  1. Are the videos as good as Leo's or better? Do you have to do the Kriya Yoga every day? Does it work to make you feel better?
  2. It's an interesting study of spiral dynamics to listen to Bryan Johnson debate 20 people most of who are lower on the spiral in my opinion. Bryan Johnson is a self described systems thinker, and cares about the welfare of all, he also stays calm and didn't get triggered. I believe this makes him a stage yellow thinker while the other debaters are mostly their 1. The one woman who is clearly angry might even be stage red?
  3. This AI slop almost sounds like Megan D Stallion meets country 🤣
  4. Annual Spiritual Dick Measuring Contest! - Off-Topic: https://share.google/SdCppdOvFHwfkPMeK Let's go! Let's see who has the bigger spiritual dick!!!

  6. Yes in a way spirituality should make you know less and less, make you less sure, less confident, quieter, etc. Tao Te Ching – Verse 48 In pursuit of knowledge, every day something is added. In the practice of the Way, every day something is dropped.
  7. There was alot of over lap between @Leo Gura's conscious politics #4 about specific policy implementation and this debate. Seems like Bryan Johnson has some good ideas on how to make society healthier. I also like Bryan's idea that "not dying" is the only thing humanity has in common and is a theme that can unify the world.
  8. Exactly right, Islam can stop being true if you imagine it's not. Therefore it's not ultimately true.
  9. It really is a fascinating topic. Perhaps it's also like this: Imagine having children and then when they are a bit older they try to talk you into Scientology, Mormonism, or something similarly ubsurd to you.
  10. Man that's a great point. Reminds me of Uday Hussain, Saddam Hussein's son. Crazy story of a stage red entitled rich kid.
  11. On way we might see significant change (and justice) if an ANTI-Trump candidate comes into office next who will shake things up as much as Trump did but to the left.
  12. Great topic. I've lived in both and I've heard alot of people complain about Canada the same way as yourself. In the NC, USA it's not uncommon to get invited to BBQs and dinners and community events. In Canada everyone is polite and nice (except while driving) and then you don't hear from them. I'm assuming everyone road rages home and just watches Netflix?
  13. People are neither evil nor dumb they just think different than you.
  14. He makes alot of the same points as Leo does and I think talks about self help in a Tier II way. Here's is some great examples:
  15. Leo criticizes Disney in the most recent episode on conformity. I used to hate Disney for being a giant monopoly that pedals garbage on and of the screen. However after considering further I find Disney as merely a successful story telling company that tell stories of triumph, overcoming difficulties, equality, diversity, music, dreams, etc.. Take star wars for example. (I know it didn't start out as Disney) It's still a story about good and evil and how difficult it is for goodness to triumph and how seductive evil can be. These are timeless lessons that are equally as profound as any myth or legend that humans have been telling themselves for millennia. Most other Disney movies are stories about young kids rising up againsts unconscious and evil older people. Aren't stories like these a net benefit for society? Is Disney's only sin is that it's too successful and huge?
  16. Maybe poor hungry people don't have energy to riot? Also it's important to realize the vast majority of people don't read the news, inform themselves, or care about politics. Or if they do they get low quality information from Facebook. This makes it hard for us who do follow the news to understand why the majority act the way they do. Keep on rocking in the free world!
  17. Englightenment-dar, it's like gay-dar but for enlightened.
  18. Nothing is good or bad. For example, If some people want to wear colorful origami hats on their heads and insist we use the pronoun "fold/foldself" we should let them despite it being a slight inconvenience to us or society. I think it would be fun if we were free to create our own identities and could dress the way we want and be whoever we want. On the other hand we can't be surprised some people will think this is stupid. Just like many things people do are stupid but allowed. Some arguably stupid things people do and identify with: circumcision, buy expensive purses and watches and cars, join an organized religion, eat meat, eat vegan. These things are almost as much a part of identity as much as gender is. I especially like to think of the parallel between adult circumsion (child circumcision is child abuse) and trans surgery. Both are altering your genitals for your new deeply help identity. So in some sense trans is a delusion in another sense it's freedom of expression. Its interesting to think that men only wear "men's clothes" because of group think, conformity, and tradition. There's nothing inherently manly about a collared shirt and infact a few hundred years ago it was manly to wear skirts. So to truly break out of group think and conformity, like LGBTQ people claim they are doing, would one not care about what clothes one wears and put on anything? Or would they wear whatever clothes they like?
