The problem is you want all humans on the planet to be bowing. The word ego or the specific concept as you're using it does not appear once in the Bible. The golden calf is not a metaphor for the ego, as if all spiritual teachings are the same and really everybody is talking about the same thing. They are not. -
Like e-mail, e just means it's an internet thing. Like a pretty and cute boy who posts content for parasocial consumption by girls and gay boys. There are egirls too.

Really man? You can't find ANYBODYYYY that killed themselves in horrifically painful ways to help other people ok As if that's necessary. Badass, yes. Reverence-worthy NO! Think for yourself, and 99% of the problems you're having will disappear into infinity. -

The amount of beings that fits that is infinite. No, it isn't. 1. You have no reason to believe jesus existed in the way you think he did. 2. . . . That's about it for now. It's like saying it's impossible to not feel reverence for Hitler or the torturous murderous Space Kangaroo. -

No, Christianity is inherently demonic because it recognizes only ONE man. hahaha what -
Yes, I understand that completely.

@Leo Gura Here, there are some problems I'm musing over. Some of the answers may appear obvious, but steelmanning every perspective for more of a fullness of perspective in the end can be a maddening process. Such as 1. If you could pick sufferinglessness or Truthfulness which one is more valuable? (if it were a binary situation for the configuration of reality, how reality will be configured forever) 2. Is sufferinglessness (say a drab object with no suffering for a thousand years) or Beauty (but with some undercurrent or partiality or off-to-the-side inclusion of some pattern-recognizable suffering for a thousand years) more valuable? So is aesthetic or liberation from suffering more valuable, if you were forced to choose. 3. Is Concrete Intelligence in the form of working with engines and code or physical eyesight vs. Abstract Intelligence in the form of emotion and relationships and dreams/imagination more valuable?
-
@Leo Gura Would you consider making an inverse episode steelmanning non-God perspectives like Tom Campbell's My Big TOE, different schools of Buddhism focused on alleviating suffering over the Truth, scientific materialism as part of relative reality, etc. and trying to figure out how those fit into the truth?

I don't know who this guy is, but I clicked on it and he seems to talk with passion and conviction
-
Rumi would spin around in circles for hours and now it's called sufi whirling.
-
He said 5-MeO-DMT and DPT were good so he thought if you put them together 5-MeO-DPT would be really great, but it wasn't.
-
No, I heard from some other random guy that oxycodone mixed with fentanyl was the "sweetest" thing he ever experienced and the best he ever felt ever. But I don't mean from some random guy, I mean from Leo. Like how Leo did 5-MeO-DPT and thought it was the worst chemical ever, it could be funny that way.
-
Still waiting for your fentanyl trip report.

I thought you told the kangaroo story before, but maybe it was someone else. Apparently that story is fake, which is yet another recontextualization. Gangurru means a specific species of kangaroo in the north, and then the Europeans applied that to all kangaroos.

ok Joe Rogan. At the end of all this you're gonna end up as a Kant scholar.

What do you think of Schopenhauer's quotes about Hegel? There's also Schopenhauer's argument for reincarnation:
-
Well, desire implies a subject and object, whereas joy is its own thing. Mirra said her husband Paul Richard was The Devil incarnated into a human, like Brother Justin from Carnivale.
-
The first issue began with The Wherefore of the Worlds (the English following the French), and in it Richard attributed the origin of the world to Desire. They were in perpetual disagreement on this subject, Richard saying, 'It is Desire,' and Sri Aurobindo, 'The initial force of the Manifestation is Joy.' Then Richard would say, 'God DESIRED to know Himself,' and Sri Aurobindo, 'No, God had the Joy of knowing Himself.' And it went on and on like that!

@Ero No, I saw the irony perfectly fine. I just didn't know that's literally what your response would be.

