"The Myth of Male Power" by Warren Ferral is an incredible book. Read this book to completely change your paradigm on gender. It's written by a prominent figure in the 70s feminist movement and it explains how men are the disposable sex and lots of other things too. Chattering on this forum is ok but nothing produces a deep paradigm shift than a book. Check it out. There's a short 3h interview with Ferral on Audible by the same title too for something shorter.

Leo talks a lot about rationality but it seems like irrationallity might be superior. In a similar way that scientists try to find a ground in a groundless universe, rationality seems to be trying to find a ground where there isn't one? Another example is psychedelic trips. They don't seem rational at all. Or are they? Why or why not? Please explain. And also please explain why Leo is talking about rationality so much. I thought he was a post-rational teacher.

Whether you think that or not there's many layers to these types of ideas. Here's a video that discusses some of these nuances very briefly. Interestingly, rulers are ultimately responsible for the outcomes of the group. Just like a CEO is responsible if a company goes bankrupt or does well. So whether we have a patriarchy or matriarchy all the negatives and positives can be blamed on who ever is in charge!

There's some good insights in this 5 min clip. Check it out if your interested

Even if he could there are things he can't do. -
Bro, you sound like you don't know either

Thanks for the reply. Your original question is good and here's my two cents: Yes truth can be detrimental but it can also set you free. All too often people find their soul mates when they have given up and stopped chasing. Trying to analyze and categorize how women think and act is a dead end that leads to being single for longer. Giving up, focusing on hobbies and being a happy, and loving and being nice to everyone equally (whether fat, disable, ugly, skinny, hot, young, old, male, female) is the surest way to have your soul mate drop into your lap. Im not joking. Women aren't stupid. When they see a guy like the one I described above they subtly or not so subtly throw themselves at him because he is a rare type of guy.

Here's my hot take: Relationships and sex both as an activity and a topic of discussion are for low consciousness individuals. That's why animals and the dumbest people on earth are still obsessed with it. Enlightened people don't struggle with sex, gender, and relationship issues - many are famously celebrate and reject it entirely. Why? Because the more conscious you get the less interested you are about these things. So if women are getting less interested in men it's because they are becoming more conscious. You could also say men are becoming less interested in women (in first world countries) evidenced by less rape, less polygamy, and less sex over all for the younger generations.

Rewatching the show right now. It's one of the greatest shows ever made due to the cinematography, acting, screen play, character development. I loved the themes that are thoroughly explored: crime, family, death, illness, corruption. Good vs evil and the overlap of the two. It's funny too at times.

Lol maybe. Maybe the realization that it was your last day would give you a "natural high" or at least dramatically shift your perspective.

This clip of Tucker and Nick discussing porn is funny. For some reason he claims it turns people gay.

All perspectives are partially wrong and incomplete. Therefore the trans perspective is too. (And so is the CIS perspective). Just because criticizing trans is super taboo in left wing circles doesn't mean Leo can't criticize it. Not sure if Leo's criticism is valid but I think he means that if you are getting depressed by the "wrong" clothing than your mind is unstable. Imagine if I put on a hat of the "wrong gender" and got depressed? This includes shoes, nail polish, etc... I always wondered if gender is a social construct how can you be born in the wrong gender?

When they bisect the hemispheres in the mind (for medical reasons) you get two minds from one. The concept of "other minds" could work like that too -
Lol good point man

Good question. It was one of the core concerns the Founding Fathers had. They were extremely wary of pure, direct democracy because they believed it could devolve into mob rule where passionate majorities make rash decisions without deliberation or safeguards. That’s why they designed the United States as a constitutional republic, not a simple democracy. The whole structure (Congress, the Senate, checks and balances, staggered elections) was built to slow things down, force debate, and filter public opinion through institutions meant to encourage reason instead of the crowd impulse. The founders knew that the system needed to be protected by both from the elites and the volatility of public passions. Read the biography of Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow for a fascinating and deep analysis of the founding of the US.

The longevity stuff is his life purpose. He's trying to achieve something that's never been done. It's like trying to break any record. Leo always talks about finding your life purpose, and that the world doesn't need more spiritual teachers. Johnson has a noble life purpose that makes people question what's possible and to rethink their relationship with their bodies. Yes he might go to extremes but it's a good way to get attention and push boundaries in a field.
