republicans leave them alone.... call for building state monasteries for them...

Better health, longer lifespan, good people may befriend you easier being less threatening. I don't think it matters. Everyone has to find a right woman for them, everyone has some area in this pursuit that is a struggle. Everyone can be bullied, being bullied does not devalue you, it has nothing to do with you and it's no reflection of you, it's a reflection of insecurity and weakness in the bully, that's it.

This is juvenile. They're legislators, they work for us, they're not our leaders, they're our representatives in writing and voting for laws, that's it. It isn't a gameshow. Stupid people vote like this; red or blue. If you think blue needs better messaging then get at it, it doesn't require you to be elected for you to speak. Buttigieg is all over the news, not elected, currently not running. When was Charlie Kirk elected?

@Ajay0 do you have any idea why he doesn't go back to 1994 Russian invasion of Chechnya? Or why Ukraine is existential requirement for Russia?

What specific issues though, DEI? You think we should focus more on Palestine, that's what you're referring to? You're being super vague and inflammatory.
-
Is your big complaint DEI? What else, what's your biggest reverse racism complaints? I think it's not only okay, but GOOD to question DEI.

Could absolutely be the case, very plausible. I would only disagree with "most honest", I would say 'less dishonest', but we probably mean the same thing. If you want to ask me a question, go ahead. It's hard for me to imagine you care about defending Sadhguru this much, is it just about my seeming to dance around in discussion? I knew about Sadhguru and had this opinion before this thread. I just don't value elaborating much in comments unless asked. People misunderstand each other a large amount of the time and there's so many different perspectives that interact with online comments, it's usually a waste. -
WORLDWIDE. Please help us, non-americans

It is, fun too, good times, all kinds of cool creative stuff and great people.

We have them every week in my city, but it's going to be huge here, like 20 neighborhood/town protests in the morning, then everyone at the state capitol building afterward. We've been on national news for lining our long kind of main road through the city, like 5 miles. Red state.

This Saturday, nationwide and WORLD WIDE protests!!!!

@Scholar examples of our cancel culture would be something like Aunt Jemimah and Uncle Ben foods, there was uproar against Dave Chappelle for transphobia, Kanye, JK Rowling, Christopher Columbus, Confederate statues,..... You can't go to a forum for liberals, bring up bigot stuff, get screamed at, and call it cancel culture. You can't say bigot stuff in public without getting screamed at just like you can't support Gaza in public without getting screamed at, that's not cancel culture. Imagine drag queens showing up at a Baptist church wearing crosses. Do you think most political discourse during the Civil rights movement was accepting of the other side?
-
It's literally what you're saying. Apparently you don't see the difference between political conversations and non-political conversations.
-
I would imagine. You're crying about people sharing their political views in political conversations. Charlie Kirk----> POLITICAL pundit. Not that he should be killed, but obviously people are going to express emotionally charged criticism, it's done to either side.
-
But the discussion in this space is political. It's not like progressives are picketing in front of churches, Nascar, or the butcher shops (Conservatives actually do the equivalent though), It's a political conversation.
-
This is not "social spaces" as you're trying to frame it, these are political spaces. You get called racist for grocery shopping?
-
You can't provide an example so we can see what you're talking about? Rape SHOULD be demonized.
-
Can you give an example of the cancel-culture you're referring to?
