@Thought Art Yes I question "Bashar". Frankly I don't believe in Bashar. It's the information that's useful, Truth is not in the fact that you believe or don't believe. I never equated Truth with Bashar, I just shared a teaching that may resonate with some. Can you prove you are a human? And how do you know that's true? And how do you know that's true? How do you know he's pretending to channel? How do you know that your skepticism isn't something your ego is using to defend yourself? Your playing a stupid game and stuck on debating if someone is channeling a real entity, that's peanuts compared to applying teachings that can transform your understanding of life and to live a healthier life. I've had some so-called negative side effects from combining Kriya yoga with shamanic breathing. For 2 weeks straight my entire digestive system was rebalancing itself and I was having difficulty having bowel movements because it forced me to change everything I ate and switched over to whole organic foods to be able to deal with the energy that was moving through me. I would be at work at night having to turn off all the lights in a room and then rest in there for 30 minutes and meditate with my eyes closed in order for myself to reboot and recharge. Oh, and I also experienced immense vibrations in my head but it was not any headache or anything like that it was just that my entire eyes and my head was craving darkness and solitude and in order for me to get through this I had to meditate in the dark for about an hour otherwise I just couldn't handle all the stimulation and the light.

Try to surf the waves of suffering brother, you can think of your life as one piece of wave in an immense ocean. Breathe. Do not harm the body. When you get to the other side, you will be Here. The other side is not separate from where you are. But death can also be a window into your deathless true nature. I do smoke cannabis, I notice I read more when I'm not high. I don't eat much when I'm stoned I've noticed. I do love the psychosis cannabis induces but it's not strong enough like LSD or psilocybin. It makes me less social and more Philosophical.

@Yimpa I love ken Wilber, when he was younger he was such a stud and had a nice physique like a world class athlete.

I would say no, because the movie is stimulating and moves your awareness to different parts of the mind without your control. Watching a movie can absorb your attention into a certain stillness and concentrate focus on a feeling or absorption in the sense perception of the movie but to substitute it for original meditation is a way the ego weasels it's way to avoid sitting down and Being Present without getting sucked into content because the ego thrives on stories and thoughts. Even if you mute the volume, your looking and automatically projecting language, meaning and interpretations onto the pixels on the screen without your noticing what's going on because surface level Consciousness isn't aware of how your entire experience is created and maintained.

Ego is a creative expression of Intelligence. The ego is not separate from infinite intelligence, it is a creative aspect and design of it. A small portion of intelligence is not the whole of intelligence but then again it is from a higher, holistic perspective. Intelligence is much more deep and broad then what we currently conceptualize as intelligence. Human intelligence is just about one small aspect of the larger infinite intelligence. The ego is just a thought that the Universe dreamed up. Technically it doesn't exist but, the illusion of it does. This is the paradoxical nature of language, when you try to communicate the transcendent in the relative domain.

Who gives a fuck if he's an alien or not, your lost and debating dumb stuff. Okay he looks weird get over it, move the heck along if it's not resonating with you go find some other teachers I'm sure are better fit for your personality or what you like. You guys look. Weather Bashar is real or not is not the point, the point is the information and if it's useful for you and that you validate it in your own experience. His ideas of following your passion to the best of your abilities without needing to know how it'll come about, or how something will happen, you function as a whole being. He describes being a whole person has not compartmentalizing yourself or trying to do things that the physical mind is not designed to do. And he provides a model of this as your higher self your personality mind and your physical mind. I like this because you can see it as being a whole functional being is letting these parts of your being function harmoniously without one trying to do the job of the other. He does speak a lot about Beliefs , assumptions, and getting in touch with your belief systems which is a really big focus with Leo and he's really good at that too. Questioning beliefs and Bashar does touch on epistemology a bit. Not everyone's going to resonate with this new age stuff, it is easy to get lost and to self deceive yourself and to believe all kinds of shit. But even Bashar mentioned to not get hung up on debating or being too skeptical if he's real or not because that doesn't matter at all. If infinite insight is channel through a medium, it is bound that people will criticize and critique the medium rather than getting the communication that's coming through to medium. He ain't the best teacher but like the old saying goes when the student is ready the teacher will appear. There are many great, teachers, sages and mystics and Leo is a great one

@Thought Art Don't get hung up on the character or person, it's about the information and if it works for you. You can either get hung up on Leo's personality or how he talks or you can focus on applying the principles and information to live a better, conscious life.

@OBEler Interesting, I happen to be more introverted and introspective rather than outwards but I took the personality traits test and I am an ENFJ. I've had crazy insane mystical experiences and numerous "psychotic breaks from reality and have experienced some pretty far out things. My sense of reality is loose and am on a razors edge with ordinary consciousness. Any moment there can be huge tidal wave of a radical shift in my awareness. So I am open to exploring consciousness in a rich way, but I am also cautious with delusions and self deception which I am so thankful for finding Leo and being grounded by his guidance in metaphysics and epistemology. Billions is only a small fraction of infinity. Your shifting through Infinity. Reality is not static, it is fluid. It may sound wacky but it's not about believing this is true, but by taking the full idea in its depth and contemplating and wrapping your mind around it, maybe there is the possibility of having a breakthrough in consciousness.
