  1. Lol we were not "designed to exercise". We just did whatever was needed to survive, if that required chasing down an antilope or a mammoth, then that's what we did. We never did even an ounce more than what was required of us to survive, and at large we used the rest of the time to do nothing and be lazy. Nowadays we have no real motivators like that (survival based), they're gone completely. Thus all these attempts at promoting exercise always feel rather empty. What does even "potential" mean in this case - that throught enough exercise you can.... do more and better exercise? LOL
  2. Yes indeed, it is the boring stuff that always works. But ofc that won't stop people from endlessly talking about investing as if it was some hard science worthy of being discussed endlessly LOL ideally you'd do all these strategies at once - consistently auto investing the exact way you've described, while also trying to time the market with a portion of your money saved up, buying property and gold, speculating with crypto, etc. Tbh sometimes I'm at a bit of a loss about the choices investors collectively make, like, for example what is their reasoning behind pulling out of S&P 500 ETFs. "Trump create tarifs so me no trust American economy no more" not realizing that by doing that they'll eventually make those stocks a good investment again. It's just all one big illusion and game
  3. Ba-dam-tssssss I'm Don Di Don Don
  4. It is a strange thing that I've chosen and am continually choosing to live out my days in such a passive, uneventfull manner, just sort of letting the days slip by. But I can't help it, I've always liked to be comfortable a bit too much. But it is a specific kind of comfortable joy I am seeking, it is not the kind of comfort fat people seek for example, it's different. It's like I keep wanting to remain a child
  5. Bro, and here I am, fantasizing about how I would only need a 100k for me to invest properly in a way in which it would easilly sustain me for a lifetime. We trully are living in different realities
  6. That's kinda true in a way, but at the same time you wouldn't want any place to be constantly spammed with profanities, it would get disguisting and tiresome to look at after a certain period of time. Honest to God, I would talk much more shit to people and would be more of a trashtalker if it wasn't penalized, but then it'd be difficult for me to stop, or I would stop too late. So, I recognize that, at the end of the day, the work mods are doing here is very much valid. But of course, just because the profanities are not on the screen doesn't make them dissapear from my mind, and in the most cases they are truthfull
  7. I don't know. I don't care. I don't know. I don't care.
  8. How about the cringiest user posts - giga thread
  9. You all have missed his point entirely. He is not talking about a hardcore stuff being bad, but about porn focusing entirely on the mechanical part of the whole ordeal, neglecting the whole socio-emotional component to seduction and sex. Terrible attempts at acting obviously doesn't save it And he has a point there obviously
  10. If you need a role model, you are a sucker
  11. I would say it's any societal organization, technology, vision, and set of actions that facilitate and progress us toward an optimal balance between the smoother survival of mankind and the maximization of its happiness. Colonizing and terraforming a few dead planets or other objects in our solar system would probably be a good choice for us in that regard, as we would no longer be entirely dependent on a single planet for survival. I mean, given that we survive long enough, this is bound to happen with or without Elon. Maybe we don’t necessarily need megalomaniacs like him, but we do need people with a grand vision for our future. Perhaps some greed and pride are necessary to have such a vision and drive in the first place. Sure, we could just stay on this one planet and be satisfied with that—but we could have thought the same thing during the Stone Age and just remained in our caves. The question is: is there such a thing as ‘enough is enough’? Who knows? Only we can answer that for ourselves.
  12. You know, when people like Trump (or people who like Trump) get called an asshole or a dick or whatever, I bet the first thing Trump would think about that is "what a bunch of pussies". It's about as meaningfull of an insult as if a woman was calling man an asshole
  13. I was just pointing to a reality that this is how a family is created in actuality - it is more of a unconscious process. Doing before thinking. People who think before they do tend to reproduce in much lesser numbers
  14. I don't think creating a family of your own is about finding a reason behind doing it. People just follow a certain script in life, and family just happens to be one of them, just like going to school. I don't think there's much thinking involved at all, just knock some chick up/get knocked up by some dude, then use kids as a motivation to work, and structure your whole life around them in general
  15. You have to seek a boring semi ascetic sort of life to get the most out of it. It's very counterintuitive. If you keep seeking excitement you'll start to get bored and you'll have to keep seeking higher and higher levels of excitement, whereas if you have a boring life, then even the little things will start to excite you
  16. Just have to consciously choose to not get controlled by a few specific chemicals in my brain, that's all. That's the whole battle. Consciousness is not dependent on these chemicals after all. I have a free will and I can consciously choose what to do daily. Don't get swayed, don't get swayed, don't get swayed. Focus, focus, focus
  17. Stop checkin my profile. Faggets There. Disabled.
  18. Regardless, my general direction might change but in the meantime, short term I will keep banging my head against the same wall until I get that job. Bitch prolly thought I'd be homeless or in some deep troublesome shit or something LOL well they were fuckin wrong
  19. Guess I have a wrong attitude dont I? LOL
  20. All jobs kinda suck tho. Always at least a little bit. To be honest. Can't really escape that. At the same time all of them are absolutely necessary for a society, I've never denied that At the same time, who really cares about society. I did not choose to be here. LOL People motivate themselves with all sorts of BS to go to a job and put on a performance, or study this and that, and create all sorts of believe systems around it but say you weren't forced to do anything for a survival (in terms of money), would you still do something. I know I most likely wouldn't do shit, and I'd be happy with it for the most part. Maybe sometime down the line I'd start being productive out of my own free will, but that's only maybe. A hypothetical. Can't be the only one who's like that. I refuse to believe that
  21. I think I'll be applying for physical jobs only from now on. A definitive shift in my career direction. I think I've made a mistake. In what I was studying and for what I was going for. It was a mistake. These corporate office jobs are just too far up in their own ass in what they're requiring. And it's not like not knowing or not being capable of doing the stuff they require makes me necessarilly dumb. I suppose it makes me kinda dumb and useless in their limited perception of what they consider to be usefull for them. And in the eyes of all people who think this is what defines a bulk of your inteligence. I mean it kind of does, there's no denying that some of the stuff required for these positions, such as analytical thinking, high levels of abstract thinking, having expertise in various fields and various softwares; etc. etc. requires a lot of specific type of inteligence. And also a certain mindset that is required for facilitating this inteligence and your general usefullness for the company. But for me, the king marker of inteligence is whether you are living a good life or not. Anything else is secondary, tertiary etc. etc. I've seen a lot of smokers, fat people, or people who look like shit in general in these offices. It's just an undeniable observation. However, needless to say the best jobs combine both high levels of mental + physical prowess, and those will be the last to be replaced by A.I. Those will be the ones I'll be aiming for from now on
  22. Not as good from what perspective? Would we say the same about termites or beavers for example, who are also terraforming their enviroment in a never-ending effort of trying to survive. Why should they exist? I don't find disliking humans very inteligent. We are behaving no different than any other animal species really, we are just switching that behaviour to eleven due to our inteligence
  23. 🤣😬😬 Thats so cringey
  24. Better have some money saved up ready to be dumped at the bottom
  25. Once again, a question thats never been answered by him just offers itself on a silver platter here - who the fuck is he? LOL he's literaly just some random dude. Random ass dude. LOL
