  1. Hey Karkaore, I know this thread is old, hope people don't mind me starting it again. I just wanted to ask you why it's not good to pursue awakening when life isn't sorted out yet?
  2. @Afonso holy sh*t man. This is amazing. I just did this and expected nothing to happen and suddenly my stomach tensed up like it has never done before, it felt like my stomach was going to crush my organs c(not that bad lol, but still insane)... then i just did what you said and boom it was gone. May I ask you Afonso what you meant when you said that our blocks create problems in our life and that we won't has as many problems if our blocks are gone? I sort of understand how that would work but not really at the same time Appreciate you so much, thank you for being awesome!
  3. Seriously thank you for all you've given me and taught me, its amazing. It won't go to waste! Im still a bit unsure what you mean by the thing above in the quote. So did you mean that responding and reacting are needed to not be stressed? What is responding vs reacting? And how do I do it? And what does free will have to do with any of it? Hope I made this simple to reply to, don't want to confuse you
  4. @Ishanga Thank you for sharing the video!
  5. @Princess Arabia Yeah so you're saying that interpreting things positively is basically king
  6. @Jwayne Yeah I agree with you. is there anything to do to kind of bullet proof yourself from suffering when you are old and ill? I saw a clip from Shinzen Young where he said with illness and chronic pain, you can tolerate it and not be bothered by it if you have very powerful mindfulness. So maybe I should start practicing that more lol, Specifically he was taling about "equanimity"
  7. @UnbornTao im not sure tbh. thats why i made the post haah
  8. Hey I know this is a basic question but wdum by "sobriety"? I don't see how the word makes sense here.
  9. @integral Very true. Feels like im sinning by not being happy when I have such great circumstances compared to other people. Getting better at it all tho
  10. Hey ty for this reply. Super amazing. Really helped me. Do you mind me asking you for guidance for where to learn about raising my kundalina? I wouldn't know where to start, but it sounds like something amazing to do. Appreciate you a lot Ishanga 🙏
  11. @WelcometoReality Hey apologses for late reply im experiencing a complete lost of meaning in my life, this makes me lack a lot of motivation and has made me procastinate a lot, compared to me never procastinating once in my life before... also my identity was completely lost, i don't know who i am anymore... so seems like its the dark night a lot How come you asked? Does this impact where I should do holtropic breathing or not?
  12. Hey Boddee, I'm quite new to spirituality, so if this is silly of me then lmk lol. But maybe you would've been fine if you didn't do it everyday? Since surely that would be really intense. Like way too intense. Im not too sure since I've just seen Leo's video on shamanic breathing and now your post scares me lol I want to use shamanic breathing for the dark night of the soul, what do you think?
  13. Hey there Michal, this is really random since I found this old post by going on goolge, but can I ask you what you meant about being on why I should meditate more if I'm in the dark night of the soul? Im in a dark night right now and not sure what to do lol. Any help would be appreciated, thank you
  14. Wait! I know the title of the post sounds stupid as stupid can be, but hear me out. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to on this forum, but I've explained my question for this post as a very short video so that it's easier for me to explain, instead of typing eveyrthing out. The short video can be watched here: https://www.loom.com/share/1ea2c77824a9434d8da11df57d275c96 Extra notes I didn't mention in the video: - I am asking this question because if I can avoid the seperate practice of mindfulness, and instead do it at the same time with meditation, then that would obviously save 20min everyday of doing the mindfulness practice P.S: This is my 2nd post today, and as I am new to the forum I am unaware if there is a post limit, please tell me if there is one since i don't want to be banned from this beautiful place
  15. @charlie cho Hey I can't message you but am curious about curing myself of the impurities with the hints you've got!
  16. @integral Yeah I think i agree with that haha
  17. @Xonas Pitfall Great comment, this really clears things up for me, thank you for this.
  18. @UnbornTao By happiness im basically talking about fulfillment/feeling full and whole in life as I put it
  19. @gettoefl im new to spirituality and philosophy so your language hurt my brain haha, no offence
  20. @Thetruthseeker Yeah he did i was just curious since in his older videos he shows that you can be very happy from meditation, tho I guess it is true that he wasnt in a warzone or anything like that.
  21. @Leo Gura That's one way to scare me haha. Guess you do just gotta cherish every moment of it, can't argue with that.
  22. @NewKidOnTheBlock I see ty for that explanation, have you got any tips of becomign aware of how my emotions are running my life?
  23. I see so you'd really agree with Eckhart Tolle then that accepting the present and being in full presence is basically how to get away from suffering, since suffering doesn't exist in the present? And is it ok if you explain to me what it means to respond rather than react. From my understanding, response is where you are conscious vs reacting which is unconscious? But how does this work with happiness and what you was saying? And ngl i have no knowledge of kundalini and chakras, but if you can give me a 1 line summary of that, it'd be appreciated haha Ty for your comment
  24. @Buck Edwards Hey yeah that's a really good way to put it tbf, ty for the explanation
  25. @Yimpa Yeah I defo will, anyidea how to contact them? It's my 2nd day using this place haa
