Yeah of course, but so what, it’s still a nothing burger. It’s nothing special. Once upon a time I would be offended by words, but now I’m not anymore. I’ve seen through their illusory nature. They are nothing to me now. -

It’s possible because I’m living testimony of the possibility. It’s not even pretty or ugly or anything really, I don’t care about labels anymore. I understand the conceptual dream for what it is, and it doesn’t frighten me, or really excite me to be perfectly honest. I’m just completely neutral these days. -

I know enough about nothing to understand there was no intention on your part to come across as disrespectful. I have stopped talking labelling personally. So no problem, have a wonderful individual experience. 🙂 it’s all you’ll ever know whilst you’re experiencing this temporal knowing. -

Shit happens. And I’m absolutely fine about that. It’s just what it is. -

Well I don’t actually care. I’m just happy being a nothing burger. -

I’ve only claimed the sense of separation has fallen away. The rest is in the details, which I’m not particularly interested in tbh, labelling this and that is just pointless spiritual jargon, all rather unnecessary. All I know is that there’s absolutely nothing being me, and that’s that, full stop. And how am I supposed to know what 4 random capital letters are supposed to mean? -

I don’t think that’s possible to have no sense of self. The sense of self whether it’s impersonal or personal still arises as and through the body. It’s just that I no longer believe there’s a “ someone” who owns these arisings, rather, I understand them to have no author. Neither is there any control of them, they just pop in and out of awareness without any prior warning, unscripted and without restriction or limit. -

What does DPDR mean? I function as an ego of course I do, but the difference is I know it’s not my ego, I know no one owns or controls my ego, my ego is simply everything functioning as an ego. That’s all. -

What do you mean when you say that the you here are currently not depersonalised? -

As for the thread title. I agree. From the perspective of myself here, there’s nothing else is happening. I only experience reality from here. From the perspective of someone else’s I, there’s nothing else happening, there’s only the experience of reality from the I there. I understand that the I is just another word for awareness which is unlocalised everywhere at once, and yet is localised in the knowing. Of course there’s going to be I’s in this writing, how else is it going to make sense to the reader. The I is the story of selfing. -

I’ve only just come to read this thread for the first time, so have not been aware of the discussion. I switched off notifications arriving in my email, so I have no awareness of what’s being discussed on this forum unless I intentionally choose to read a thread. I don’t read many threads and definitely not all of them. Just the ones I am particularly interested in, which is not many tbh. I can confirm that my sense of separate self has fallen away permanently. And is why I am able to fully comprehend Jim’s message without any struggle or confusion. Best regards. -

No one knows this. You are the knowing that cannot be known. ( Your self ) implies an object known. That which is Known, knows nothing. “ If the "Absolute" implies an all-encompassing unity, any attempt by a part to know the whole creates a separation. To know an object, a subject-object split is required, which contradicts the very nature of absolute oneness. This logic—often explored in Eastern philosophies like Advaita Vedanta or Western mysticism—suggests that you can only be the Absolute, not observe it objectively. The moment you try to conceptualize it, you turn it into a relative thought. “ -

To be honest, most of what I’m reading from him just sounds like blah blah blah, but to him it’s obviously his way of putting this into words, so good for him. I don’t actually care. He’s the only one inside his mind, not others. -

I have no problem with how you interpret the infinite absolute. That’s all on you according to your personal unique definition. However, how you interpret it there, is not how I here am personally interpreting it. -

I’m not resisting anything. I’m just allowing anything to be as it is. My observation follows the motto, ( this too will pass) -

Yes, that why I said you are the knowing that cannot be known. You are infinity in-finite, captured one freeze frame at a time infinitely unfolding eternally. -

The mind that can stake a claim to know, can flip the knowledge over to its opposite and can stake a claim to not-know. These claims are artificial constructs within the dream of separation only , and do not exist beyond the language known. Whatever thoughts model reality to be, will not be it, because the known is simply a synthetically created representation, not what actually is. What actually is is unknowable. Knowledge is an artificial construct, a useful tool nonetheless for the character construct appearing within the dream of separation to navigate and make sense of the dreamscape known to it via its constructive conception. Albeit illusory. Infinity cannot be conceived of, it only appears to be conceived of via the mind, which is relative, yet even the mind is an illusion, because relative knowledge of the absolute is bordering on absurdity. -

The absolute is all there is. The absolute knowing that cannot be known. You cannot know the absolute because you are the absolute. When you say “ they” say the absolute cannot be known, and that’s a lie. It’s not a lie, it’s actually true because the relative is a temporal appearance. The appearance of a character can never really know what lies beyond the veil of the known character as much as game characters in a video game can’t see the console on which they are being played. -

What appears to can, never canned. That doesn’t negate the can, it’s simply seen as illusory. No one knows this. 😎 -

It’s never escaped my notice that you’ve always understood with absolute clarity, what is actually being pointed to. Kudos to you. 👊
