  1. Naaah, did it flew right over my head? noooooooooooooooo
  2. @Leo Gura you probably didn't read the whole thing. I'm not being racist. all i did is speak in a parallel analogy, i replaced love with racism for the jock. It's just wordplay, hyperbolic. also i posted it in "off topic" section, so it's not serious.
  3. @Nemra that's probably why cults exist 🤣
  4. Grey is an illusion, it's maya's doing. life created it to to make us think black and white can unite.
  5. @Nemra what? haha, no way, who would think life is designed to maximize racism lol i even used Leo's quotes from that post called "Leo" at the end to lean into the jock but for real though, debate me @Leo Gura, prove me wrong
  6. Bro said: "hmm yes, after careful intellectual analysis… this appears to be trolling" (i also trolling with this one)
  7. @Rigel wow bro, how did you figure that out
  8. This one is interesting, a girl from spain went through a lot, demanded to end her life as a merciful act and the government accepted after 2 years. here's her story: So Noelia Castillo Ramos was a 25-year-old girl from Spain. Her life got completely messed up after severe trauma and a suicide attempt that left her paralyzed and in constant pain. She grew up in a broken family with addicted and psychologically unstable parents, so the state took her to a child protection center. In 2022, she was subjected to a gang assault by a group. She jumped from the fifth floor in an attempt to end her life, but she survived and became paralyzed, suffering from chronic pain and severe psychological issues. On top of that, she was dealing with heavy psychological struggles since she was a teenager. At some point, she decided she couldn't keep living like that and asked for euthanasia under the law. It wasn't something quick though. She spent like 2 years going through doctors, evaluations, and courts, while her dad was trying to stop it the whole time. In the end, the courts said she was fully aware and made the decision on her own, so they allowed it. Here's where the discussion gets heated: Pros / why people support her choice: She suffered intensely and for years, physical and psychological pain. She was fully aware of her decision and repeatedly asked for it. Traditional treatments and therapies couldn't relieve her suffering enough. Autonomy matters: it's her life, her choice. Cons / why some worry: Could be normalized, more people might see euthanasia as an "easy solution" to suffering. Vulnerable populations might feel pressure, consciously or unconsciously. Psychological suffering sometimes improves with therapy or support, so critics worry euthanasia could happen too early. Legal/moral lines are blurred when it's not a terminal illness. People claim she could've been saved and the system let her go/failed her her family deserves a saying (her dad and sister refused) Of course religious and cultural reasons. My take? Honestly, for her specifically, she wanted it, she was suffering, she repeatedly asked for it for 2 years, so it's her right. The broader society concerns can be dealt with another way. My question though is, if she was enlightened, would she do the same? if she was conscious of infinite love and God, would that make a difference?
  9. @gettoefl Yeah knowing the balance between expression and perpetuation is key.
  10. Me and Leo made a post about the same thing in the same day, i think we are soulmates. Leo's: Mine: Visual 1.mp4
  11. @Spiritual Warrior I'm proud of my 6-inch penis
  12. 1. Walter white is a relatable character. he started as sort of a loser/victim, so he started pursuing redemption, and we all started rooting for him. and his arc is very believable, the way he went from a normie dad, into survivalist, then into an ambitious power hungry dude which ruined his life. 2. the dynamic of walter and Jesse, they are opposites and compliment eachother in a beautiful way that makes everything interesting.
  13. i guess the purpose of that phrase which is clearly failing to translate is, the power of presence. when you are fully present, time stops being a factor and you become fully immersed in being. in that state, you don't care what's gonna happen tomorrow, tomorrow doesn't register in your brain. so basically, that phrase is telling you to structure your life in a way where you maximize presence, and not do activities that stimulate egoic stuff like attachment and fear.
  14. LOL you're onto something
  15. I visited my family and my town lately and it brought up memories, and I started reflecting back on my life. I realized I've always been happy most of my life, always been passionate, positive, engaged in life... and the only times that were painful and felt bad were when my psychological stuff get triggered, when I regress back to a defensive state due to trauma and fucked up parenting, which results in all sorts of perception distortions like toxic shame, guilt, severe anxiety disorder, low self-worth, deep insecurity, attachment issues, catastrophizing... that shit gets me into a state of cognitive narrowing, where thinking becomes rigid and focused on threat; reasoning and perspective-taking diminish. and in the past 3 years, I went deep into that shit, understood it, practiced my way out of it through understanding in general and specific practices and techniques. and holly shit the amount of growth that came after that, addressing that made my life way better and freer. If any of this resonates, I strongly encourage you to confront it, leaving it unchecked will keep holding you back from happiness and growth.
