  1. For me, it’s pointless to talk about this to those people not conscious of it. Sanity for me, is keeping it to myself, with the exception of people of the same ilk. Like here on this forum. Sanity for me, is being able to bear & endure solitude. That’s where the real beauty of me is discovered, it’s heaven actually.
  2. We do because we’re conditioned to believe there is an individual doer. And in that case, every action is comparable to a hobby, even doing nothing all day can be someone’s hobby. Lol
  3. Okay, so are you suggesting that the real is directly tested as being this immediate unwritten here and now?
  4. I wonder what she means by that? It’s unclear, it’s as if distraction is needed to maintain one’s sanity of knowing absolute truth. IDK.
  5. Okay, but is that knowledge written above, an absolute truth, in your opinion, or is just something you believe?
  6. What I do to ground myself is I tend to keep calm and carry on. That’s all I do, and it’s not even a practice, it’s effortless and light, there’s zero baggage, my life is empty and weightless now. In other words I never forget to tend my garden.
  7. I define basic common sense as awareness of individuality. No one can deny their individuality, can they?
  8. You still have to live as an individual wondering how it’s even possible to live as an individual. If there was no individual, there would be no such event as birth or death, which would run polar opposite to the reality you know and understand. That knowledge is quite basic common sense, even for you.
  9. The “You” is included in the coming and going. Without the birth of “you” and the death of “you” there would be no “individuals” essential for the “you’s” reality to make any sense. The truth is….” Individuals ” are the very experience of being human, so suffering and attachment is unavoidably an inevitable consequence of being human. This human experience seems to not only be bearable but endurable, and it has nothing to do with being spiritual or enlightenment or awakening to a higher consciousness. It’s just the natural process of what is ultimately this immediate order and chaos that is evolution in progress. In my humble opinion, and nothing else.
  10. @moonawakening444 I maintain my sanity by adopting pure acceptance, plus absolute total resistance to what is and what isn’t, not expecting situations to be any different, becoming the master of my own mind and emotions, constantly shifting my focus on becoming mindfully aware of living the path of least resistance. Letting go of what I cannot change and living from a state of pure surrender and non attachment.
  11. Yeah, unwritten fictional stories comparable to empty dreams.
  12. Humans are known. But it’s not known what knows the known.
  13. There’s not a some of us, there’s only consciousness reflecting itself, looking at it self. “Selves” are an auditory illusion of light and sound.
  14. Everyone has their own unique journey in life, and no matter how much you may want to guide or influence someone, they ultimately need to find their own way. Not you.
  15. Lovely. So much beauty and genuine pure heart. ♥️ Always a pleasure to read.
  16. No one is denying their humanity, nor giving themselves pole positions in the art of human expression into the actual nature of being a talking head human, Nemra. Expressing this discourse is just the other side of the proverbial coin so to speak. 😐
  17. Aren’t we all though. Aren’t we all just trying to understand the God of our own understanding. 😐 Let it be.
  18. It’s more to do with surrendering the “doer” by understanding the idea that there’s no “someone” like a little person inside the body who is in full control of its body. There isn’t, even though it kinda feels like there is. This is about surrendering to the illusory belief that there’s a separate little “ someone” called (me)who is the doer, doing everything, when in reality, there’s just everything doing everything. Totally, one without a second. Doing is done, no doer thereof, where actions and events occur through natural, total functioning, but there is no separate, independent ego or “individual agent” behind them. That’s all James is pointing to.
