  1. These are strong metaphysical assumptions. First, what is an object literally? Pick any object around you. And notice what's actually there. Try to put your awareness on it like putting a tree on fire. Are you implying that there is real reality we are only interpreting through the lens and filters of context, and that independent of this way of seeing is the thing in it of itself? Reality without context.
  2. Mind is Infinity. Infinity is Mind
  3. Appreciate you. You know, that's an interesting question. I don't have an answer for that. One thing I have noticed after not taking psychedelics for over five years, is I can get state complacent. Like the fire of my spiritual thirst is a bit low. Since there is so much to integrate as well, there can be a stabilization period, or a plateau. But this path is a life long journey, so there will be little and big intervals, phases and changes but I wouldn't worry to much if psychedelics hinder our spiritual progression and consciousness awakenings unless self validated or confirmed otherwise bro
  4. You guys!!! I figured it out. Context is Mind. It's the waves on the shores of Empty Mind. There are infinite requisite varieties of Contexts and each possible context is like a grounding string that holds your sense of sanity together. Think of any possible context right now! Okay you might start by observing your immediate surroundings and conclude the basic context in which you exist right now is you standing on some firm ground in some place around some town on some planet etc, if not your own personal or psychological context or where you find yourself right now emotionally and financially. But either way no matter what context you're able to grasp right now, try to notice that it's being held by your mind. That specific context or any context, doesn't exist out there in the world. Because the same context can be looked at in many different ways by many different people. Your context is specific. Context is. I don't know what the fuck it is. Lol
  5. Psychedelics can open the flood gates of consciousness and mind. My position is this. You must already be doing spiritual work, consciousness work, heavy existential contemplation, already doing advanced nuanced personal development and self actualization. Have a healthy eating habit, already moving towards your life purpose. Know what your values and passions are. Lots of study and theoretical knowledge as a foundation. Deep study of epistemology and a deep thirst for spiritual Transcendence are keys for making the most of your trips. Also understanding beforehand that these trips don't last and to not mistake these for permanent transformation or consciousness. You must know to continue your integration after our journey and to continue doing the daily grind, bringing the transcendental back into the relative. Also you must study self deception and how the ego deludes and conflates these experiences. Basically study Leo Gura, Ramana, Alan Watts really good before you do them and to be aware of mind projecting these people's ideas onto your trip.
  6. @Razard86 Absolutely bro 🔥 your on fire, thanks for your input
  7. The study of epistemology requires a study of meta epistemology. Epistemology of epistemology. Also a meta epistemology of meta epistemology.
  8. That's pretty condescending. We are all going to die, being afraid of death is natural and can spark a desire to face death consciously through non-dual teachings. Besides that, do you have any original thoughts or opinions on this subject?
  9. Very good. Now keep kicking the can. What is consciousness arising in?
  10. Everything arises in Context. But what is context arising in? What is the context of Context?
  11. Give someone DMT and they're entire experience of language and context gets pulled and destroyed into something radically different
  12. Yeah definitely. Happiness is not found in the world, the world is change and impermanence. Happiness is created from within. Nothing can make you happy. The beauty of life is to embrace the suffering and pleasures without clinging to them or resisting change. I once had an Awakening on LSD that the reason why people chase and seek happiness and pleasure in their lives, is because they don't know who they are and that they feel that they are incomplete and not whole. The desire for happiness is suffering, is the fear of death, the fear of maintaining this seperete self. Most people desire things of the world that do not last and cannot save them from the drowning waters of dissolution. They don't want tranquility and peace of mind. They want to run on the hamster wheel of becoming and achieving without realizing they're pissing it all away.
  13. What we consider reality to be is largely conceptual. Not merely our internal dialogue, but a collective conceptual web.
  14. Happiness and suffering are two sides of the same coin of survival. This is the mechanics of survival. Survival is a charged activity that is being constantly maintained by the sense of self, which it's job is to move towards what serves the self and away from anything that threatens it. There is something transcendental that happiness points to but it is not of this world so to speak. It is possible to live within the world of cravings and pain but not be bound by it. This is something that is profoundly possible, it's called being a sage.
  15. @UnbornTao Yes, reality is independent of language and symbols. A mountain exists whether or not anyone names it mountain. The sun burned for billions of years before a single human said sun. A newborn, or even a animal, perceives warmth, hunger, sound, light all without needing words for it. Language and symbols don’t create reality, they only carve it into pieces, label it, and make it communicable. Reality is immediate, self existing. Language is a layer on top, a kind of map. Language is a map and we take it for granted when we absorbed it as babies around us. There is raw immediate experience, then there is the map.
  16. Whoaaa!!! That's amazing
  17. You guys!!!! I'm still hiking through this puzzle of inquiry into the nature of context. Guess what I found down here? I found infinity!!!! Look! What is Context? Context is not a thing, it's not some ultimate backdrop to everything. Context is the fabric of existence itself. It's not static, context isn't found in reality. Context is an infinite eyeball of every possible infinite perspective happening right now! There is no overarching backdrop to existence. Every point in consciousness already contains every other point as potential context. This puts language and communication in their place because they're only one slice of this intelligent relational field of potential context.
  18. @UnbornTao Im willing to propose that language is not needed for communication. What if language is actually further away from actual communication. What if language is an indirect subset of actual communication. If I show you a nectarine, obviously we both hear and say the word "nectarine" and we'll probably both have ideas and past presumptions about nectarines, how it tastes to us and if we're in the mood or hungry to eat it and what it means to us. But once you take it from my hand without speaking, and you taste it with me, now there is a shared experience that is closer to raw reality not using words or symbols. Handing you the nectarine and tasting it conveys the full sensory reality. The texture, taste and juiciness. This bypasses symbols entirely. It captures something that words can never.
  19. I have nothing against AI. I see it as a supplement and a tool to further ones curiosity and contemplations, but I am very careful as to not think that AI can just hand me an existential insight. You still have to go through the formula in your own mind because there's no shortcut in this work. Whether you reach the finish line with AI is irrelevant to having a direct consciousness of Truth. I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying I'm just simply adding and dovetailing with it my perspective.
  20. Basically you have a semiotic view? Communication is by definition symbol use. That language is a necessary condition for communication. I'm pointing to a different register. Communication can happen without mediation. Like when a baby cries and I sense it's distress, there's no symbol processing, just an immediate resonance. The communication is not about something, it is something. It's the raw experience itself shared in simultaneity. If you define communication as symbolic transmission, then yes language is necessary. But if you see communication as shared Being then language is only one modality and not necessary. Think about it. A baby doesn’t come preloaded with mom means X. The baby resonates with tone, touch, vibe and direct nonsymbolic communication. language rides on communication, not the other way around. Direct communication = Being resonating with itself
