Yes, it seems Americans have indeed stooped this low. It's a reflection of their frustrations and the choices they feel are available to them To add: the unwillingness of the establishment to take responsibility for what's been termed "Trumpism" will only lead to more excesses. Mark my words.

Trump has neither real policies nor the competence to implement them (even if he did have some), and he's far from a genuine conservative... so what's new? My response here is to the topic of this thread- he resonates with people who feel dismissed, unheard, and frustrated with the usual empty promises. If you're claiming that their grievances and sense of alienation aren't legitimate, you're sorely mistaken -

Ask a Trump voter, touch grass, and you'll find out -

I'm not saying that Trumpism embodies any universal values, nor did I ever imply that it does. If anything, it represents a backlash against the existing institutions or 'the system' and as some voters/supporters see it- a kind of last resort for people wanting to shake things up. That's not exactly the same as having universal values. At most, it reflects a tactical move rather than any deep, universal principles -

Thank you for your response, even though it's exactly the same every time. You've perfected your opinion on this matter down to a T. As per usual with your communication, there's an important emotional element at play (verging on hysteria sometimes), especially when discussing "Trumpism" and its perceived effects on social fabric and the values you think everyone should hold. Lets be real, the concept of a "chaos agent" doesn’t imply full moral endorsement, rather, it reflects an attempt by some to reshape or at least push against a system they view as inherently resistant to reform. This isn’t unique to Trump. Obama and Bernie also drew votes from those who felt disenfranchised. It's a valid sentiment, despite your judgments. I understand that a chaotic influence in leadership can be seen as a danger rather than a solution. But this phenomenon also reveals a significant disconnect and sense of alienation felt by a large portion of the American public, which is worth examining rather than dismissing outright, especially in the way that's common to your types. I’m not willing to say that 80+ million people voting for Trump are simply a low-consciousness, morally deficient bunch. Ironically, that's just as much a "one data point" judgment as what you call "bad thinking" You are so convinced of your position and denigrate others who "leave room" for other interpratations, that it's laughable if you knew how Reality works. Which you don't, despite your grandiose claims to the contrary. Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn’t bother responding, because it’s clear you’ll just rant the same way you’ve done for months. We get it. -

This is gold -
I don't think that this particular talk changed any minds; however, it might have assisted in mobilizing voters for sure. People might decide that it's better to choose a known "evil" rather than someone who is fundamentally hidden from them. Simple as

I would be willing to bet that at least some Trump voters (not necessarily supporters) see their vote as the only way to shake things up a bit. America has deep underlying problems that most Americans are unwilling to face, but everyone intuitively senses they're there. The only way they seem to cope with this is by entrenching in extreme infighting – it's the only way some feel they have power. From a European perspective, where multi-party systems are more common and there's a tradition of recognizing that different groups have different needs and interests, it's clear that the only way forward is to find common ground, not to ignore large swathes of the country or dismiss them as "low-consciousness" people. The way some people are talking here wouldn't fly in Europe – if for nothing else, just for the lack of tact, even if there's a hint of truth in what's being said. There's a lot of anger in these discussions, and it probably stems from failed personal relationships, psychological struggles, and the widespread use of SSRIs, all of which translate into aggressive attitudes. The self-righteousness and the assumption that only one "right" answer exists really limit the depth of the conversation here. And let's not forget there's at least some overlap between Trump, Obama, and Bernie voters. You can't say the same person is "high-consciousness" when they vote for Bernie and then "low-consciousness" when they vote for Trump. Some of you guys are so reductionist, seeing everything in black and white, right or wrong, high or low consciousness, conned or not conned. Can’t you see how shallow this interpretation of reality is? -
unhinged.

How do you know that? Bigger in what sense? If he couldn't pull it off while in power, what are the chances he could do it now? You used to be a voice of reason around here, what happened? Like month or two ago. This is alarmist bullshit and you know it.

You must be new here (don't mind my post number) -
I would guess the same. I watched her recent appearances, and they don’t serve her well. It seems that after every public appearance, the bookies decrease her chances by a couple of points. In my country, you can triple your money if you bet on Kamala. That’s rough.

So, nothing out of the ordinary, I reckon? You seem extremely dedicated to this political spiel. I hope you're getting paid for it (and not just helping others get theirs).

Hi, Doc. The reality of the situation is that Trump is most likely to be the winner of this election cycle. My question to you is: what’s next?
-
I didn't because I said I wouldn't. I did read it tho. To be honest, it made me chuckle, how you invented a whole backstory for me and our supposed relationship on the forum, created a whole dynamic out of nothing, backed up ofc by your supposed "deep epistemological work and psychedelics". Sorry to disappoint, buddy, but I'm not your long lost friend/nemesis. You just seem like a professional victim, and you already said what you have to say. I completely agree about the idea of a Kamala or Joe Derangement Syndrome. That’s the real issue, isn’t it? When both sides view each other as existential threats, how do we expect the other side to react when one inevitably loses? This dynamic is fundamentally flawed. I'm not promoting 'both-sideism'; I agree that Trump may be a legitimate threat, and I recognize that Kamala largely represents the status quo. However, your nation's current status quo is one of deterioration—haven't you noticed? Both candidates are likely to continue down this path, just in different ways. My point is more about questioning the extent to which this older, not particularly competent leader actually constitutes a threat. After all, you’re inevitably heading toward one, aren’t you? I understand the argument for choosing the 'lesser evil,' but if that choice is responsible for the rise of the so-called greater evil, what then? If both choices lead to even greater harm—just through different pathways—should we really be demonizing each other now? In a way, aren’t You demonizing Yourself?

Case in point.

Sorry, Princess, just my way of searching for silver lining in this

You most certainly are not. It's relevent because you are a liar, and this provides context for others choosing to communicate with you. You are a sick man.

Exactly. They wan't more freedom to do what they want.

This is the only time I will address you. I did not and will not engage you, that's why you weren't tagged. I was sharing my impressions with other forum members. You are not worth a second of anyones time. You are only allowed to write this shit here as an example for others how incredibly blind one can get with his twisted ideology. Every message you send only pushes people further away from the argument you're trying to make. Keep posting! It's not working.

This thread, the previous one, and the big locked one had other Jewish people who were highly skeptical of the Zionist project and the way it's being conducted, Lyubov f.e.. I'm not against jewish people, nor I am for dismantling Israel. But people claiming that they have rights to a land (and in turn do anything to get it) because Bible says so or because they somehow relate to people who lived there 2000+ ago, should have no voice in deceiding on the issue. Paraphrasing Lyubov, one could confidently assert that there is more proof of Bigfoot compared to the "Kingdom of Israel". Even tho I look childish to some, I advocate for the situation to be taken over by mature individuals. I hate this issue and what it's doing to the world's security and future prospects. Everyone will have to live with the consequences of what’s happening now, one way or another.

I had in mind that they don't offer nothing of value to me (that's why I don't see a need to engage in discussion), though I see value in their posting here. I hope to exceed your expectations.

I'm sorry

The people I called zionists are zionists, where are you going with this? Nowhere did I say that all jews are zionists, that's misrepresentation from you.

This is the only time I will address you, so don't bother commenting back. I will not engage you, others already did. You run in circles and offer nothing of value. But I invite you to keep posting.
