  1. Part of working on yourself is to not get triggered by how others respond to you. You have no control how people respond to you, but you do have control over whether to be triggered or reactionary. I personally don’t believe spirituality is anti human. If it is then it’s misguided spirituality imo. I don’t think spirituality is in denial of the human experience do you? Is that what this thread topic is dealing with or not?
  2. I’m pleased to hear you are doing the work, that’s important. That’s all I was emphasising, how important it is to do the work for ourselves. I would love nothing more than to share the work here on this thread with you and others. Do you have a question for me?
  3. I’ve only just today discovered this thread. So haven’t given it much attention yet. I don’t mind talking about the thread topic actually , but I thought I’d just do some reading here first. I responded to that one post because I agreed with the principle that was being pointed out to you that’s all. Asking questions and asking for clarification is how I roll. I personally don’t want to become doubtful or argumentative with other posters just because I don’t understand what they are talking about. That’s why I’m asking questions a lot, and then also answering questions a lot in the anticipation that a mutual understanding is reached and that can only occur by asking for clarification and not just being reactionary by misunderstanding, or misinterpreting something you’re hearing.
  4. I agree with the advice given. Which is to do the work yourself. I’m not a mod and yet that’s my motto too.
  5. Ok I understand what you are showing me here, but what about in the dream. Why can’t the dream within the empty awareness be the appearance of a solipsistic nature due to the dream being inseparable from the dreamer? I’m simply trying to grasp Leo’s Solipsism idea, having watched the solipsism video several times, I kind of get it, I agree with Leo on the idea.
  6. Do you mean there’s nothing beyond the prison walls of the mind?
  7. I’m posting because I enjoy participating on the Leo Gura forum. It’s a form of entertainment.
  8. Why can’t One Truth or Awareness itself be just another word for Solipsism?
  9. I have no argument with myself.
  10. Excellent advice. “ I can do nothing for you but work on myself. You can do nothing for me except work on yourself “
  11. Every question demands an answer. No word can define or describe pure consciousness/ pure being/what is. Or, every word describes or defines pure consciousness/pure being/what is.
  12. Yes, thanks for the clarification. Consciousness not being inside or outside of any thing, rather being everywhere at once as omnipresent? Eh!
  13. The body is a non physical idea arising in consciousness? A consciousness that has no direct experience of what it feels like to be a physical body part. For example: I am conscious of a hand, but I am not that hand. And the hand knows nothing of its existence in and of itself, it’s basically just an idea in consciousness only ? Eh!
  14. “There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.” ~Hindu proverb
  15. It’s true. You can’t know enlightenment, because you are enlightenment.
  16. Definitely true. Death, or “non life” cannot be because there’s Life without doubt or error. If death was true then nothing would be alive. Consciousness, life, alive, these are just different words that mean the same identical meaning.
  17. Yes, I agree with what you are pointing to here. 👍 It’s all the same one love action dreaming difference where there is none. It’s beautiful and ugly. Just two sides of the same coin, to coin a phrase.
  18. Leo has said it takes a lot of thinking and much deep self introspection practicing in order to enter the nondual reality of being. And that to recognise our innate sense of divine sovereignty known as God is already within each and every one of us. I happen to agree with Leo on this point. Personally though, I think the purpose of the game is to end the game and live out the rest of eternity shining. 🌞
  19. Yes, I’ve felt absolute love during some crying bouts. And yes it definitely feels like there’s no me present, there’s just this raw emotion wanting out, the emotion feels like an aching sadness for something, but I can’t seem to fathom it? Unless I’m just tired of being alive or something, I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve also heard that many animals mourn the deaths of their own species as well. I don’t know, it’s like what Osho said about awareness being a disturbance, and yet at the same time feels like an ecstasy.
  20. The dream is all there is. It’s really okay to suffer and die, because everything is possible in a dream. Potentially anything can happen in a dream. It’s all perfect including suffering and pain.
  21. Yes, I’m already doing the crying and giving away stuff for free part.. But nothing changes. Humans do what humans do. In the same context it’s no good judging or chastising a dog for what dogs do.