You dare use my own vocabulary against me, and this time using the British spelling variant. It's not true. It's just some idea Leo came up with. And it takes a LOOOOONNNGGG time for Leo to correct his ideas he concluded were absolutely the case. Now I'll be nice to everybody and fully switch to the light side, not because it's the one true path but because you asked me to in a coherent non-contradictory way and I like you. Words like "buddy" and "bro" mean "I'm an angry internally self-pitying aggressive male, let me pee on you to mark my territory". That's what it means, just to let you know. It's probably just a language barrier because you're from Oompa-Loompa Land which Willy Wonka said was a terrible wartorn starving country, and that's why all your arguments are based on your upbringing rather than any observable or provable facts about the actual topic at hand. Yes, "my family almost died, terrorists in my country kill people to death by drowning them with machetes as children die from systemic leprosy" is "me me me" whining and linear human dialogue. I would send you healing light and love, but it seems like the universe itself is rejecting you. I'll try anyway. In case you're wondering about the statistics of this, I placed a lethal curse on 8 figures in a one-year period, 6 of them died in that period (the exceptions being protected force-holding figures like Putin or Trump, who survived his two attempts). The 6 who died were recorded as follows: Robert Bruce I intended to be killed. I visualized a rusty piece of rebar going into his head and destroying his head and face and removing it all from reality. The rebar is called the "massive metal bar" and with the mantra "a massive metal bar put through your skull" or "robert bruce is so nasty he needs a massive metal bar put through his skull". It was determined he should die as soon as possible from a heart attack to improve the conditions of the earth, it's a net positive. Then that year he died from, I believe, a heart attack. Around the same time I also placed a curse on the band Anti-Flag and visualized the massive metal bar being put through the faces of the Anti-Flag members, specifically Justin Sane with various intent of purification or getting rid-of or resolving the problems there (although there was NOT an intent for death), and then the band broke up after allegations came out against Justin Sane. [11:23 AM] David Lynch I believe was targeted twice. In spring 2023 I visualized the massive metal bar going through his skull with the intent or idea that he probably just shouldn't be around anymore, as harsh as that may be, when I was disgusted by him playing a trumpet for an ALS fundraiser video, or that it just wouldn't be too bad for him to leave. He did not seem ill, it seemed unlikely for him to die but with the intent that he could die of a heart attack or be killed relatively soon or relatively expedited. Then in fall 2024 because of how bad Boston Legal was I also put the massive metal bar through the guy who played Captain Kirk (who was already dead obviously) and some other guys meant to purify but not necessarily kill, though recalling previously putting the bar through Lynch and then delegating that "whatever should happen to him or what's determined should happen to him is what should happen and will happen". Then he died of a heart attack I believe recently. Daniel Dennett was clean-cut in how it happened. I determined his eliminative materialism and ignorance were detrimental to earth and visualized the massive metal bar destroying him, enlisting the help of the entity / Castaneda's ally Minx (which it really was) to kill him. The idea or knowledge that his death could happen soon, and the intent he would die of a heart attack. That year 2024 he did. [11:23 AM] I visualized the massive metal bar going through my grandfather's head to create a hole or at least a physically tangible breakage point, and then he later had a hole in his head caused by an infection and a medical procedure. I visualized the massive metal bar (visualize is not the right word, it's seen but not seen and has a real energetic mass, it's not just mental) going through Roger's neck with the intent he would die of cancer (even though he was young and statistically unlikely to die, that somehow he would die anyway). He contracted HPV cancer through oral sex in his neck and then clinically died during a medical procedure though had felt bad about it and previously told healers to heal him, so the clinical death allowed through the death intent though its temporariness allowed through the healing. Igor Kirillov I visualized the massive metal bar going through his skull and did think about him being killed, and much like David Lynch thought, "what's determined should happen to him should happen to him", and then (this was around the same time I sent my soul to assist the Ukrainians, their leaders and legions) he was assassinated with a bomb by the Ukrainians. Also my neighbor. I placed two curses on him to kill him around the same time, because I thought he was two different people but was one. The first one was a visualization of the massive metal bar with a definite intent he would be killed by a heart attack in spite of his lack of age. The second one was a visualization of the bar going through a hypothetical version of the person, if I would say it should happen if I knew more then it will happen. Weeks later he died of a heart attack in a swimming pool that I would associate with the emanations of the watery world of the inorganic beings such as Minx (a being in league with and written about by Carlos Castaneda who gave it to one of his students Daniel Lawton, who sent it to me) that I was in contact with during that time. This is a real being. In conclusion this type of power could also be used for healing, as is well documented elsewhere.

@Ero I tried to drag you out of the river kicking and screaming, and you're still traumatized by it, months later, demanding justice, when it was something totally impersonal. The moderator who "saved" you was saccharine, and needed to nourish you. The mods are fake spiritual evil snowflakes with cloying ethics, but they're led by a strict-minded authoritarian Leo man. Leo is great on his own, but this system is terrible. Anyway, the point of this thread is future interesting incidents, like if there's a NoSelfSelf pt. 2 and Sincerity gets into a crazed fight with Leo and starts harassing, spamming, and threatening other users with violence or something neat like that.
-
No, most of the moderation is totally unnecessary, the mods are true believers though. Imagine society is a river filled with feces, like the Ganges, and everybody is swimming and jumping in the sludge and covering themselves in it, like this normal spirituality is like a river of mud, rather than a river shit. It doesn't get rid of the normal linear human dialogue and perception, it just pacifies it with fantasies and pretending to try to make it less horrible. The socialization is "more genuine" (not). If you want someone to crawl out of one of the two rivers to wash them off they'll feel cold once they get on dry land, and lonely. The whole world should be reorganized, let alone an internet forum.

The closest thing to the Awakened comedian you were talking about was Bill Hicks Though sure we could do better.
