in science, you find the evidence first, and then you believe. as counterintuitive as it might seem though, religion works in the opposite way. you believe FIRST, then you may or may not find the evidence

@Someone here look at edit. It's a "leap" of faith, that's the important thing. It takes COURAGE to believe without evidence, it is NOT foolishness.

I don't talk about mental health any more. I'm too aware of the fact that this world is pure suffering. The idea of mental illness is a falsehood, denying the fact that suffering is inherent. It's only when you are awake that you can make the distinction

We can't just admit that we're all suffering can we? There always has to be someone to blame. We're all the same. Stop hurting people just because you're hurting inside. It's not that difficult. Deal with your own trauma. Forgive those who have done you harm. Don't continue the cycle of abuse. Bring Heaven to Earth.

I would posit that everyone is really looking for peace rather than love. Love is fleeting and dependent upon circumstance, whereas peace can be accessed at any time. In other words, one can't rely on love.

I realised my problem. I was trying too hard. At everything. The real trick is to "not try", and just let things happen naturally. Instead of forcing meditation, for example, with some special technique, one should just allow things to take their course without any effort. Just thought I'd share, so that someone may be helped by this insight.

Does anyone else start thinking they are Jesus? I know this might be psychosis or something, but I usually get these delusions when I'm alone and having a drink. Anyone else?
