Itzhak Bentov was an inventor and author who explored the nature of consciousness and reality. His ideas later appeared in declassified CIA documents about the Gateway Process. What do you all think?

Any job that you do consciously and passionately and it provides value to society and the world. The world needs enlightened everything: health care workers, grocery store workers, bankers, even janitors (if that's all you can get right now) You can make a difference in any job as long as you make the world a better place for the people and environment you encounter.

Ya that's an incredible insight. Glad you shared that.

Exactly, choosing defending and arguing a side has become a dysfunction of its own. It has become a litmus test of both sides to prove you are either on the left or the right. -
Welcome, awakened beings, to the annual Spiritual Dick Measuring Contest!—where enlightenment isn’t just a state of being, it’s a competitive sport. Forget inner peace. This is about who’s more transcendent than thou. And who has the biggest spiritual dick so to speak. Events include: 🥇 Meditation Marathon – Who can sit still the longest while secretly checking their aura score on an app? 🥈 Kundalini High Jump – Bonus points if you mention your third eye activation before anyone else. 🥉 Tantric Flex-Off – Because nothing says spiritual mastery like humblebragging about your 9-hour breathwork session. Scoring Criteria: - Number of 5-meo trips (double points if you did them rectally) - Times you've said “I don’t identify with ego anymore” while clearly doing so - How often you use the phrase “vibrational frequency” in casual conversation - Ability to quote Rumi out of context to win arguments Disqualifications: - Expressing genuine vulnerability - Asking questions instead of giving unsolicited advice - Admitting you’re still figuring things out Remember: it’s not about healing, it’s about winning. Because nothing screams spiritual maturity like passive-aggressively correcting someone’s chakra alignment in a forum thread. Namaste peasants! Get ready to find out who has the biggest spiritual dick this year! Let the chat begin!!!

Menopause is not a negative or shameful thing nor does the article suggest it. However it is still an evolutionary mystery. It's interesting to think about that things we like (or dislike) about ourselves and even take credit for could be partly shaped by the opposite sex!
-
Here's just one example: menopause is created from men's desire for younger women. Source: NPR https://share.google/rWiwGoflCIxdSn12h What role have women played in shaping men's personalities and physical appearance? Perhaps a better understanding of this leads can lead to a better understanding of how relationships work.

Ya he has the ability to have good conversations. This interview shows how the conservative mind works and also raises some good bipartisan issues. A kind of steal-man argument from the right. -
TYT recommend this video.

this did not age well. He starts by saying " what a time to be alive". However if the Democrats took some of these talking points they might have had a chance. -
They are so much more advanced then us they can stay hidden no matter how good our tech gets I think.

True. I should say that my point applies to the political epistimological bubble then only. Thanks for clarifying. -
In this post about TV in other countries, Leo does what he does best and highlights epistemological bubbles that both foreigners and the native population is blind too. https://www.actualized.org/insights/tv-in-3rd-world-nations Leo argues that breaking out of one's own epistemological bubble is the hardest part. However I claim there's an easy way for Westerners to begin escaping the Western bubble: simply realize that most Westerns already reject the worldview of about half their own population. Just like Russia, N.korea, and Iran hate the US, liberals and conservatives hate each other with almost equal ferver. It's easy for a liberal to break free from the conservative epistemological bubble and vice versa. Yet by doing so the liberals break out of at least some of their own country's bubble. Now it's just a matter of extending that to the other half of the country that you identify with to see your country as foreigners do.

Leo blog mentions this channel and I hate to admit it but I fiind it to be a pretty good steal-man explanation of the right. It gives compelling arguments to why depression and suicide are up. Why people don't want kids. It also points out the hypocrisies and contradictions of the left. Any thoughts? Here's a quote and a video from the channel

You have just highlighted democracy's biggest flaw: the common uneducated citizen is forced to make the country's most important decisions. None of us are equipped enough to answer the questions you ask because none of us have the education or experience in the relevant fields. Not to mention the sheer amount of intentional misinformation that's ment to confuse and distract citizens. -

Great post. How would you explain horror then? Because your post is describing what people usually do to explain horrors. What's your explanation for why horrors happen? -
Try asking chat gpt. I've heard of people using it for similar purposes with success.
