Or, is knowledge pushed out in the form of words just fictional story telling that is authored by the mind. So whose mind is it, exactly. Can the mind ever be seen in one’s direct experience. Knowing is about knowledge which is all in the mind. What then do we imagine we are talking about, exactly?

Just because nobody knows the truth that you do not exist, and there is no owner of thoughts and feelings, it does not mean thoughts and feelings will magically go away. Where would they go. There’s nowhere to go but here. Nobody has seen a thought or a feeling. That’s the magical nature of the in visible empty seeing. Emptiness looking at Emptiness forever. -

We can’t land on having no place to land. Thoughts and language are in a constant free fall. Thought and language are not understood as referring to fixed objects that pre-exist in a world outside language. Existence, non-existence, things, words, none of these things can be found to be truly there in an objective way. Knowledge can only point to the illusory nature of reality. -

The You is just like the Santa, both not real. But Seeing is real. That’s what you have to see. Try to see that there is no You, as there is no Santa. Seeing is not an object seen, the seen see nothing. Only the seeing sees, not you, which is the seen. No you is necessary for seeing to occur. -

Asking what dies is identical to asking what lives. In reality..that which lives never dies, and that which dies never lives. If you know you live, then you know you’ll die. Surrender to the inevitable and be with peace forever, in life or death, it’s the same peace. There’s a place of perfect peace, but it seems like no one wants to live there. -

Not everyone is in surrender mode. Let’s be clear about this. -

Very good. 🙂 I just know that it’s not the I that knows, and that the I is known, but not by I The I that is known is a known. And the known cannot know. -

There’s nothing to explain about how to surrender. Surrender is as effortless as breathing. There’s no how. -

It is, yes, and it’s very easy to let go, and that’s true liberation, the freedom from the fear of truly letting go. Maybe some don’t understand this radical freedom, but I do, and you do too James, I see it. It’s pure beauty because it’s giving everything back to God. It’s pure bliss. -

Well I’m only talking from my own personal direct experience. I have personally discovered an awesome freedom from owning thought, and the false belief that thoughts are “my thoughts” There’s just observation noticing that thoughts are completely free flowing, they come and go, and there’s nothing making them come and go, and there’s nothing to stop them from coming and going. This is simply noticed that there’s no ownership controlling thoughts at all. -

Correct me if I’ve interpreted you wrong, but is what you mean by freedom, the freedom that comes with not owning anything, especially from owing thoughts, like when we sometimes say thoughts are “my thoughts” But real freedom is not being obsessed with the idea of being the owner of thoughts, but to recognise it’s only the mind that makes them about you. And that this owned you, is not the real you. When you realise thoughts are not about the real you, they could simply come and go, and your attention would be freed up from the slavery of owning the thoughts. That’s an awesome freedom, yes? -

I really understand that James. Very well put. Once again, I’m in agreement. 💯 Thanks for the clarification. -

When you say it’s not about knowledge, but, the ownership of knowledge, do you mean like this… There is no you to know, but only knowing. There is no you to live your life, but only life. There is no you to comprehend, but only comprehension. There is no you to think, but only thought. There is no you to feel, but only feelings. There is no you to love, but only love. No you to die, but only death. No you to exist, but only existence. No you to understand, only understanding. No you to see, only seeing. No you to be, only being. No you to be aware, just awareness. ??? -

“Deep rivers run quiet.” — Haruki Murakami This quote reminds us that true depth often shows itself in silence. Just as rivers flow powerfully beneath the surface, people with wisdom and strength don’t need to be loud. Their calm presence speaks volumes, offering peace and insight without noise. -

LoL That's a classic, witty line often attributed to the Irish playwright and poet Oscar Wilde, expressing a love for light conversation, small talk, or perhaps even idle gossip, by ironically claiming it's the one subject he truly understands, making it a relatable and humorous observation about human conversation. Meaning: It's a paradoxical statement (epigram) that suggests shallow topics are easy to discuss because they require little depth or commitment, unlike profound subjects that might reveal one's own ignorance. Context: It's often used to describe enjoying trivial conversations or social banter, finding comfort in its simplicity. Wilde's Style: This quote fits perfectly with Oscar Wilde's wit and his famous epigrams that challenged conventional wisdom. -

Is the knowing that cannot be known. It’s not a “someone” that knows. You are the “knowing” that cannot be known. Knowledge is an accumulation of information stored to memory, it’s about as real as paint upon a blank canvas. -

The truth is already this immediate aliveness living and permeating as and through every physical body without doubt or error. Ultimately, Nothing can know itself without splitting into two things, into a knower and the known. Common sense reveals life is one seamless, ever unfolding process, always under construction that never completes. -

The step back is the key. We never entertain the idea of being outside the realm of self-centeredness because it’s taken root in us and we are identified with it. 🔐 A still mind can be likened to a still wind. Ultimately, stillness and silence is what is craved the most, the absolute truth of selfless being. Seen everywhere in unconditioned animals and nature, even in humans, yes, even the sense of self identity can be seen through as an illusory self, empty at its very core of appearing to be a self centred being. In reality it’s a centreless centre, that is everywhere at once absent of any boundary or circumference. -

God is silent. God is truth. There’s no requirement to know anything at all, except in this conception, the fictional story of I am God. The nameless will continue to be nameless despite the artificial imposition of an appeared name. An object is known, and yet every known object, knows nothing of it’s creator. . The “sense of self” label should not be mistaken for an actual self. It is just a label. If you take a jacket and stick a label on it that reads “Armani,” is the jacket now a real Armani? -
Mellowmarsh replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The Quintessential Quietness of being is the only authentic truth. And is prior to knowing prior to knowledge. Your knowledge isn't yours it's collective memory, creating your perceived reality and "self". Knowledge therefore, is a fiction, it’s not the silent truth. To think about truth is interference, which serves only as a distractive distortion of truth. Truth involves functioning directly, like animals, responding to stimuli without the need for continuous interpretation or retention of knowledge. I agree with you James. Your comments make more coherent sense to me than anything I’ve ever read before. Sometimes I will ask you questions or even challenge your ideas, but ultimately I know you are pointing to a truer truth when you say give everything back to God. I totally resonate with that sentiment. -

Thing is I desire to understand Leo, and James and Joseph equally and not just favour one more than the other.
