  1. Every thing is not conscious because consciousness is not a thing. Things are not conscious, things have no consciousness.
  2. @Breakingthewall Ramana also said: “When the ‘I’ is divested of the ‘I’ only the ‘I’ remains.” He never denies the polishing practice. The polishing practice is a human idea after all. Ramana was a human mind. The practice of polishing the human mind dissolves it completely until it ceases to exist. That’s the purpose of the polishing practice, it’s to clear the veil to reveal an absolute clearer vision. In other words: One can be aware without consciousness, but one cannot be conscious without awareness. Awareness is the sky (always there), and consciousness is the clouds (temporarily appearing and disappearing. The human mind is a mythical entity, it’s a ghost in the machine.
  3. There can’t be an absolute truth because absolute truth is already being. A relative truth about the absolute is absurd.
  4. To disidentify with the ego is to trace the I-thought back to its source, which is the Self or Essential I of pure awareness. In this process, of course, the mind never gets to the source. It dissolves upon approach, like rays of light reflected off a mirror back into the sun from which they originated.End of knowledge. “The muses are ghosts, and sometimes they come uninvited.” ― Stephen King “We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.” ― Anaïs Nin
  5. Ramana Maharshi says: You are awareness. Awareness is another name for you. Since you are awareness there is no need to attain or cultivate it. All that you have to do is to give up being aware of other things, that is of the not-Self. If one gives up being aware of them then pure awareness alone remains, and that is the Self. Ramana Maharshi taught: The state of Self-realization, as we call it, is not attaining something new or reaching some goal which is far away, but simply being that which you always are and which you always have been. It is false to speak of realization. What is there to realize? The real is as it is always. We are not creating anything new or achieving something which we did not have before. . . . Liberation is our very nature. We are that! There is no goal to be reached. There is nothing to be attained. You are the Self. You exist always. Nothing more can be predicated of the Self than that it exists. Seeing God or the Self is only being the Self or yourself. Seeing is being.
  6. Also, I gathered up all those juicy cherries every season, and the tree never once said “you owe me” 🍒 You’re welcome! Have a great day! 🙂
  7. It means enlightenment, or unconsciousness is already this reality. Enlightenment is already obvious and is prior to human language. Enlightenment / Unconsciousness is reality where thoughts and words do not exist already. Words, thoughts etc…are conceptually known models of reality, not actual reality. Models are synthetically and artificially created, models are imagined, therefore imagined models know nothing, in reality, except as belief, another imagined image. I can’t make this any clearer.
  8. What part of your body can know it’s alive or dead? Find the answer to that question, and report back with your findings.
  9. There’s nothing outside the text. . . linguistically, concepts are known, and that which is known, knows nothing.
  10. 🫶 I once told my son that the cherry tree in our garden sees itself as and through your eye. He laughed at me for saying that. 🫢
  11. Have you noticed that everyone who has ever died in this waking dream has disappeared in the exact same way that everyone in a nightly dream has disappeared. Is something seen as a solid tangible image ever real to you if the image can both appear and disappear ? Is something seen as a solid tangible image that can appear and disappear to you be absolute proof of a witness? Awakening, or witnessing, or being aware, is simply a continuous waking up to the conscious recognition that you are conscious of the dream. You can only be conscious you are dreaming. As the eternal witness, You are always lucid. Lucid of the dream. You can never become conscious of being unconscious of the dreamless state, or the stateless state.
  12. "I love you, with no beginning, no end. I love you as you have become an extra necessary organ in my body. I love you as only a girl could love a boy. Without fear. Without expectations." — Unknown
  13. Question: What is Love? Answer: Love is the one question to all our answers.
  14. To recall it would be a return to an ego that died. There’s no coming back from that sort of death. It would be like trying to put a butterfly back into its cocoon. Integration completed absolutely.
  15. I cannot speak of my samadhi awakening. I didn’t survive it. 😱
  16. Yes. Even nowhere is still somewhere. Zero-Energy Universe Hypothesis: This theory proposes that the total amount of energy in the universe is zero, with positive matter energy exactly canceled by negative gravitational potential energy, suggesting that from nothing, everything (or "nothingness") can emerge.
  17. Thanks for your reply; my response; Yes, I’ve gone through something that felt like that kind of total shift. 😐 To describe this shift I can only guess death is never an event. It’s a state that awareness can never become aware of, unlike aliveness, which is the only event of which there’s no horizon to be crossed.
  18. Zero distance between the seer and the seen.
  19. Because you cannot prove oneness is proof of oneness.
  20. Interesting! 🧐 Here goes my two pence…. To be conscious of being alive is to simultaneously be conscious of being dead. Because that which lives, never died, and that which died, never lived. To be conscious of…requires a duality of subject and object, inseparably one and the other both, yet neither. 😵‍💫
  21. Many authors appear. But there’s only one reader of writing no one ever writ. The story is inseparable from the book.
  22. Indeed, there’s no way back except back in. 😂 lol 🙏 Thanks. “Balance” is the sweet spot, for sure. ✔️
  23. How does it feel for you personally, now that you’re conscious of it? For me, it’s both brutal and heavenly at the same time. And I have absolutely no idea how to explain that to another human being. It’s like I’m conscious of living and dying forever, and that nothing started this IT And because nothing started it informs nothing can stop it. It’s both terrifying and beautiful beyond belief.
  24. We do because there’s the belief in an individual doer. It’s that simple. That’s the problem of knowledge, of knowing you know, the curse of being conscious, of being aware.
