My parents were low key toxic AF, no positive reinforcement, no kind words, no pats on the shoulder, no usuable advice, no deep talks about important things, plenty of scapegoating the kids, blaming the kids for all family problems never themselves, cheap as fuck. We were financially very stable but parents had their heads up the Catholic priests ass so far they had no mind for the family.

Christianity has had a 2000 year trial period and it still hasn't created a perfect Christian heaven on earth. Couldn't God come up with a better plan? Couldn't God come up with a message that instantly and decisively convinces and converts the listener? isnt God powerful enought to come up with a message that is immune to corruption and misinterpretation? Yet Christians have been creating a whole bunch of devilery in the past 2000 years "in the name of God". Similarily if there is "One true God" why can't Christians agree with each other and create different sects? Muslims don't agree with each other either and they also claim there is "one true Allah".

Couldn't an "all-powerful" God create an uncorruptible religion? Because all religions can be corrupted is proof that they are created by humans. Yes there's some truth to the religions but they weren't created by a God in the sky.

This is the topic that the left is debating right now. I'm agree with Ezra Klein and the Abundance movement that says the left is too mainstream, too centrist, too status quo. We need more bold radical ideas that captivate and inspire people. Maybe not more trans issues but more radical ideas to solve income inequality and better messaging.

From the Chinese perspective Trump is very much the US. The individual is the society and the society is the individual as Krishnamurti would say. Ya Trump sucks but Trump is a product of toxic bipartisanship, and Democrat inaction and poor messaging. He is also democratically elected. If the citizens of a country are stupid enough to elect him then the country is on the same level as Trump and is just as stupid. If they were fooled they're stupid enough to be fooled.

I think I understand Trump's logic and I think I can stealman it pretty well. If we purchase more things from a country than it purchases from us we are losing money (and gaining goods). The US spends more money servicing it's debt than it doesn't on the military. Trump is trying to curb spending. His plan might make things even worse but at least he's addressing the debt issue that both sides of the aisle agree on is bad.

You aren't afraid to ask the dark questions my dude. There is no need to wonder, there are already serial killers all around us, your family members and friends are all serial killers because they eat meat. Where's the line between human and animal? Even vegetarians are serial killers for that matter since the distinction between animal and plant is also blurry. Soldiers are legal serial killers who are commissioned by the government. The line between a civilian and a terrorist is especially hazy.

If you can't strike up a conversation with your neighbor, or the gym attendant, or someone beside you on the bus stop then what chance do you have with someone who you are really attracted too? People like friendly outgoing socially comfortable people. Practise being that and you will be a magnet for romantic partners.

So practice leading the conversation in a direction that you are interested in. Whether that's humor or deep/personal topics. This is an essential skill in dating too
