If a woman is in ovulation they tend to be different. So I don’t think all women want a LTR. Especially during this period they show different behavior. On the long term most aim for LTR but from a certain type of guy with a perceived value. Usually it is a guy that other women want which creates a halo effect or rockstar effect on a small scale. That is why desperation is such turn off because you subconsciously signaling “nobody wants me” although that might not even be the case. She is subconsciously picking up on what you are laying down. After reading this book (I haven’t finished it) but you will see that all problems are self made. Especially other people’s problems, dramas, and tragicomedies are self made and it can be clearly seen. Then I realized if other people’s problems are self made then my problems are self made too. And it is much more difficult to see my own bullshit. I couldn’t see through my own problems when I looked at my problems at “human time”. Humans don’t think on long term. Humans usually think in terms of days and weeks while some very successful people think in months and years while if you really want to see through shit you have to think in infinity. Every moment is infinity. The book until now is the book of not knowing 2.0 and it is very refreshing. Reading that book prior is necessary though. I tried to listen to the book but one really needs to put all of the attention of the book to get anything out of it.

That is like saying gravity is suffering. Yes it is suffering if you don’t know how to deal with gravity and keep falling and injuring yourself. Ending suffering shouldn’t be the end all be all of things. The truth can cause a lot of suffering but it is a process that is worth while. I think you have it ass backwards. Suffering is just a force of nature. Of the psyche. A necessary part of the mat-rix. Not feeling suffering while you should feel suffering is where the real damage happens. People numb themselves with alcohol and drugs for this reason.

@Breakingthewall you are constantly misinterpreting his work. It is getting tiring to constantly have to correct you. Obviously there is necessary suffering but his book is called ending unnecessary suffering (that one creates with unnecessary additions of the mind)

Finished reading the book. It is basically the book of not knowing 2.0. It is so simple in the sense that truth speaks for itself. At the end of the book I thought “why didn’t I know this shit?”. I do recommend to make annotations or highlights. His books are always hard to digest sometimes.

How can truth be empowering but also be anti self?

The best way to develop this skill is through trail and error (and thus optimizing intuition). Just go on a lot of dates and care about your skills and principles more than the result you desire. A good way to do this is to go out with girls you don’t necessarily like and just run the set into the ground guns blazing.