  16. @lostingenosmaze Nice
  17. Why? like, you know, like, like why?
  18. This is one thing I still struggle with; I really would appreciate some help with this. when you have a boss or client, the deadline is set for you and it makes it easy to move fast. but how can i establish the same when working on personal projects? any tips?
  19. should there be a distinction between survival work and fulfilling work/passion? surely, if we think holistically, and consider the major principles of life, one can be at a level where they combine both in almost a contradictory way, by embracing the paradoxical nature of life, adopting the right philosophy, mastering detachment and playfulness, leveraging creativity and problem solving to find fulfilling ways to transcend survival, aka make lots of money. and most importantly trusting intuition. I see many examples of broke people that chased their passion in almost immature childlike manner, not giving a slight fuck about practicality or strategy, being delusional and end up more successful than any genius hardworking businesspeople. this pattern is so repetitive to ignore, and I still believe it is possible. Or is this determined by luck and is nothing but mere fantasy? see, if we synthesize insights from these principles: the wisdom from Maslow's hierarchy of needs how authenticity leads to massive drive, motivation, and effortlessness power of intuition how life is paradoxical detachment spiral dynamics cybernetics resistance left brain and right brain big picture and long-term thinking the subconscious mind vs conscious mind Ego being the source of most dysfunctional stuff (fear, being stuck, sabotage, self-image, homeostasis…) we conclude that if one is skilled and developed enough to embody a paradoxical attitude of detachment and non-caring, trusting in how life works, not wanting a specific outcome, mastering fear, mastering ego. eventually some form of intuition will arise, some inner authentic motivation that'll lead you to doing the exact right sequence of actions that get you to where you wanna be without consciously engineering your way into it. where you stop obsessively chasing specific outcomes, become less controlled by fear, and begin trusting the broader intelligence of life, but still paradoxically have conscious direction. because if you just sit there, you won't just stay still until you die, you have authentic desires, for food, money, status, creativity, freedom.... and those constantly generate internal pressure; the subconscious mind may begin organizing behavior toward fulfilling those needs. and the subconscious mind is far more powerful than the conscious in achieving and finding out a way to fulfill those needs, and in synthesizing constraints and finding a way despite those constraints. it is not linear like the conscious mind. that's why the people that make it this way do so unconsciously, they are just talented and wired to follow their intuition in this radical and paradoxical way. it is insane to do this consciously. so, is this kind of intuitive, paradoxical approach to life something that can be consciously cultivated, or does it only work when it emerges naturally and unconsciously when there is barely any conditioning? Would really appreciate your take on this @Leo Gura
  20. @Cred i wish i could just do that, but can't build a business without urgency, at least for me.
  21. @integration journey see why you use it so much, like deep down why. here are common reasons why people can't pull themselves from scrolling: they might be avoiding some emotions or numbing them down. or, they are using it as a soothing mechanism from a stressful life, or as an escape. or it's the only way for them to relax or rest, maybe it's their only window to see other people, or because they feel lonely, or they have nothing going on in their life so the default mode is scrolling, or they have fear of missing out and becoming uncool, or every time they try to do something important, they get resistance and use scrolling for procrastination. or they just simply bored all the time. just turn inwards, and once you find why, it becomes easy to quit. trying to delete the apps or turn your phone black and white so it's not appealing, or simply forcing yourself to quit won't work, until you know why you do it. watch these episodes of Leo: "awareness alone is curative", "overcoming addiction" and "how to stop watching TV" For me, why i was addicted to it at a certain point is i was numbing down fears around staring my freelance business, i was feeling like an imposter, afraid of embracing myself, of failing, of making the wrong decision... it was slowing me down and impacting my life negatively. it took some awareness and some mindset work and after some time i automatically find myself repelled from even opening it. meaning i didn't discipline myself or deleted the app, i just addressed the fears i had, and shined my awareness on how that habit was effecting me negatively and it solved itself overtime.
  22. this is not a picture, but an insight i just had and shared: The problem with suicide and nihilism is that they have truth to them, but the moment you grasp that, you no longer want to be nihilistic or suicidal
